Flowers // Skyrim x Reader.
Tumblr media
Ulfric calls you his winter rose.
Snow swirls over all the beautiful world outside, softly and slowly dancing across the vast gray sky. It won’t be long before Ulfric is forced to get up and see to his duties…a jarl’s work sees no end after all and he has so many things to attend to. But for now…
For now it’s just you and him.
From the window, he can hear the sounds of the city, his people wide awake and working, guards marching, a few children laughing as they ran through the snow.
But the sound of your slow, soft breathing was far sweeter to him. Nestled by his side, you were tucked carefully into the many blankets and furs (he’d hunted for them himself when you agreed to marry him, wanting to keep you safe and warm). Rolling over in the thick blankets, Ulfric presses his nude body against your own, thoughts of the night before flashing through his mind.
The sweet touch of your lips on his, hands wandering across flushed skin, hips pressing to hips in a frenzied passion!
And as though you remembered it too, you sighed softly and smiled as his lips pressed to your neck.
“My winter rose…”
Rough hands ran along your body softly, squeezing your thighs and breasts.
“Stay with me.” He whispered. “Stay just a little bit longer.”
Oh, you couldn’t refuse him!
Turning in his embrace, your wrapped your arms around his shoulders and pressed your lips to his own in the softest of kisses.
It’s official: the jarl is not getting out of bed for a good, long while.
Throughout the day, he’ll have that serious look on his face, holding himself tall and strong…but right now he is soft and he is yours, sighing as your hands tug at his blonde curls. He mumbls something sweet against your skin and drowns in the glory of you.
“My love…”
Tumblr media
Ralof calls you his wildflower.
A sweet breeze slips over the flower fields, larkspurs and everlasting flowers swaying in the breeze. For this one moment, the world is calm.
Everything is perfect.
It almost feels that there is no looming danger, no war burning through the country. Just this. Just moment, this happiness, this love. Ralof pulled you a little bit closer, holding you to his chest. Like this, he could feel each breath and beat of your heart.
“Wildflower…”
You couldn’t stay here forever, you both knew that.
Time would go on. Duties would pull him away from you.
But for now…
For now he had the flowers and the sunlight and, best of all, he had you. Ralof kissed your neck, your laughter echoing in the air.
Flowers are tangled in his blond curls, blue and red mountain flowers and lavender and wild violets woven for carefully. He must look so silly but he feels like a king as you sit on his lap and kiss him, lips trailing along his neck and face. The sun is bright but starting to weaken, night coming along quickly…he must make a fire beside the tent to keep you warm through the night, a dinner of stew and bread awaiting you both (he doesn’t know that you snuck along an apple pi and juniper berry mead as a sweet surprise).
But that could all wait.
With his hands resting on your hips, Ralof held you close as he fell back on the soft earth, your laughter filling the air. Pulling you into a deep kiss and at once you’re falling into him, kissing him back with everything you had.
Pulling away, his bright eyes (so blue, bluer then the sky) glow as he looks up at you. You, he thinks, are the most perfect thing in creation…and you’re all his!
“I love you.”
Tumblr media
Hadvar calls you his snowdrop.
Moonlight slips through the bare trees, shining over the snow. Heavy footsteps crunch through the snow, hurrying to get home.
Hurrying to get to you.
A little cottage, small and cozy, sat tucked in the trees and drenched in snow. The wooden fence creaked in the wind as Hadvar stumbled through the snow. Before he could reach the house, the door opened and light flooded the night.
“Snowdrop!”
There you were, standing before him. The fire light glows around you for a brief moment, making you look like magic.
Hadvar smiled happily, rushing towards you, stumbling and laughing.
And you’re running too, the powder snow flying all around you in wild puffs of icy white. Together you find one another, with you stumbling into his strong arms (but he catches you before you fall, Hadvar always catches you). Sweeping you into his arms, Hadvar fell back in the snow and brought you with him. Though he was freezing cold, he had never felt so happy.
“Oh, I’ve missed you!”
“I’ve missed you too,” he replies.
He carries you home, covered in snow but not feeling the cold. It feels as though he’s too happy to be cold, carrying you against his chest as you cover him with kisses.
Home.
The little house he built for you, tucked on the edge of the village and half-hidden in the trees. The place he’s been dreaming of for so, so long…home! He’s here now, falling onto the heap of pillows and blankets by the fire, with you beneath him. Finally.
