and ANOTHER thing, those thrones on olympus were BORING AS FUCK, not that we should be surprised since the whole show was boring. but just boring ass stone with different engravings? the coolest part of olympus imo is how unique the thrones are to each individual god.

zeus’s is made of pure platinum which just exudes luxury and power, just like his pin stripe suit he always wear, and then poseidons is a fucking deep sea fisherman’s chair, which matches his casual ass hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts look, like HELLO??? that’s how it should be. the gods have their built in goofy aesthetics and they stick to them and that’s FUN.

I'm in the middle of rewatching Shadow and Bone, and I still can't believe that a group of ragtag criminals outsmarted a whole lot of trained Grisha.

He met the Darkling, roasted the hell out of him by saying that his girlfriend ran away because she was sick of him, made him cry, evaded his cut with a magic trick, knocked out his Materialnik, and stole his carriage.

inej and kaz having issues with touch due to trauma. kaz and wylan drowning and being reborn in the ketterdam harbor. wylan and jesper feeling like they have to hide a part of themselves due to their fathers. jesper and nina being grisha with addictions. nina and matthias being raised as a weapon rather than a human. matthias and inej being deeply religious. inej and wylan making themselves smaller because of the abuse they suffered. wylan and matthias being forced into a life of crime. matthias and kaz losing their parents and siblings. kaz and jesper being thrown into the barrel because of reckless behavior involving money. all of these characters being so different yet so similar and forever interconnected with each other because they know that no one else will understand

One minute I'm normal the next I'm thinking about how one day inej will come back from a mission where she wasn't able to save everyone and Kaz will notice she's really not herself and then one day she breaks down in front of him and tells him she's a monster and then Kaz lists all the reasons she's not as he holds her

My headcanon that isn't actually a headcanon because it's freaking dumb (but it made me laugh):

Jesper and Wylan have a guest room for Kaz that he can crash at whenever he wants, but he always refuses to and snaps at them to leave him be and stop mothering him.

They eventually do and one day, after months of Kaz refusing to spend a single night there, they let someone else sleep in it.

They wake up to someone prodding them in the middle of the night. It's Kaz looming over them and matter of factly asking why there's a stranger occupying his room. Jesper takes him by the scruff and kicks him out of the house.

the back half of sea of monsters is super cute and full of percabeth moments, especially from annabeth’s perspective (aka the emotionally aware perspective)

-percy holds annabeth through her breakdown after the sirens in a bubble underwater, and talks her through it afterward

-percy falls asleep on a sleeping annabeth and the golden fleece as they’re riding back to miami, since the story is from percy’s pov we don’t know what happens while he’s asleep but it’s safe to say annabeth wakes up at some point and is happy to let percy lie on (cuddle with?) her until they reach the shore since no one wakes percy up until the hipocampi stop moving

-she doesn’t say it out loud but she totally is doubly impressed by two things percy does in like a 30 minute span once they get ashore: trust clarisse to fly home alone with the fleece, and sneakily iris message dionysus and trick luke into clearing chiron’s name to dionysus and the camp. annabeth says percy is ‘too nice’ to let clarisse leave with the fleece which i think is her admitting it’s a good idea she wouldn’t have thought of herself since trusting people who don’t treat her well doesn’t work out for her (see: chase, frederick), and percy tricking luke with the sword and monolouge to distract him from the iris message behind him is totally a plan worthy of athena

it’s no wonder she kisses him (on the cheek) after they win the chariot race
