College is still taking up my time but I needed to warn you guys. This looks like a bit of an attention whore case making a ragebait account so she can plagiarise other people's works very blatantly and then get angry when she gets caught.

She also said "Israel and Palestine give me the serious ick" so that's another reason why I believe this is a ragebait blog.

I don't know if she's a hsr blog too but I wanted to warn everyone here that has a writing blog to keep an eye out for plagiarism.

Please block and report @/daeydream and do NOT engage with her. That just gives her what she wants: attention.

hello everyone :) i usually don't post things like this, but it has come to my attention that @daeydreams is copying my work and reposting it on her blog while acting inoccent.

i first encountered dae's blog when her 'work' appeared on my dashboard.

the words, everything, all copied from my post. i'm also pretty sure she took the banner as well.

this post, was MY original work. And I would like to add, she didn't even change anything on my post, just plainly copied/pasted it and posted it.

For context, i posted this on March 17th, 2024.

so I went to her dm's to ask her to take it down, providing screenshots about my plagiarised work.

and her response wasn't exactly the politest.

then after providing that less than polite response, she blocked me.

Then after she blocked me, i got a dm from one of my mutuals (their user will not be provided as they asked me to keep it confidential) saying that she copied another one of my works.

i do not tolerate plagerism, in any shape, form or way.

this, is my original ideas, my original work.

this is a situation that i do not tolerate, and it is degrading to have something stolen from me, even making it obvious that you were stealing my work. didn't jumble it up or even replace words- just uprightly copied my work and posted it as yours.

calling yourself a writer, not to mention acting inoccent while you were at it, is pathetic.

Please block and report dae, and if you are following/mutuals with this person, I ask that you block me/break our mutual, if you want to keep interacting with dae. If you want to add any other information/edits to this post, send me a dm or ask to add more.

other writers, whether you're following me, mutuals with me or don't know who the fuck I am, please take the time to block dae as well. in her last dm to me, she said in plain words, "and if I want (and I will) I can copy other writers-" I have a feeling that any/all works posted on her account, is from other writers.

so please, beware of dae and block/report her.

after [redacted]'s death in the penacony quest it made me realize it's probably gonna be a common occurrence of hyv introducing a character, forcing the audience to like them and then killing them off last minute. [redacted] is probably not even dead due to leaks and speculation and i was definitely caught off guard when their scene came on but I truly don't have any strong thoughts regarding them

yk that's fair it was pretty fast pacing for [redacted]'s death

but i knew they would probably be alive in the end anyway so i didnt care abt it

I have faith that Hanabi's insult has a deeper meaning in the plot, they have been building it up too well to remain in nothing!

There have certainly been racist things and off-topic comments in Hoyoverse games, but never like this, there has to be something!

The thing is, I really feel that it is too early to say whether the insult was unnecessary or not, because racism is a real issue and there is no problem in representing it, there is no problem in representing minorities... The thing is, I really want to believe, that it is missing, because there is still a lack of story, and they haven't finished with Aventurine to say that it was a bad representation, more people may even appear!

I really have a lot of faith in Hoyoverse, because for me they are MiHoyo, that company that makes beautiful games and gives the opportunity to dozens of people to be artists, writers, musicians and also bring joy. MiHoyo gave me and gives me beautiful moments, but it can also be crude when dealing with its topics

k The story of Aventurine is missing, the story of all the people like Aventurine is missing, so much is missing, as marketing is doubtful, but I am not going to rush to criticize something that is NOTHING finished

If in the end everything was for nothing and they wasted that opportunity to address a serious issue, then I have to cry, no way, you don't defend the indefensible, but I don't want to unfairly cross out something

There is still about 3 weeks left to find out about Aventurine and if everything was really "unnecessary", and until then it seems fool to me to criticize something unresolved and so obvious, which is for the plot

¿Do you want to make your villain racist because your story lends itself to that? You can do it, but it will take time to develop, and we don't give it the time, there are still 1 or 2 updates left

I won't deny that Hoyoverse has provided tons of comfort and joy to billions of people all over the world. I won't deny that there's a beauty in their games. There's absolutely no shame in taking comfort in these games and consuming it. I can't blame anyone for being attached to genshin or hsr or hi3 or tears of themis, you get the idea.

But I can't lie to you guys and say that there's still a possibility that this would turn out well. I've witnessed how Hoyoverse handled the entirety of Sumeru. Are there some aspects of Sumeru that were good? Undoubtedly. It's one of the regions I had the most fun exploring.

However it's extremely telling to me that they haven't learned at all from that situation considering they keep insisting on adding racism plotlines to their story.

My faith in them to handle this properly and with care is in the absolute negatives since the Sumeru situation. I fear for what will happen when Natlan finally drops and to no one's surprise, the archon is gonna be white again and this whole song and dance will repeat just like a samsara.

At the end of the day, Hoyoverse is just another money hungry gacha company who wants to drain your wallets.

It's evident from the dogshit anniversary rewards in genshin,

it's evident from how they always design their characters to be these appealing anime waifu or husbando without ever straying from the standard formula of "thin white/slightly tan character with clothes that make fans bark like a dog",

it's evident in how they seem to drop more money on advertising than they drop on actually improving the game,

and it's evident with how little they actually listen to players' feedback.

Selling these characters and turning up a profit comes first, the story comes second. I'd rather trust a racism plotline in the hands of an indie creator who actually cares about the storytelling medium and does research than a corporation who HAS the resources to do the research but chooses not to.

Hoyoverse is special to many people, but it's time to wake up. Clinging onto a multi-billion company like this isn't healthy.

i seriously can't believe the audacity of the honkai star rail/hoyoverse fandom sometimes, and its so refreshing to see someone else talking about it. i very recently posted that i would no longer be making hsr content bc of hoyoverse's racism, and i already have people coming into the comments and my inbox with all the "oh the translation was wrong they were using google translate its not a slur don't trust twitter hoyo isnt racist blah blah" bullshit and its just so disappointing

anyways, i just wanted to say thank tou for actually talking about the situation and for spreading awareness. its just a really bizarre situation and i appreciate that you've spoken out about it asjjsj

i'm so glad there are others who feel similarly and i'm sorry to hear that you've experienced that

i'm extremely lucky that the bulk of my followers have been very supportive so far and i wish other blogs had that same privilege.

i think it's always admirable for people to maintain their integrity instead of simply doing what others want from you.
