... hi. I'm still alive. I'm so sorry for being gone so long, especially right after starting this blog. Basically,,, I'm a serial procrastinator and can motivate myself almsot never, even to things I enjoy. And its extra hard when I want to produce good results. (I assume that's bc of my ADHD) I've been writing on something someone requested and I just didn't like it no matter what I wrote. And I didnt write anything then bc I lost all motivation. But I also promised myself to only return to tumblr after having finished it, so yeah...

It's a hard decision but I've given up. I'm so sorry. I'm not gonna accept requests for anything more than short posts either for now. Still, especially after the Stone Ocean announcement today, I just really wanted to pick this blog back up. So hi!! I'm here. And hopefully I'll stick around a while this time.

adrenaline rush — dio [ part three ] x reader

dio has a particular charm that could sway just about anyone to think in his favour. one could only wonder what was so charming about the man, that would earn him women and men whom would die in his service, whether it be as a blood donor, or graced with a stand.. and killed by failure.

when you fall into his grasp, he's fascinated by how terrified you are of him. like a kicked puppy, you'll try to scurry away from the one you believe will do you harm. but deep down, you would understand there was no escape for you in sight once he's been in your presence.

you will try with all your might to pry the door open and run for your life, but your efforts were good for nothing. your mind would be racing, trying to think of some way to get him to leave you alone, but then his laughter would fill the cold room.

he would stand up from his seat after closing the book his eyes had been trained on, turning to look you in the face. he just loved it how you easily shrunk under his shadow, and your hands would shake in fear.

“ my my.. this is an unfortunate sight.. the little bird has been caught in the lion's den.. ” his voice would echo menacingly in the room, and you would take a step back, raising a dismissive hand. “ please.. i mean you no harm.. ” you would reason.

this would cause the blonde vampire to snicker. “ aw.. i already knew that. what could a small thing like you do to harm me.. hmm? ” he cooed, tossing the book onto the side table. “ now is your turn.. ask a question. ” he prompted.

you clenched your fist, getting angry at his behaviour towards you. “ what do you want from me?! ” aggravation was apparent in your tone, yet your newfound captor merely clicked his tongue, undaunted.

“ you change so quickly.. do you think you're scaring me? that's foolish of you, y/n.. ” he rubbed at his temple. “ now it's my turn again.. why don't you tell me about your stand? since you have travelled with the crusaders.. i will assume you have one of your own. ”

he draped a hand on his hip, chuckling once again. “ but it must not be that strong.. or else they wouldn't have abandoned you.. you poor thing.. ” you frowned and shook your head to oppose his statement. “ no, they wouldn't do that to me.. they're my friends.. ”

dio walked to you, and rested a cold, undead hand on your shoulder. “ friends help friends.. they don't ditch them.. if you'd like, y/n.. ” he gazed down into your eyes, with an amused grin on his face. “ i could be your real friend.. ”

and how could you deny him.. like so many others, you had fell for his charm. it was such a shame how easily you listened to his orders, like you didn't need to think about it at all.

“ did you know that i can't go outside in the daytime, pet?.. ” dio would eventually ask. it was plainly obvious. you knew all sorts of things about vampires.. they were creatures of the night.

you would just lie and shake your head no. that response would entice a hum from him. “ i also have a talent.. i can tell when one is lying to me. there's a peculiar scent that will hit my nose.. it's called adrenaline. if it's a good lie, the scent is strong. but as i smell it now.. it's weak, faint, and a sweet aroma. ” he explains. “ maybe this is because you know not too lie to me too much, is that right, angel? ”

you quickly nod your ahead, fearing what could happen if you didnt agree. he grinned in satisfaction in your answer. “ ah.. good. now.. why i asked you, is because i was testing you. you're a smart individual, so i knew that you could tell me the answer. you're still a bit shy.. ”

he rested his chin against his fist as he said his next statement. “ you're the only bit of sunlight i am allowed to see.. that's why i keep you around. you could even say that i like you. ” he laughed at your blushing face, and the silence that filled the room after he had said that.

he next flipped to the page in his book that he had left off on, with a cheerful sigh. “ that's okay y/n.. we have an eternity to find out how you truly feel toward me.. ”

Hello jojo writing community!

Though my blog has existed for a while, I've finally decided to focus on writing! I've been writing for different things for years now but always like less than a chapter in a few months, and never really published anything. So I'm still very inexperienced. I'm very nervous! I hope you all will enjoy my writing.
