  We start with a nice chat between Will and Jack. Like the old friends they are.

  Crazy serial killers, by word of mouth, know that Will is back to work.

Today we have a strange combination of a killer who kills and a guy who takes the person killed and puts her in a horse.

    Will’s therapy is basically the two of them talking dirty to each other.

    The investigation takes Will and Jack to Peter Bernardone, the guy who sewed the girl in the horse but didn’t kill her.

Unfortunately a social worker is the killer and the man wants Peter to be framed for his crimes.

This rings a bell for Will who now goes straight to the rescue of poor Peter.

Will takes Hannibal with him because… Because yes, it makes perfect sense.

What happens after this is pure anarchy.

They find Peter sewing his social worker in a dead horse.

  Actual dialogue

  Will accompanies Peter out of the room while Hannibal enjoys the company of a grown-up lamb.

    The social worker is not dead.

No, he’s not.

I always ask myself how the fuck Peter managed to put a dead girl inside a horse… But an alive man? Ok, he was knocked out but…

I’m sure that Hannibal is jealous of Peter’s undoubted skills.

The social worker comes out of the horse.

  The social worker owes his life to the scene we all worship.

Let’s praise some more these two idiots.

Jack arrests Chilton and for now he is the Ripper. Someone should be. Will is not, Gideon is dead…

Just as long as you don’t accuse Hannibal.

  Miriam confirms Chilton is the Ripper when she shoots him.

Rage against Chilton number two.

First the guts, then a bullet in the face…

But there’s good news at the end of this episode.

Will decides to resume his therapy.

  Will wakes up for the most beautiful day of all his life. So far. Because he’ll have others. Even better.

Anyway…

He starts his day discovering he ate an ear. Who among us doesn’t wake up one day to something like that?

Will needs help.

Who you gonna call?

Hannibal!

And that’s the best solution Will has. It’s really sad.

In the next scene you can watch two men acting. Mads and Hannibal. They’re both good but Hannibal is gold.

Hannibal suggests to call Jack. Will is arrested and taken away in a police car. Winston has something to say.

Hannibal left so many evidences against Will scattered for the police to find that Will is quickly accused of all Hannibal’s killings.

Like it’s normal that a serial killer who has never left a proof before suddently lays a trail of body parts for the police to find.

Will understands there’s no hope for him unless he tries to defend himself.

He is transferred. In a van. According to tradition, since he is a dangerous serial killer they give him one man as a security guard.

Will threws the guard and the driver from the vehicle and drives…where?

Where?

Will takes Hannibal to the first episode, in the kitchen where he killed Hobbs and Abigail disappeared. He has an epiphany: he understands that Hannibal did all this to him so he threatens to kill him.

Jack arrives and after a quick look at the two of them, he decides to shoot Will knocking him out. We had little doubt about that.

This season ends with Will seriously hurt.

Will: I hope this won’t become a regular thing…

Us: No, no… Don’t worry. Keep…going.

At least they are treating him for his encephalitis.

Hannibal brings Will food to compete for his friendship

Since he fears he has no hope, he eventually kills the girl.

Jack wants to dismiss her death as a suicide, but Will starts to investigate.

In a blink of an eye Jack discovers that Abigail helped his father to kill all the girls he killed, Will takes Abigail to a holiday trip to the cabin where his father killed the girls and Hannibal instills in Jack doubts about Will.

Jack, the one who keeps telling Will do your job, don’t worry, you’re strong, you can do it, there’s nothing wrong with you, instantly believes Hannibal.

Hannibal is very pleased.

During her fun trip Abigail sees one of Will’s episodes; she’s there while Will hallucinates about killing her.

And after she leaves him and runs away she meets Hannibal who tells her everything she needs to know about him.

Not a good thing to know all about Hannibal. Unless you’re Will.

Probably Abigail is done with all her dads.

while hallucinating.

Dr Gideon is being taken to court to testimony against Chilton. In a van.

Since he is a dangerous serial killer they give him this man

as a security guard.

This is the result

 Will is more and more concerned about his mind

Dr Gideon goes around killing and mocking the psychiatrists who talked to him while he was incarcerated.

Among them there are also Dr Bloom and Dr Chilton.

Of the two of them, who is going to be kidnapped?

Yes!

And who is going to be opened while awake and deprived of some very useful organs?

I already told you that Dr Chilton is an accommodating man. He will accept all of this with a shrug.

The next one in danger is Dr Bloom.