Leaning low, his forehead presses against yours as he sighs. The feel and touch and scent of you comforts Hadvar in ways he cannot describe, oh, his love! His darling!
After so long of dreaming of it, Hadvar does the thing he’s only been dreaming of:
He kisses you.
Rough hands play with your hair as his lips press to yours, softly for a heartbeat before deepening into something deep and wonderful and perfect.
“Oh, my love…”
Tumblr media
Farkas calls you his sunflower. Laughter rings through the air as you dance in the sunlight, smiling so sweetly. He smiles at you, wondering how one person can be so lovely.
So perfect.
Leaning against the rough trunk of a tree, he almost couldn’t believe it. That you were his…that you loved him as much as he loved you. But it was all true and your love was all his.
“Sunflower, come here…”
You stopped dancing and came to him, falling into his outstretched arms at once.
Farkas chuckled deeply, almost like a growl, as he nuzzled your neck. He kissed and bit your sweet skin gently, grinning as you laughed.
Oh, he loved that little laugh! He loved you!
Taking your hand, he spins you about and wonders how he became so lucky as to call someone like you his very own…he must have done something quite wonderful for the gods to reward him with a gift such as this!
You’re humming some unnamed, wordless song beneath your breath as you danced with him, movements mi miked so perfectly.
That was something wonderful about this.
It was as though you were somehow built just for Farkas. He didn’t have to speak for you to know what he meant or needed, you had a way of sensing it. Being with you was simply…being.
Being happy, being fulfilled, being loved.
It was everything he’s ever wanted. You were everything he’d ever wanted.
Smiling so happily, Farkas lead you somewhere far, far away. Here the trees were gnarled and twisted together, streams of sunlight just barely slipping through the smothered air. There were no interruptions, the rest of the world was so far away. There was no danger for he would protect you from anything. Just love.
Just his sunflower.
Dancing with you in his arms, Farkas leaned low and stole the sweetest of kisses from your lips, tasting the honey of your love upon them.
“You’re so perfect…”
Tumblr media
Brynjolf calls you his red rose. Walking through the crowded streets, he cannot help but steal glances at you (among other things of course).
What a pretty thing you are!
He had been flirting with you for quite a while, making little flirtations and giving you looks…he just couldn’t help himself! Brynjolf passed by a little flower cart, stealing a bright bloom as he did. Before you had even noticed him, he’d slipped by and tucked the flower into your hair.
“My red rose!”
You’re rolling your eyes and acting like he’s just a flirtatious fool…but you don’t toss away the rose. In fact, you keep every rose that he gives you. The one he leaves on your pillow when he has to sneak away before you wake up one morning; all of the ones he leaves with a little notes asking you to sneak away with him; and the one he gives you now.
Plucked free of thorns, you hold the flower between your fingers as you kiss Brynjolf deeply.
The thief had stolen far more then gold and jewels and flowers…he had managed to steal your heart too, a treasure that he was never planning on returning.
It was perfectly fine, though.
He’d given you his heart in exchange after all.
Rough hands wrapped around your waist and pulled you close, stealing another kiss. For now, hidden in some dark corner of the city, you were his and he was yours…the thief would have to flee before daylight but in the night, he could kiss you for a little longer.
“Kiss me again!”
Tumblr media
Vilkas calls you his sweet flower. A hand wraps around your own, holding you close to his chest. The day has been long and hard but the night…
The night is perfect.
It seems almost as though the night belongs to the both of you, all of the stars and the moon itself. Silver light slipped through the window, shining upon the rough sheets and your naked forms.
“Sweet little flower!”
It’s what you are to him.
Sweet and pretty and perfect, nothing like him. While he was gruff and scarred and angry, you were a calming presence; a sweet love.
It is almost unbelievable to him that someone as perfect as you would want to be with someone like him…but you did. You, by some miracle, are laying beside him in bed, your hair spilled out along the sheets and your body so close to his. His chest is pressed to your back, a battle-scarred hand trailing lazy drawings across bare skin.
You sigh at his touch, a grin gracing his face.
Rolling over in his embrace, you press yourself closer, as though you would not be separated from your lover, and reached up.
The touch of your hands was gentle. Trailing along scruffy jaw, your hands moved back and into his thick hair, tugging on the dark strands softly. Unable to contain himself, Vilkas leaned low and kissed you softly.
Soon, morning would come.
The sun would rise and with it would come a new day, with new quests and new dangers. But for now, it was only the two of you.
