RETURN OF THE BLOG

You heard me right! It's been two years but I have motivation for this again! Sure there are. afew changes, but the premise of the blog is the same!

Gilbert and Erika, God and Priest.

Fortunately for you all I will not be doing a lot of art asks anymore, meaning asks should be answered once a week if I have any! Additionally, I've improved my art a bit, so if I do post any it'll be of more consistent quality.

Have fun, y'all! Anything is fair game at this point, even if it takes a while.

Hey y'all, mun Pirri here! Sorry for vanishing, school and finals and health and all that happened (and is still happening but whatever).

As you guys may have seen, I have closed asks and submissions for this blog to reboot it. After the many changes of the au and the people in it I want to update the characters and story and change them a bit. The key points will stay pretty much the same and the characters relationships with active blogs will mostly be unchanged, but I'm going to be filling in some holes left behind by people who left and giving the story a little spin to see where I can take it :)

I'm already working on the new designs and such so you should expect those sometime relatively soon (but not super soon, as I've only done 2 out of my 9 total finals this year).

I'm pretty excited to return to this blog and my other ask blog @ask-cohabitation-seborga, in the meantime I am taking art requests on my main @daretobeking to improve my skills (shameless self promo oh no).

TLDR; Blog temporarily closed for a reboot, should reopen sometime in June + a self promo for my other two blogs.

What does your average day look like?

Erika smiled before saying, “On weekends Gilbert wakes me up at 7:00, eat some breakfast with Vash, water the plants, run around the garden and woods with Gil, usually do some errands in town at around 11:00, eat some lunch at the shrine, run around the woods some more, head home at around 6:00, eat some dinner, draw or read or something similar for a while, then go to sleep. On weekdays I get up at 6:00, eat breakfast with Vash, prepare and leave for school, come home, do some homework, eat dinner, read or draw, then go to sleep. Gilbert shrugged, “I don’t really have a set schedule for my day, my only real constants are when I’m with Erika, otherwise I just wander.”

how's the festival going so far?

Erika grinned “It’s going well! We bought some good food and entered a few costume contests and did pretty well! We’re going to go see some plays soon, and I saw Gilbert earlier but he dissappeared pretty quickly.”

“It’s going alright,” Gilbert said, “I’ve heard a few older stories I haven’t heard before, I even heard a few people telling a version of my origin, it was incorrect but it’s better than nothing.”

do you have any festival related memories?

Erika smiled before answering “A few, Vash tried to take me every year, but he doesn’t go in costume often. One year we were Qui and Chun, that year was great! We had a lot of good food and saw some really cool performances!”

The typically albino god shrugged and looked at the checkered board in front of him, his opponent studying him as he surveyed the peices. “Yes. I used to come with my little brother back when I was human. Even though I was usually busy I always arranged my schedule so I was free during those days.” He his expression darkened with a hint of sadness at the memory before he straightened his spine. Gilbert looked up and scanned the board once more before moving his knight and looking back at his opponent, who sighed and held out his hand, which the disguised god accepted before asking, “Another round?” With a smile.

What's your favorite part of the festival?

Erika smiled happily and looked around. “I love the costumes and the food! They’re both very pretty and fun to make!”

Gilbert smiled and tilted his head, allowing the laurel crown to slide down a little over his currently auburn hair. “I’ve always preferred the stories and history over the event itself, most of the tales discussed at the festival aren’t spoken of again until next year. And even though I have all the time in the world I still haven’t heard all of them.” He straightened his spine and adjusted the lapels of his yellow and brown jacket, a smile stretching across his currently freckled face. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a few things to take care of.”

What are you two going to dress up as?

“I’m going as the Goddess Angi and Vash is going as Indra! I don’t know what Gilbert’s going as, but I guess it doesn’t matter, I’ll know it’s him anyway.”

Mun: Vash told them to stop so Gilbert got himself a different disguise, look out for him at the festival! He’s got a variety of costumes he’ll wear for different events, or just when he wants a change.

Preparing for the festival is not an easy feat, especially with a very excited twelve year old, but Vash found himself able to wrangle some costumes together. They are ready for the festival of unity!
