A summer style guide for 2020

Hi everyone, I am new here on Tumblr! I wanted to share ‘A summer style guide for 2020’ with you. I admit that I could not put all because of the max. upload of 10 images. Also, this guide has not to be necessarily equal for everyone; here I only collected some of my ideas and tastes, not everyone could like them. Despite this I hope you will like the post!

skirt

During the last few weeks I saw a lot of influencers wearing these skirts. The first one from the right is blue with white little dots. There are also skirts with floreal patterns that seem really popular as this. In my opinion they are really comfortable, they give you that little shine and are so pretty! The one in the middle is a tight black skirt. It is perfect for a disco night or for an important occasion. ‘Sensual’ and ‘sexy’ describe it perfectly. The last one is the usual ‘tennis girl’ skirt and I can say that I saw it on my Instagram feed for an entire week. White, soft and simple: perfect for a sport event, a casual hangout and with a Ralph Lauren jumper it creates an elegant outfit. It is ‘multifunction’ I would venture to say.

bikini

Only one word for this year: colours! These two bikinis have different ranges of colour that we can explore to find different ways to style them. The trend of this uear are bikinis with long straps that wrap around the torso. They feel like a particularly fresh take on the bikini. (no image) My favourite element of this trend is the versatility of the tops. Not only are they great for the beach, but if you add a skirt or a pair of pants, they can easily transition to a full look.

Originally released in 2005, Prada's Re-Edition Nylon and Saffiano Leather Mini-Bag taps into our collective obsession with nostalgia. While many models and celebrities (read: Bella Hadid) have already been seen toting vintage versions of the bag, Prada's decision to reissue the original design with a few updated 2020 details is certainly proving successful with the fashion set. It fits with everything and its dimensions can satisfy almost everyone.

dress

I would definitely say that white is heaven. Summer is perfect for light colours. Dresses with those braided ends are dope. Also silk dresses, fluffy one and lace dresses would make your 2020 summer.

trousers/shorts

Bike shorts are a Controversial '80s Trend that is Back. A polarizing trend that is now embraced by the style set, all around the world. The style was originally created for functional purposes: to hide marks created by sitting on a bicycle seat for extended periods. Now it is a fashion statement: celebrities as Princess Diana, Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid have worn a pair of them. Also linen beige trousers are perfect after a day at the beach, walking on the sand watching the twilight. This can be styled with a black top and a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1.

shoes

Nike Air Jordan 1 literally exploded on the web. This comfy nike shoes can be found with different ‘personalities’; from blue to red, from pink to orange. Then we have converse or vans (no image of the second one) historical pieces of fashion that you probably have (if not go and buy them!) Finally black boots. I really like them because they can be used on spring with jeans, a white shirt and a leather jacket or on summer with a floreal dress.

This look originally started through a DIY shirt project and an actual bandana with its prominent paisley pattern was used to create a cute little sleeveless top. This instantly blew up and became a major deal in the fashion industry and brands quickly jumped on to the trend. This is an excellent look for the summer months, style your bare neckline with layers of accessories to glam up the look.

The colourful necklace on the left would stand out your tan after a day at the beach. It can be homemade by yourself with little pearls and it is customizible. Gold stands perfectly with anything.
