VELVET/KID RITZ “Stars”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ritz sighed as he finished up an interview with yet another celebrity. It was now about midnight, and she had a snobby attitude and had a snarky comeback for every question he asked. Her name was Glitz if he recalled correctly. Just another basic celebrity with the same masked personality, trying their best to charm whoever was watching from home. He moved onto the next star, his boss said he had to do all the interviews at the event… no help at all. It was gonna be a long night.

Next up was.. Velvet and Veneer. He prepared himself and rehearsed the questions in his head before approaching the two. His eyes had been on  Velvet for awhile. The twins had done tons of interviews with him and they exchanged numbers eventually, so he knew them at the level of a floater friend. Velvet was stumbling on top of Veneer who looked around awkwardly. He noticed Ritz coming up to him and immediately straightened his twin sister up by the shoulders, trying to cover up the fact that she was drunk and failed pretty miserably. Velvets eyes darted around from the sudden movement before they focused on Ritz.

“Hey… hey. Did you know I gottt,” she holds up two fingers, “TWO cats… named.. haaa.” Velvet forgot what she was trying to say and went back to trying to escape her brothers grip.

“No you don’t?” Veneer groaned, looking up at Ritz. “Sorry about her.. she’s uh, just having a lot of fun!” he was obviously trying to cover up the fact that she was underage and drunk. 

‘Man, do these events in Rageous even pay attention to age limits?.’ Ritz thought before remembering where he was and  looked away for a second before refocusing his attention on the two. 

Ritz opens his mouth to speak, but Veneer suddenly got dragged away by some random guy that he seemed to be friends with. Since his grip had previously been on Velvet, the sudden jerk made her crash right onto the floor, with a loud thud. He winced and crouched down to poke her, checking if she was out.

She rolled over onto her back and started giggling uncontrollably, kicking her legs like a little kid. Ritz smiled a bit at the sight. Seeing her act childlike and laughing for real made him see her a lot more human than her celebrity facade showed. But he did realize she was drinking underage, and he really didn’t want her getting in trouble… Oh! He could try and flush the alcohol out of her? Maybe that could work fast.

“Um, Velvet, can you come with me? And try and act normal..” she looks up at him with those big blue eyes, they were dazed and her pupils were dialated. He breathed in sharply. She was so obvious.

“Stranger danger!” she exclaimed and tryed running away, but Ritz held her around her stomach, making her just look like a cartoon character trying to take off.

She looked back at him, comically defeated. “Okay, fine, stranger.” 

He sighed, relieved, and helped her walk over to a cooler filled with water and alcohol. Her eyes widened at the sight of another drink and tryed reaching in. He shoved her away from it.

“Oh, no you don’t.” He grabbed a few bottles of water and slammed the cooler shut. His boss was going to kill him, but the law would kill Velvet if he didn’t try and help her.

She looked up at him with the most hurt look she could come up with, and tears started pooling in her eyes. He thought she was crying over the alcohol, but she definitely wasn’t. “I love mac and cheeeeese…” she slapped her hands over her face and sobbed dramatically. 

“Yeah, I know you do.” he didn’t know what else to say. He lead her to the bathroom since it was more secluded and sat her down on a platform that was attached to the wall. He sat beside her and opened a bottle of water.

“Look, Velvet, you need to drink a few of these, I just don’t want you getting in trouble.” he holds the water up to her mouth and helps her sip some. Some dribbled down her chin and dropped onto her dress, leaving a few dark spots.

She didn’t argue and continued drinking it with his help, then suddenly shoved the bottle away, causing some water to go flying on the floor. 

"Oh, look at the stars! So beautiful!" she points up to the ceiling, her face melted into a more relaxed look. He looked at her in bewilderment, man, she was gone..

"We're inside. Those are ceiling lights." he rested his head and his palm and smiled a bit at her. She was a much more enjoyable person to be around when she wasn’t constantly degrading something or trying to seem sophisticated. She was just a normal teenage girl just this once. 

He noticed she’d been quiet for some time and looked down to see dozed off, her head resting on the wall. He smiled a bit and decided to scroll on his socials. Yeah, he could’ve left her there to sleep and finished up his interviews. But he just.. couldn’t. 