Fortunately Will intercepts Dr Gideon and takes him away.

Where?

To Hannibal’s home, why ask?

But there’s an explanation to that. Will sees Hobbs, not Dr Gideon. Since Hobbs is dead and he is a hallucination clearly Will takes him to Hannibal. Flawless.

Puppy Will is so exhausted that he has a seizure in the middle of the room.

Hannibal touches him here and there, because why not?

And then leaves him trembling and mumbling

while he and Dr Gideon talk, laugh, have dinner and congratulate each other on being serial killers.

No, actually Hannibal threatens Gideon with his stare.

Hannibal’s stare is like a good horror movie; you can’t look away but you are forever scarred by fear.

Remember that Hannibal is holding a grudge because Gideon claims to be the Chesapeake Ripper.

So Abel prefers going to finish his job by killing Alana.

Will revives just in time to stop Dr Gideon; then he is taken to the hospital.

Finally.

There, maybe someone will notice he is not well.

Yeah. Right.

Will can’t cope with the fact that Abigail killed a man

After they remind each other they’re a family of killers

We witness the very first of many Will’s attempts of drawing a clock.

It’s actually an exercise that makes us all -Hannibal too- understand that Will is not well, but makes Will just sick of drawing clocks.   

This time he doesn’t only hallucinate, lose time and freak out, but is also almost convinced to have killed a girl.

He is terrorized

And Jack hates him.

Same shit different day.

With this awesome news, Will persuades Hannibal to take him to a doctor.

Yes, he persuades him like that, Will has his ways.

 After the brain scan shows that Will has encephalitis, Hannibal and the doctor who did the scan decide to keep the information for themselves because, you know, Will is full of friends.

So Will is now convinced he is crazy, after all.

He does another brain scan. This time at night, with no one around; the clinic is dark and silent.

Look at that cute puppy all alone and about to make a happy discovery.

There, Hannibal killed Will’s doctor because he doesn’t want anybody to know about Will’s encephalitis. Probably he wants to be the one giving Will the good news.

The new killer is blamed for the mess (for now).

Hannibal and Will go on with their lives. Well, one more optimistically than the other.

Anyway, new dad is scary

Abigail is grounded.

Thanks to a dream, Will realizes that Abigail killed the guy.

Jack has the nerve to tell Will “You shake it off, get to work”. It’s important to point out the zero fucks Jack gives toward Will’s state of mind for future references.

  So Will goes to Hannibal to discuss the case. While discussing, since they’re at it, they do this cute love dance around the desk. Actually, it’s probably just Hannibal following Will.

  Hannibal is surrounded by patients who are potential killers or patients who have potential killers as friends.

Tobias is a friend of Franklyn’s; Hannibal goes meet him to tell him that he likes him.

And Tobias returns the favour by accepting a dinner with Hannibal.

  Will keeps himself busy kissing Alana. Then goes confess his sins to Hannibal because he clearly feels guilty.

But puppy-Will is always forgiven.

Who wouldn’t forgive him?

Well, Hannibal sends Will to Tobias… So maybe forgiveness is a strong world.

Anyway all’s well that ends well.

Franklyn is killed

After a sexy fight scene, the first one of many, also Tobias is killed

    And the result is

  In this orgy of killers and killed people, finally at least one killer is caught.

Where we meet Doctor Abel Gideon, one that will truly put up with Hannibal’s shit. Abel is the most relaxed man in the world, especially if you have just cut his leg off to make him eat it. 

Anyway, let’s take this step-by-step.

Abel is a prisoner in the BSHCI. Because he killed some relatives.

But also because he still has problems.

That’s why Will and Jack go to the Institute, where Dr Chilton welcomes them.

Dr Chilton is the second character in this show, after Dr Gideon, who doesn’t take his misfortunes personally.

Actually this episode is the bringer of this scene, which happens only in Will’s mind (and probably in Hannibal’s trousers every now and then).

This is dark-Will.

You can see here the difference with the real Will.

And understand the reason why Hannibal is eager to change him into a killer.

  Dr Gideon claims to be the Chesapeake Ripper.

Since the Chesapeake Ripper is Hannibal the problem is clear.  

Hannibal is not amused.

Maybe it’s because in this episode he doesn’t see Will.

When Hannibal is not amused he starts to kill people, cut pieces, eat them and make all his friends eat with him.

From this, they all should learn that you don’t keep Hannibal away from Will, simple as that.
