“ANY LAST WORDS?!” | SWTOR Edition
It’s time for an epic confrontation between the antagonist and the PC!
The Bounty Hunter
— The PC, disdainfully: “Take it up with the Jawa.” — The Antagonist: “The wha–” — Blizz, rocketing in from behind: “UTINI~!!”
The Imperial Agent
— The PC, shrugging: “Oh, you’re already dead.” — The Antagonist: “That’s big talk for a worm like you!” — The PC: “No, no – you misunderstand. This isn’t posturing. I’ve got nothing to prove to you and, frankly, no reason to care about proving anything to you in the first place.” — The Antagonist: — The PC: “This is fact, this is truth. And truth can be elusive, I know. It can be often contingent on the disparate perspectives borne by its witnesses. And sometimes it is no more or less than the sum of those perspectives.” — The Antagonist: — The PC: “But sometimes, just sometimes, it’s about a simple progression from Step A to Step B, a chain reaction of events that unfolds according to physics rather than philosophy.” — The Antagonist:  — The PC: “What I’m trying to say is that I poisoned you a good ten minutes ago.”
The Jedi Consular
— The Antagonist, regaining consciousness: “I – what – what happened?” — The PC: “I kicked your ass and tied you up while you were delivering the monologue.” — The Antagonist:  — The PC: “You might consider not delivering the monologue in the future.” — The Antagonist: — The PC, cracking her knuckles: “Now, let’s start with the first line of the Jedi code and work our way down. There is no emotion, there is peace …”
The Jedi Knight
— The PC, drawing her lightsaber: “You can have five minutes to reconsider your terrible decisions.” — The Antagonist: “Never!” — The PC: “… Okay, you can have five more minutes to reconsider your terrible decisions.” — The Antagonist: “Absolutely not!”  — The PC: “Really – just take a moment and think, because you’re acting in the service of a dangerous and damaged ideology right now, and it’s about to get you stabbed. And once I stab you, I can’t un-stab you. So, breathe, focus, think. Just think.” — The Antagonist: “I unconditionally refuse to do that!” — The PC, with a sigh: “Come on, then.”
The Republic Trooper
— The PC, readying her gun: “That’s what they all say.” — The Antagonist: “Yeah, yeah, back-talk, that’s original.” — The PC: “Nah, that’s just what they all say.” — The Antagonist: — The PC: “Jorgan?” — Jorgan: “Yes, sir?” — The PC: “Is that what they all say?” — Jorgan: “To a man, sir.” — The Antagonist:  — The PC: “Thank you, Jorgan. Dorne?” — Dorne: “Yes, sir?” — The PC: “Is that what they all say?” — Dorne: “Every time, sir.” — The Antagonist: “All right, I get it.” — The PC: “Thank you, Dorne. Yuun?” — Yuun: [Yes, sir?] — The PC: “Is that what they all say?” — Yuun: [Affirmative, sir.] — The Antagonist: “You’ve made your point.” — The PC: “So are you gonna surrender, or am I gonna have to shoot you?” — The Antagonist: “Death before surrender.” — The PC: “Death it is, then.”
The Sith Inquisitor
— The PC: “Hang on, let me ask my ghosts.” — The Antagonist: “… huh?” — The PC, putting a hand to her head: “Shh, I’m trying to listen here.” — The Antagonist: — The PC:  — The Antagonist:  — The PC:  — The Antagonist: “Okay, what are you doing?” — PC: “Hold on a sec, man.” — The Antagonist: — The PC: “Okay, here we go. Ergast wants to cordially invite you to go fuck yourself – those were his exact words. Yes, I used the exact words, you just heard me, Ergast, come now. Andru has a couple of mocking observations about your outfit, which I can sum up as ‘it’s pretty bad.’ And I agree, that is not your color.” — The Antagonist: — The PC: “Kalatosh would like to critique your intimidation skills: in his day people actually put effort into their threats instead of recycling the same old lines over and over and over again, and he’s pretty sure that’s the result of children being raised on holodramas in this corrupt and decadent modern age. You remind Horak-Mul of someone he crossed paths with a few times in his day, mostly because of your accent, which he’s surprised is still around. — The Antagonist: — The PC: “Oh, and said path-crossing ended in evisceration, so, well, there’s that. And then there’s Mar-Da, and Mar-Da wants to please go back to Voss. He’s very sorry for his defiance, and, honestly, he should be.” — The Antagonist:   — The PC: “As for me, well, these won’t be my last words because I’m going to electrocute you now.” — The Antagonist: — The PC, brightly: “And with all that said, I’m going to electrocute you now.”
The Sith Warrior
— The PC, approaching:  — The Antagonist: “… I said, any last words?” — The PC, approaching:  — The Antagonist: “… um …” — The PC, drawing near:  — The Antagonist, taking a step or two back: “… hey, now.” — The PC: — The Antagonist:  — The PC, quietly: “This is the part where you beg me for mercy.”
The Underworld Smuggler
— The PC: “What?” — The Antagonist: “I said, ANY LAST WORDS?!” — The PC: “What?” — The Antagonist: “What?” — The PC: “What?” — The Antagonist: “I said–” — The PC: “Something about birds?” — The Antagonist: “No, words, words.” — The PC: “Oh. Curds. Gotcha.” — The Antagonist: “No. I – what’s going on here? Can you – can you just not hear me, or –” — The PC, smirking: “Oh, no, no, I can hear you just fine, dude. I’m just messing with you.” — The Antagonist: “…” — The PC: “You can stab him now, Akaavi.”