“My sweet…”
Tumblr media
Scouts-Many-Marshes calls you his water lily. The water in pleasantly cool, soft splashes echoing through the night. You are laughing, shaking droplets from your hair as he swims forward.
Closer and closer he comes…
Scaled hands grasped your ankles softly, traveling up your thighs and belly as he pulled you close to him. Bobbing in the water, he nibbled at your neck as you sighed happily.
“Oh, water lily!”
How he loved to tease you!
To live so happily, you both had to work so hard…so he kept hold of moments like this. No work, no fighting, no fear. No one but the two of you, nothing but this love. Pressing himself close, you are trapped between the pond’s edge and his body, a place that you certainly do not mind being at all.
Nipping and kissing your skin, you sigh softly as your arms wrap around him.
He’s losing himself in you, heart racing like a thunderstorm, and just about to steal another kiss when you slip away once more.
Diving into the cool waters, the Argonian laughs, the soft sound echoing.
Silly flower! Do you really think that you could ever out-swim him? Not a chance, not even the smallest of one!
There’s barely a ripple as he slips into the waters, his bright eyes searching you out. And once he sets his sight upon you, he goes exactly for what he wants. It isn’t long before he’s got you in his grasp, bursting from the water as he holds you tight. Again and again he kisses you, taking his sweet time with you.
Soon, you would be off on an adventure again and he would be left worrying about you.
But for now he had you all to himself. No dragons to slay, no monsters to fight or treasures to claim. His water lily was all his, safe in their little nest.
“Mine~”
Tumblr media
Balimund calls you his silver rose. The blacksmith works away, fire burning and metal smoldering as he creates another beautiful blade.
Beautiful…but not as much as you.
Hours later, his work is done. Tired and sweaty, Balimund leaned back and examined his latest creation. Pride bubbled in his chest, the slightest of grins on his face. But it wasn’t the blade that had him smiling…it was something else.
“Silver rose…”
There you were!
Asleep in the comfortable chair he’d built for you (there’s a twin seat beside it, set in front of the fire place so that you might sit together during the long winter nights and talk and read and just be together), you sigh softly…and he cannot help but stop and stare, utterly enamored with you…perfect, darling you!
“Come now,” he grumbles quietly.
Picking you up, Balimund carried you up the steps and into the bedroom. Through the house he’d built for the two of you he walked, struck by little memories.
The book he’d first seen you reading one fine summer day, tucked along the shelf.
Weapons he’d made you, crafted so perfectly.
Treasures from your many adventures scattered along.
And yours names etched into the wooden headboard, intertwined within a somewhat crooked heart.
Running his rough hands along the familiar carving, Balimund looked down at your slumbering form and smiled.
“Bali…?”
The sound of your voice was more then enough to bring the blacksmith to bed. Soon he had stripped and joined you int bed, snuggling alongside you (just where he was meant to be) and falling into another dream of you…
“Sleep well, my rose…”
Tumblr media
J'zargo calls you his poppy. Sunshine slips through the tent, bathing you in warm golden rays. Sneaking away like this had been such a good idea.
In fact, it has been perfect.
He’d been needing a little alone time with you, craving your presence more then anything else.
All night you had laughed and talked, before falling into the tent for a night of wild passion. But now the morning had come, sunlight streaming against your bodies. He purred happily,
“Oh, poppy!”
The sound of his voice has you smiling (the man has you in the palm of his hand and you both know it, he’s so damn smug about it too), grumbling grumpily (and somehow happily at the same time) as you roll over.
“Wake, my darling, wake!” he purrs, lips on your neck.
He’s pressing himself closer beneath the worn out quilt (he still remembered buying it so that it may be placed upon your marriage bed as you spent the first night together), bodies tangled together so perfectly. Careful, always so careful, of his claws, J’zargo runs his hands along your body and teases your gently.
“If you wake for me…I’ll give you a present!”
“Oh?”
Laughing softly, his lips kiss up and up and up your neck, curling along to meet your jaw as you sigh so happily.
“I’m awake…and I want my present.”
Quick as a whip, J’zargo was on top of you, kneeling over you as he hands dug into the patched-up pillows. A playful growl escaped his lips and your arms wrapped around him, smiling so happily. Oh, you were so beautiful! His greatest treasure!
Taking a moment to bask in your beauty, J’zargo quickly claimed your lips in a deep, wonderful kiss as you moaned beneath him.
“Come here, my poppy.”

