Congrats to On/Air for getting on Xfm last night !! still totally in love with these lyrics!! ♥ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gKHXXJiGSM
She pulled herself away
From my essential gaze
She dug her heels, I screamed
And I loved her more
You are (to a girl like her), Unwanted
I wanna live to see.
If I love you more (to a girl like her)
Unwanted
No problem, I’m gonna make it happen
Should I go now, oh no there’s no hope for me
(Please) Let it go, (please)
I wanna live to see, if I’ll love you more
You live by, you die by the sword you know
I wanna live to be, the one who knows
You die by the sword you know
Oh let me go down, and I, won’t let me go down
Oh let me go down, and I, and I won’t let me go down and I know
You make, make, wanna make, wanna make it happen
Oh let me go down, and I know
You live by, you die by the sword you know
I wanna live to be, the one who knows
You live by, you die by the sword you know
I pulled myself away
She puts the life in me
She dug her heels, I screamed
And I loved her more
You are (to a girl like her)
Unwanted

Radio station saved
Peckham radio station Reprezent has raised more than £25,000 to stay on the airwaves, after warning it was “days away” from administration due to funding cuts.
The Queen’s Road-based station has been broadcasting since 2011 and is presented exclusively by young people aged 25 and under. DJs have gone on to work for Ministry of Sound, BBC 1Xtra and Capital Xtra.
The social enterprise was dealt a huge blow earlier this year when it lost three grants worth a total of £220,000, amounting to about 40 per cent of its annual turnover. But it managed to escape closure thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Station manager Adrian Newman said: “We were just days away from going under – the money raised literally saved us. Every single donation meant a huge amount to us, whether it was people who gave £100 or kids who donated £1 or £2.”
Reprezent helps young people boost their confidence and communication skills while gaining invaluable experience. “The media industry is notoriously difficult to break into,” said Newman.
“More advantaged families are quite often able to support their children while they doing essential volunteering to get their foot in the door, but there’s a lot of young people who don’t have that financial support.
“We can offer them hours of airtime and practical experience. By the time they’re 18, they’ll have learnt a variety of skills including production, presenting, audio-editing, researching and running.”
The station is also a platform for new talent, said Newman. “Our young presenters are very good at selecting which unsigned artists to play. We have a high-quality sound but with an ear so close to the underground.
“We’re not just fed by the industry, by pluggers and managers. The young people are like little hunter-gatherers – they go out and scour [online audio platform] SoundCloud and that kind of thing.”
The cash raised has secured the station’s future for now, said Newman. “It doesn’t mean we’re on Easy Street by any stretch, but it has bought us some time to do a lot of restructuring and looking for new business to replace the funding that was cut.
“It’s shaky ground out there at the moment for any third sector company. Youth services are being cut, arts and culture budgets are being decimated. It’s a tough climate to work in.”

No Time For War
No Time For War
No Time For War
In the silence in the shadows
In the deepest grave that’s ever been,
Lives the voice of all reason
In the world no-one’s seen.
Memories will be rewritten with no pain left inside.
Tears will be forgotten. There was no time when you cried.
In the valleys deep and darkened
In the nightmares, in the screams
Lives the Devil that needs fighting
Fill those shadows with your…
