ABDL COMMUNITY FATIGUE

This is a real issue for many in the kink and the community. Many of us struggle with expressing ourselves or even opening up about our kinks at all. There are many forms of fatigue. This can make for a real hard time ever diving into their headspace. I suffer from fatigue myself.

I want to start off by saying there are many forms of fatigue in the community. Some littles go through diaper fatigue, some age regression, loneliness, and many more. The point being your not alone. Recently, I've been dealing with my own fatigue. Which is me not feeling like enough, or that I'm gonna run people off in my life that I care about. This takes a toll on my mental health daily. When these sorts of doubts and fears occur, many fall into a pit in their heads about their kink or lifestyle. No, one should feel shame for what they do behind closed doors or even publicly if they are doing it appropriately. You are valid to have your own lifestyles and kinks. No, one person should dictate who you are and should be. For many, it's not as cut dry as knowing all this, though. So I want to post some tips that help me when I feel really down about my lifestyle.

Talking to a trusted community member. (Ex: another little, a mommy/daddy, maybe even a close kinkster)

Don't feel like you have to please anyone else. (This lifestyle or kink is for you. Own it)

Enforce pleasure into your lifestyle. (This will help your mind to associate pleasure to your kink.)

Try to engage in the community daily or weekly. (The more time you put into the lifestyle or kink, the more your mind will crave it).

Enjoying your kink alone! (This is a big one for many. You need to find some part of the kink that you can enjoy alone. The more you own yourself and are doing your lifestyle alone. The less likely you'll feel down about what it is your into.)

Expressing yourself! (Many community members really enjoy praise. Find a few trusted friends and accounts to send photos and kink stuff, too. It makes a lot of difference to hear people congratulate you when you worry about what it is you're doing. The reassure helps to keep people going.)

Don't be pushy! (People in the community talk! No one wants you pushing your lifestyle on them. Everyone that's really into this community is human. Whether they be caregivers or littles. They have normal lives. Respect them as people.)

Don't jump into Dm's with expectations!!!!! (This is a big one in my book. Many of you think so lowly of yourself that you practically climb in people's Dms begging. That isn't attractive to most people. Nor does it usually earn you any goodwill. Be kind and more practical in your approach! This will lead to more friendships and conversations for you in the future.)

Respect people's bios and profile guidelines. (People don't just type these out for no reason. Read them over. Make sure you're not overstepping.)

Respect people sexually!!! (Another big one. People have the choice to identify however they like. You may not understand or support it, but at least respect their choice. It's not anyone else's to be making.)

These are just some of the more helpful things that help me stay in my headspace. I use all these tips daily. A lot of these come down to being open with the community but not being overbearing. Talk to others in the community. Make friends and relationships that or more than just about the community. Just following a few of these tips can lead to an unlikely connection. You never know, just saying, "hi" could spark a whole new relationship.

Ps. Just because someone doesn't want to date you or go out with you doesn't make them any sort of homophobe. They may just not be attracted to you overall. Let's not attack people when they don't have sexual interest in you. They may not care at all if you're part of lgbtq community. That doesn't mean they have to be into it themselves. People can respect your life choices and even be nice to you without wanting to date you. Be kind to one another.
