I know what gets me.

All the people, who think everything is okay. They flock like pigeons to the man on city’s bench, sprinkling seeds on the ground–they act like vultures, trying to get the most kernels, never questioning anything, at all. And the man on the bench? He just stares–eyes glazed over, smiling.

And so, when you asked “what unsettles me?” That does.

Also, what happens to the people, who see through the facade, like it’s a polished-glass window?  What happens to them? They start to withdraw from it. That’s what. And they just hope so hard their spark doesn’t go out. So, they look fervently for the other matches, to keep the fire going. 

And then you asked me when I began to feel this way. As if it were my fault I can see through that window.

So, I thought, “Hey, listen Mister, I just wanted to know where it all went wrong.” And then, I looked at Hope & said, “C’mon, let’s go, I need to find someone who gets us. Maybe someone will understand–if I write-it-out.”

it took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that i would never want to be loved in the way i loved others. i wanted to consume, to possess, to hoard. my love was all encompassing & it was greedy. it needs more and more until you can’t give anymore & then i would move on. spirituality, i am very in tune with my emotions & completely understand how big they are— i just had no idea how to wield my love. now i am learning the skill on how to love without hurting. my love is pure and kind and heals, but it also has the ability to drain, and kill.

I'll believe discharged buddy soldiers over homophobic anons, solos & Jikook antis who've decided to make up rules for the buddy system to help them cope.

There's a interview on two buddy soldiers who've been dischagred, on the ministry site to read. One a cook, one a gunner. Who talked about their experience being together every day & dealing with arguments. One said, "since we lived in the same & shared a bed the entire time we were there until discharge, we would just get in bed & hug it out". Right there you have two confirmed buddy soldiers, with confirmed different jobs, with one being a confirmed cook, telling you straight from the horse's mouth, they were still together every day, living together & sleeping together. So Susan from Oklahoma who knows a friend who knows a korean person, trying to explain the buddy system with their made up rules cause of her homophobic agenda, isn't gonna convince me military changed rules for Jikook. Jikook aren't enlisted separately. They are enlisted companions, so buddy rules will apply for them til discharged regardless of separate jobs. You morons.

Sad knowing Jk has said often he can't concentrate, focus & can't sit still in interviews & all of BTS confirming he doesn't listen or pay attention & how its possible the high stress situation was a bit too much & was assigned something else, we don't know, but instead his fucked up fans are ready to throw him under the bus. Paint him as an asshole who ditched his buddy with no proof & lying he's away from him to cope. Straight up shitting on Jk's month's long hard work he put in to be with Jimin. The application process, the 5 week boot camp training where they were glued 24/7 & picking a harder unit on purpose just to enlist with Jimin. And his fans keep twisting it. So you are saying Jk picked the hardest unit to be a cook in? Braindead losers. ONLY Jk knows why he's cooking & for how long. Leg Injury, too stressful, or a choice doesn't matter, because regardless they are together every single day for the next 2 years & your lies won't change that. Seeing each other breakfast, lunch, dinner and at night in their shared living space. Stay mad.

Let’s be fucking honest for a minute

The problem isn’t that Jikook are doing separate jobs while still being in the same battalion

The problem is that Jungkook isn’t with their fucking fake ship. So they dig up any little shit they can to try and disprove Jikook’s bond, but at the end of the day

Those two are in the same artillery together and no matter how much people bitch, it isn’t going to change the fact that they are and will be together during their entire enlistment

And what classist elitist shit is this?. As if being a cook is frowned upon, y’all know they have to fucking eat right?, and thank god Jungkook is there to help with curating meals that will give them strength and energy to be at their peak performance, and thank fucking god Jungkook is there to oversee and make sure people aren’t doing shady shit to their food. FOH with looking down on him and his job of choice

Y’all miss the big picture of Jikook, and the fact that it isn’t that one is better than the other, but the fact that by doing those two important jobs they can survive if something were to happen to them and their unit.