———————————————————————————————————–
You shuffled into the bedroom quietly, your feet brushing against the cold stone beneath you.
You hardly saw a thing in front of you with the candle, holding out a hand as you led yourself to the bed.
You still couldn’t quite describe the feeling overwhelming you.
Maybe surprise?
Were you sad?
Were you happy?
You didn’t know.
You sat down, setting the candle down on the nightstand, gasping as you heard a sudden shifting in the bed, an arm wrapping around your waist.
“Where were you…?” Your husband mumbled, his words drowsy and long. “I’d almost thought you’d gone dragon hunting.”
“I’m not that insane.” You chuckled, turning your head to him, his eyes barely opened, still somehow managing a smile as you looked at him.
“Where were you then?” He asked again sleepily, sitting up. “You’re usually more tired than I am.”
“I uh…” You held your breath, your gaze darting nervously towards anywhere but Ulfric. “I was just…wandering.”
“Because I know how much you adore the palace,” He laughed softly. “Come on, I know you better than to believe that.”
“What? I just love the…stone…and snow and-”
“Love…” He mumbled, bits of his blonde hair stringing about his face. “would you mind telling me the truth yet or are we going to keep this up?”
You furrowed your brow, air overwhelming you as if you may burst.
“Do you really want to know?”
“What do you mean?” He lips became sewn in a frown, taking your hand in his own worriedly. “What happened?”
You almost forced it out, grabbing his hand as if you may break it.
And you answered.
“I’m pregnant.”
He lit up like a fire.
He nearly burst from the bed, wrapping around and entangling you in his arms, sweeping you off your feet.
“That’s wonderful!” He chimed, holding close as though you may fade with the next breeze. “We’re going to have ourselves a little warrior!”
“Y-Yeah!” You beamed, a soft sigh of relief echoing from you as he set you down. “I…I guess we are.”
“Aren’t you excited?” He questioned, tipping his forehead against your own. “We’re going to be a family! This…This is a blessing from Talos himself…!”
“I just…I-I didn’t know,” You shrugged scrunching up your nose. “I-I mean look at me! Think of what I’ve done-what kind of parent could I even be is all…”
“All you’ve done?”
“It’s just-” You huffed, your stomach tangling into awful knots. “like you said I go dragon hunting and I fight in wars I don’t-but I don’t know how I can raise a child…!”
“Slow down, look at me dear,” He hummed, his palm raising to hold your cheek. “I…I never thought in my wildest dreams that this would be happening. I thought I’d die long before the thought even came in my head. But…if I’ve learned anything since I’ve met you it’s that impossible things-aren’t quite as impossible as I thought.”
“What do you mean?”
“Everything about you it’s-it’s impossible,” He confessed, his words barely above a whisper. “Being Dragonborn, defeating Alduin, reviving Skyrim-as it should be-”
He scoffed, trying to hide the bits of red that came to his face.
He let out a deep breath, flustered. “You even somehow managed to fall in love  with perhaps the most stubborn Nord alive.”
You snickered, burying your head in the crook of his neck.
“And if you can do that many insane things-then I know-I know that you can be an amazing parent.”
“You really think so?”
“Absolutely,” He grinned. “I’m very firm in my opinions.”
“Then…then we can do this…together…right?”
He smiled from ear to ear, pressing a fond kiss to your lips, unable to wipe away his delight no matter how hard he tried.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

He found himself wandering the forest, heading in no particular direction in his mind but it seemed as if his feet were guiding him… No his heart was guiding him somewhere. Kingswood was known for being mystical, all knowing and mysterious. People entered and never came back. Is that what will happen to him? Will he disappear? His feet continued to guide him through the tall grass. The world was silent around him, peaceful for once. Was he dead? He would’ve been okay with that thought. Truly… He would no longer be in pain, he would no longer feel the need to be in competition and he wouldn’t feel the need to fight for his fathers attention.
Though it felt like he was walking for hours, it was only mere minutes. ‘Aemond, stop and look up.’ A voice spoke to him. It was… his voice? Something within him seemed to be guiding him towards a space. His heart felt like it was guiding him. He took a glance up and discovered a stone wall that sat on the top of the hill. Aemond has heard of these stones before but he knew there wasn’t much written about them despite their long history in the forest. It was The Stone of Many a Moon. The reason why there wasn’t much written on them was because well… they would disappear. It seemed as if something didn’t want them to be discovered more than they were known. ‘Go up. She’s scared.’
