another tragedy hit our town on april 20th, and we are greatly saddened by the losses felt by the community. at this time, there are twenty-three townspeople missing, and the probability that they were swept into the fault that runs down the middle of town is high.

witnesses did see famous author Andrew Richardson swept into the void, so there is little speculation as to his fate. a memorial was held for him at the chapel, though few attended. while he was apparently a controversial figure, any loss to our community is a tragedy.

we will be pursuing efforts to cover the crack completely in the coming days, as restoration efforts continue throughout town. please be patient with our construction crews, electricians, and plumbers, as they are doing their best to get us all back in working condition.