Jimin’s control over his expressions is just everything. His ability to let the emotion take over his face or only glaze his features like it does here is something he utilises so masterfully as an artist. His “renaissance angel” face is one of my favourites:

…but it’s especially beautiful to see it in photos like this, just frozen in time. When you look at each feature, it’s hard to figure out exactly what he’s doing with them that’s making his face look like that - vulnerable and sensitive and enduring. Jikook and the Importance of Photos

Photographs are special. They map out our lives through precious memories. They leave a footprint in time that can forever be part of our history. These glimpses of our past, make us who we are and show what or who is important to us. They are full of so much love and emotions, even more so when they are shared with those most trusted to us. This goes for every photo shared by the members.

 I personally think it’s amazing that we can tell when a photo of Jimin is taken by Jungkook, there’s a certain style to it and it comes across even at a glance. One of my favourite photos of Jimin by Jungkook is this one:

This photo was taken from the behinds of Life Goes On. Each MV was beautifully directed by Jungkook, and it’s hard to miss the references made from within their old dorm. I know Jungkook isn’t keen on photos but, just like during GCFT, Jimin is looking at Jungkook and not the camera here with that smile. With that one look, that we are so familiar with, we can trace every single moment within their history which has that same shining expression. It tells a story over time, but also that one photo itself is so telling in the way that it was captured. One of my favourite photos of Jungkook by Jimin is this one:

There’s something raw and delicate in this photo.You can see it in Jungkook’s eyes. Each item in the photo tells its own little story, from the Birthday cake to the polaroid photos on the table that we never saw. This photo is all we saw from the night of Jungkook’s Birthday in 2019 and sometimes I am reminded that with these glimpses into their lives, there are still so many moments of theirs that we are unaware of. For example, Jungkook had a hickey on his neck during MOTS:Online and none of us had any idea until the DVD Behinds came out. 

For every selca or video that Jikook has shared with us, it shows a part of them that we are so lucky to witness. To be able to watch their growth over the years is magical and something I will always cherish. Why am I going on about photos and memories though?  Because they give so much of themselves to us and I will never take it for granted, nor expect them to give more to us than they want to. Some of their memories are for them only, but we can still hold dear what we know already…

Some of you know this already, but I have been caring for my Mother lately. Over the last few months, her memory has worsened. In an attempt to help, we play memory games and repeat simple tasks together. However, her memory is something that cannot be simply fixed with such methods. I had the idea to get out family photos, until I realised that we had stopped taking them when my parents divorced. It’s made me more proactive in archiving things that I do each day. Every little thing I see or hear, I note it down or save the song. In a way, it’s also how I associate with BTS or Jikook. When the BTS World soundtrack came out, I was having a really bad day and it gave me a lot of comfort. I smile whenever I hear Pied Piper because it’s one of my friends favourite songs. Any time I hear “Jungkookie” or “Jimin-ssi”, a barrage of memories come to the front of my mind and I grasp onto all of them whilst I still can. 

I'm sure it's not just me who does this either, Jimin and Jungkook probably do this themselves. You could see that when Jungkook was watching Jimin’s compilation with us. He was recollecting the same memories as us, but he also has access to an entirely different set of memories that we don’t know of. We also saw that with the way Jimin and Jungkook both explained the Rainy Day Fight. During the Festa video, Jungkook mentioned “rainy day” and expected Jimin to understand what he meant. Later on, Jimin and Jungkook gave their own versions of what happened in their separate lives. They both more or less experienced the same thing, but blamed themselves for their actions and not the other. 

They love adding to their own collections of memories. Every single time that Jimin watched Jungkook rehearse and the other way around, enough so that they could probably be a backup dancer. All the clips they have but haven’t shared. The moments we don’t find out until later, the inside jokes they have without context. We don’t understand, but that doesn’t matter. Only they have to and we just watch and smile. Their memories are a huge part of them, it’s what makes their bond so special.