‘Shit,’ he thought with a audible sigh. ‘I only got her to drink one bottle.’ She had slept for a few hours, and he eventually joined her, moving his head to rest on the opposite side of the wall, his hand resting on his stomach, and quickly fell into a deep sleep. 

He felt a shake. Another. Ugh, was that his mom? His eyes opened slowly and he remembered he was still at this stupid event. Wait, HAD THEY LEFT THEM THERE? The event had to have been over by now. That’s so embarrassing! Oh no.. oh no no no.. He had to-

Velvet turned his head to face her, and smashed her lips into his, gripping his hair. His eyes widened, but closed after a few moments. Well, that was unexpected, but it’s all he’d ever wanted. He knew his face was bright purple by now. He gently placed his hands on her waist, and pulled her closer. Their teeth lightly brushed together, making him shudder a bit before going back in. He quickly understood what he was doing and backed away. 

“Is that what you’ve been wanting?” She brought her hand to her mouth snickered at how flustered he was.

“Velvet, stop, you don’t know what your doing.” He scratched the back of his neck, avoiding eye contact with her.

She chuckled. “Oh, yes I do.” Her voice sounded different. He looked at her confused, then realized. Her pupils were back to normal and her mannerisms were the same as he’d always known. 

“I’m sober now, obviously.”

ORCHID HEADCANONS

-a bit younger than v&v, around a few months

-birthday is december 21st

-actually quite extroverted, but once she’s had enough social time, she’s done 

-HORRIFIED of mouses

-one time there was a mouse when she went to visit vel and she jumped on top of a counter and cried for like a hour

-figure skater

- idk why she js looks like one

-when v&v get out of prison and take voice lessons, they eventually start making singles again and she gets featured as a backing vocalist😎

-yes my girl can sing she is just a bit shy

-loves the hunger games movies

-probably reads and writes fanfiction

-says some outrageous things when it’s late at night

-middle name is violet

-very close with ritz, he’s her boy bestfriend

-they got close because of all the double dates with the twins

-blasted criminal by britney spears while wailing for days when velvet got arrested

-ritz joined her and they went through 20 boxes of tissues and 5 boxes of chocolate 

-but she did visit vel in prison a lot and made sure she was eating 

-because vel refused to eat the jail food

-she wears her hair up so much and for so long that when she takes it down it dents and stays in the air

-so vel will have to spray it with water and brush it down and it takes sooo long

-wears her hair in 2 braids when she goes to sleep

-LOOOVES into the night from bath and body works and owns every product of it 

-she has POTS (me too sister✊)

-her skincare routine is literally a cold washcloth and she manages to have flawless skin

VELVET (some veneer) HEADCANONS

-had braces from 5th grade to the end of middle school

-favorite movie is mean girls but only watched it for regina and took ideas from her

-CHORUS 👏 KID

-mezzo soprano but leans towards soprano more than alto

-had a ragdoll cat named glitter when the twins were growing up

-my girl got her sm borderline personality disorder..

-pretty popular in high school

-she is actually the younger twin, but hates being known as such because it makes her feel inferior and pathetic, so she just lies about being older and veneer just goes with it (he will just tell the person she lied to after because he takes pride in being older)

-one time she let veneer curl her lashes because he wouldn’t shut up about it, and he accidentally ripped them all out

- she refused to go to school for weeks after that and smacked the shit out of him so she got grounded

-greys anatomy and slasher movie girl but veneer HATES watching them because he hates gore

-she loves angel food cake, and veneer prefers devils food, so they would always have a split cupcake cake on their birthday

-vel was the knife sibling and ven was the one running

-they used to steal lipglosses at walmart 

-cut her own bangs at age 8 and dragged veneer into it so they had some shitty bangs for about 2 years

-her favorite types of nails to get done is pink french tips

-middle name is vienna

-her and veneer’s birthday is july 25th ( dreamworks said they were leos if im correct)

-grew up as a dancer but was better at ballet than anything

-she also did gymnastics !!

-veneer did some basketball but eventually just did hip hop

-she was shorter than veneer growing up and grew about a *inch* taller than him in middle school and never stopped bragging about it
