Easy Halloween/Fall Snacks for regressors!
Hello my lovelies! It's almost fall so i thought I'd share some of my favorite snack ideas me and my papa make :)
🎃 Candy corn softbatch cookies
🎃 No-bake pumpkin pie bars
🎃 Mummy Rice Krispy treats
🎃 Hot Cocoa with Honey
🎃 Halloween candy bark
🎃 White Hot Chocolate
🎃 Caramel Apples (they have easy kits for these in grocery stores!)
🍁 Pumpkin Puppy Chow
🍁 Homemade Peanut butter cups
🍁 Pumpkin Cheesecake truffles (Dosen't taste like cheesecake!)
🍁 Pumpkin Patties (like a soft candy!)
🍁 Oreo Spiders! (Dont worry, theyre cookies dressed as spiders)
Most of these things are soft sweet treats that will liven up your spooky time! Just google them for the recipes and have your cg help you in the kitchen with the stove when needed! Happy cooking my little ones!

Little Ways to Make Selfcare Easier for Littles

🍼 Be little! 🍼
Little you may be more motivated to do certain tasks than big you. If you put yourself in little space and make self care appealing to little you, you might be surprised by the results.
You can:
♡ Use a paci while you shower/bathe 🚿
♡ Take a bubble bath 🛁
(Just be careful if you have body parts that put you at risk for getting a yeast infection! Ph ballanced bubble bath exists, so use it if you can!)
♡ Use bath toys 🛁🐳
♡ Use baby lotion 🧴👶
♡ Use kid’s shampoo, soap, etc. 🧼🧒
♡ Use kid’s toothpaste and toothbrushes 😬
♡ Use small or cute hairbrushes 💇‍♀️
♡ Take a comfort object with you to sleep 🧸
♡ Take ALL OF THE comfort objects with you to sleep! 🧸🐰🐵
♡ Listen to a lullaby or a bedtime story on youtube, or have your carer or a friend sing/read you one 🎶 🛏📖🎶

💙 Keep calm. 💙
Anxiety and intrusive thoughts can be a nightmare when trying to sleep, shower, or bathe. Keeping yourself calm and comfortable can be the key to getting your bed thoughts to leave you alone while you take care of yourself.
💜 Be little. 🍼
Ok, so already mentioned, but it’s worth saying again. Regression is comforting; regression is calming. There’s no shame in going to your little space in order to care for yourself.
🍼 Calm your senses. 💙
Use farmiliar sounds and smells to help you relax. Lavender, vanilla, and cinnamon, soft or slow music, and familiar podcasts, shows, and movies, can help you keep calm. You can:
♡ Use a difuser with essencial oils at night or while spending a lot of time in one place
♡ Use a scented candle
(big space only, and make sure you’re supervising it!)
♡ Use a shower steamer or scented bath bomb/bubble bath
(remember to get ph ballanced bubble bath/bath bombs if you’re at risk for yeast infections!)
♡ Use scented soaps, shampoos, lotions, ect.
♡ Play background music/noise while doing tasks

🥊 Fight forgetfullness! 🥊
💜 Make a selfcare schedule! 📆
Scedule times when you have to take medication, eat, shower, anything you have trouble doing. Then stick to it!
🍼 Have someone remind you! 💬
Show your selfcare schedule to someone you trust, your cg, a friend, a partner, and have them remind you when the time comes!
💜 Remind yourself! 🔔
Set alarms to remind yourself to follow your self care schedule.
🍼 Get a pill box! 💊
If you take medication, you probably know the struggle of trying to remember whether or not you took your meds.
Illiminate that doubt by getting a pill box and filling it up once a week. If the meds are still in the compartment, it means you haven’t taken them yet.
Remember to get one that specifies the day/time you need to take your meds! If you take them twice a day, you’ll need two sections for each day. Make sure you get a box that fits your needs!

Combine your new-found selfcare skills to make them even better!
You can:
♡ Use kids’ and babys’ products with comforting smells
♡ Listen to kids’ shows, movies, or songs
♡ Make a sticker chart for your selfcare schedule
♡ Customize alarms for little you
You can make them say things like, “Time for bed now, little one,” or, “Remember to brush your teeth, Princess!”
♡ Decorate your pill box while in little space or with your little self in mind

Hi! So, I'm not a little, I'm a caregiver, but I'm still getting the hang of all this. Are there any tips you'd give to new caregivers on how to interact with littles? -🗝️
hi there! welcome to the agere/cg community!! super sorry for the late response!! im not great at giving tips but i’ll try my best! ✨
treat age regressors/littles how you would an actual baby/child unless told otherwise! (note this does not mean be condescending/demanding towards them! if that’s how you would treat a kid you shouldn’t be near them or littles!)
be respectful of their boundaries! just like real kids age regressors deserve respect and distance!
kinda obvious but please avoid all nsfw talk! age regression is a (mostly) happy, safe, fun headspace/lifestyle for adults and minors! not a k!nk at all! please don’t confuse it with age pl*y/abdl/ddlg etc. !! many age regressors/littles find those things triggering or just upsetting/uncomfortable!
don’t ever assume an official caregiver role without communicating with your little friend/partner/sibling/child first! again should be obvious but its too important to leave out! communication is key to any healthy relationship/friendship!!
be protective but not overbearing! a lot of littles can defend themselves! again communication is key!
speaking of communication talk to them about their interests!!!! we love talking about our stuffies and favorite shows and stickers and just fun cute stuff! if you ask us questions and listen intently we’ll probably love you forever!!
overall just be kind, patient, & open minded! being a caregiver can be difficult sometimes but you’ll be alright!
