I don’t know what’s worse, the fact I made Queen Cirrus look like a much older version of Nimbus when she’s dressed up for the Idrisball...

Or the fact it’s Everett who points it out, with the backstory I decided to come up with (*intense coughing*), and his role in the Stream of Memories 9A6 Either way, someone should probably come over to my apartment and pap me with rolled up newspaper.

Oh lord...

The review audios are:

33 seconds for the audition

1:10 for round one

1:27 for round two

And then round 3 is 4:45, because oops (that's mostly brand new voice acting and I love my voice actors for coming back 7 years later to record for the round that had little to no voice acting)...

(part A is specifically part of a scene, part B I spent all day mixing and oh man it's a roller coaster of sad).

Note: the 55 audios are rounds 1-4 minus some scenes that weren't mixed yet.

I’ll be honest, I knew the story in my round three (the comic round) was really sad. I knew it. Rereading it almost 8 years later I’m like; “yeah this is freaking sad.”

But nothing...

NOTHING.

Makes me realize just HOW sad it is... until I am mixing the voice acting together for it and going; “Oh my god... listen to all these characters screaming and crying... what have I done.”

Sneak peek February 23rd, 2020

Not a sneak peek, ahaha.

Figuring out the art style for one of the scenes that involve a *lot* of explanations... just little chibis in the background of one of the Visual Novels illustrating a few characters dialog. I think I’ll go with this style, but we will see down the line. Doodled Adonis and Stratus as a test, but these will include all of the semi-finalists, Stratus, Iron, and maybe Everett.

Sneak peek February 2nd, 2020

Sorry it's late, this week's been a bit rough but I have been working on it...! In fact I've done a lot of the profiles for the characters... Too many, maybe. Many of the older profiles that were drawn back in April and line arted have been scrapped and are slowly being replaced by ones that have been drawn with references... Of myself. This has allowed me to have more variety in the poses and expressions that better match the characters.

For example, in previous rounds characters who had more screen time generally had 3-5 poses with multiple expressions each... While one character who is in 3 relatively short scenes (but, 2 outfits) is currently at 8 poses and still going. While this means I'm going to take a lot longer with the dozens of characters who appear in this project, hopefully it will help the visuals of the Visual novel feel less flat. And with a project that surpasses 60 minutes in length... It's going to be a lot.

That being said, trying to get as much done as I can before I'm back to full time salary work (when I get the 'ok' to get rid of my splint by the doctor and rebuild the strength in my hand and wrist) because I'll have little to no time to work on this during summer.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was unable to post everything of my round 4 by the end of 2020, though I don't want to take another year to do it, life and works obviously holds priority.

Someone asked for another audio sneak peek so here we are...!

A quick clip from the first scene of Part Two!! This segment and the rest of the scene between Everett and his daughter Lana was intended to be posted in part one that was posted in 2013; But, due to time restraints it was pushed back to start Part two. 

Round 3 ended with Adonis being apprehended for lashing out at the Prince with a blade during a panic attack. Round 4 starts with it being revealed that he managed to escape the room he was being kept in and the other characters being on high alert, unsure of his mental condition. Turns out he wandered into the Hospital Wing where Yury (his friend) was being nurses after standing in harms way to protect Princess Nimbus.

I love this scene because you can hear just how the events from Round 3 have heavily affected the characters... especially Iron (God I’m so sorry, Miss Kat). Everett is quickly approaching the end of his rope trying to keep things under control...

Sneak Peek Sunday - Jan 19th 2020

I say sneak peek, but I’ve actually decided to change the style of this scene to the VN style instead of an animatic. Too much standing around in the same poses with the same expressions... Plus there were a few mistakes when I had originally storyboarded and digitally linearted these panels (oops) but that was my fault for doing this back in April 2019 when most of the scenes weren’t audio mixed together until November!! 

Going to keep Everett in those sweet garbs though (plain but look like for a stroll into town).

SPEAKING OF THINGS I STORY BOARDED IN APRIL!!

With the ‘Phrase of Fates’ with the Demigod of Archives voting being complete, I can give a little (horrible quality photo) sneak of the first of six pages of story boards for Stratus’ backstory!! With the internet making Adobe Flash Player no longer a thing by the end of the year, this will be changed from a voice-less, interactive flash to just a comic. One less thing for me to stress over while I figure out how to save/repost ALL of my OCT flash entries somewhere else.

I’m a little early but I had the sneak peek ready to go, so I figured why not...? Wasn’t going to post another audio clip so soon but really, being able to share my friends’ voice acting is always such a joy!!

Alana belongs to the super skilled @miss-sheepy​ who has a fantastic webcomic and amazing art and-- check them out, seriously! Miss Sheepy has been super supportive of my shenanigans since Idrisfall and I was so excited to have Alana show up!! Not only that, but having my other friend @steganoble​ lend me their voice for Alana!! Add a bit of @arcanememory​ (aka my voice acting sister in crime) as Nimbus...! Ah. It was just a warm hug of friendships from everyone involved. QuQ 

With Princess Nimbus deciding to start her own army (and basically recruit her own Brother’s ... well, recruits) Alana is the second member of her little team! The other being Yury (belongs to Stega/Stray as well) whom after Round 3 is... taking a nap. Yes. A nap.) Alana appears in my Round 4 to accompany the Princess outside of the Castle as her guard to confront Adonis before the task.

Ignore the fact the file says Part 07... I had likely miscalculated while writing the scripts how many parts there would be... or was lying to myself and the voice actors about the fact I was taking on more than I could chew.