Was thinking about my OC Jayla Sunrider and decided to make her master, Jedi Praven just for the sake of it. Or as close to Praven as I could manage in the cc

My double agent chiss from SWtOR Elod'al'teris [Dalter] From my personal feelings on playthrough, the Imperial Agent story arc in SWToR is canonically tailored to a default human entirely loyal to the Sith Empire, but I had fun playing this story as Chiss. His original armor in the game has more details, but I changed its design because I wanted to bring it closer to the minimalistic style of SW.

Returning to Tatooine was never going to be a happy affair for Cipher 16.
This is a redraw of a really really old comic I did like 10 years ago?? Man time does fly. I thought it'd be fun to do it justice :D

finally: my main girl is finished! <333
and with Terrin done, all eight of my main story OCs finally have their refs!
I'll post them as a set in a bit, I noticed an error I need to fix on Aaz'n's, and I'll probably make a small edit to Leo's so her lightsaber is on the main part of their ref instead of the naked base

“plot armor” is so funny as an idea. I can’t believe the author used this character in a thematically coherent way instead of killing them off randomly in the fourth chapter…

A bit of a confession
I've...somewhat outgrown Theron Shan. I don't hate him as a character and he was my closet key, but I came to the realization I'm not as obsessed over him as I thought I was.
So, for Artek, he's been demoted from Love Interest. Instead, a character with 0 romance options will take his place as my Knight's love interest...

The Smuggler story has a villain problem. Or, more accurately, it has a villains problem. It collects them, and then focuses on the least personal out of the collection. It’s a baffling decision that makes me think that either something was left on the cutting room floor (so to speak) or the writer(s) had a very different idea of what makes for compelling conflict than I do.
Most (all?) of the storylines have multiple antagonists/villains, but they tend to deal with them as they come up, not gather them like Pokemon. (For example, the Agent story has the Eagle (and Jadus) in Chapter One, Ardun Kothe and co in Chapter Two, and Hunter and the Star Cabal in Chapter Three – only Hunter carries over from a previous chapter and he’s a very personal antagonist.) The Smuggler has Skavak in Chapter One, the Voidwolf (and Darmas and Dodonna) in Chapter Two and Three, with Rogun in the background in all the chapters. It goes from the only actually personal villain (Skavak) to some guy who just kind of acts like you should consider it personal and two people who could be personal but are largely ignored. (And does a strange and illogical retcon on Rogun.)
I propose four possible rewrites of the Smuggler story that would make for more compelling protagonist/antagonist conflict:
1) It’s All Darmas, Baby
2) The Voidwolf is an Actual Goddamn Privateer
3) Ulterior Motives Abound
4) Rogun, Criminal Mastermind
(There are other things I’d change about the Smuggler story, but these are primarily focusing on the antagonist issue.)