Scared? Who was scared and why would she be scared. He walked up the small hill, up towards the wall. He heard whimpers and sensed movement coming from along the stones, curled up in the tall, green grass. He went to place a hand on the hilt of his sword but all he was met was open space. Why would he go in the forest without protection? “Hello? I know you’re there.”
At the sound of his voice, a head perched up and he was met with wide, scared eyes. Your wide eyes stared into him and softened for a slight second. He watched at you scrambled up to your feet. You were wearing a black slip dress with a black shall. He thought that your clothing was quite weird, the way you looked was weird. When you finally stood up, you practically stumbled towards him, as if you were a baby deer learning to walk. He quickly grabbed you by your arms as you fell into him. “H-Help me! I… I don’t know where I am or how I got here.” You had tears falling down your cheek.
He had this urge to protect you, shield you from the world. He brought you into his arms and stroked your hair. Why was he doing this. “I got you, don’t worry.”
Aemond woke up in a start, a thin layer of sweat covered his skin despite the crisp morning air from outside his tent. He brought his hands up towards his face and tried rubbing the sleep away before sighing. Who was this woman? Was he suppose to know her? His heart called out for her and broke when he saw her terrified. She was beautiful. No… She was ethereal. His thoughts were cut short with the voice of his mothers sworn protector calling to him. “Good morrow, My Prince. I have been sent to come get you as the hunt will begin soon.”
“Thank you, Ser Criston. I will get ready shortly and meet everyone at the forest line.” He advised the knight. “Please get my horse ready.”
The words ‘Go up, she’s scared’ replayed in his mind. What if she was actually in the forest, surrounded by The Stone of Many a Moon, scared and alone? Just having that thought caused his chest to tighten in sorrow. He shook his head away the thoughts as he decided to get out of his bed and finally get dressed. He made his way to his clothing trunk and took out his gear. He shrugged on his black linen tunic with a matching pair of black linen pants. He grabbed his forest green cotton jacket made with padding to protect him. He grabbed his sword, belt and placed his eyepatch over his scarred eye before he exited his tent.
Upon exiting, he was met with the lady in waiting of his mother bowing to him. “Hello, My Prince. I hope you slept well. I am aware that you are on your way to the hunt but The Queen has requested me to serve you a bowl of fruits and oatmeal before you go. She does not want you to faint.” Her arms stretched out towards Aemond to hand him the bowl.
He stared at it for a quick moment before grabbing it. “Thank you. Please advise my mother that I will visit her once the hunt is over.” He heard the lady in waiting softly speak ‘Yes, My Prince.’ before he made his to the forest like whilst eating the bowl that was provided to him. He felt this pull towards the forest, a yearning to go find her. Perhaps that is why he had agreed to join the hunt. Upon arriving with the other men, he threw the empty bowl onto the floor and made his way towards the Knight. Upon taking the reign from him, he pondered. “Criston, what do you know of The Stones of Many a Moon?”
He gave the prince a look, wondering why he was being asked this question. “Not much, My Prince. In Dorne, it is said to be protected by magic, a gate to something that people are not quite sure. It is known to be on a hill in this forest but it is not quite sure where.” Ser Criston watched as Aemond climbed his horse. “Why are you asking?”
A smirk played on the one eyed princes lips. “We shall leave the hunt for the brutes, Ser Criston, we are on a journey to find this monument.”
“I’m sorry, what?”
“Mount your damn horse and follow me. If you must need a reason, I shall give you one… away from these damn men.” Aemond clicked, allowing his Black Mare to start the journey towards his dream.
Tumblr media
The white cloaked knight followed swiftly behind the silver haired prince. With the prying ears away from their conversations, all formalities were dropped. “Now Aemond, please tell me why we are on this wild search.” An hour into the ride, Criston had finally broken the silence.
Still keeping this eyes forward, he explained what he had dreamed and what it has caused him to feel. “Well Criston, the past two nights I have had this dream which was surrounded by these stones. There is this woman… Her beauty is beyond this world. There is someone who urges me to go to her and save her. That someone may be myself. She is scared and alone.” He paused for a moment, waiting to see if Criston would say something. “Upon meeting each other, she falls into my arms. She is lost. All I want to do, my heart wants to do is hold her and protect her.”
“So you dragging me into a wild goose chase over a dream?” Criston scoffed. “Are you even sure she is real?”
A laugh danced on Aemonds lips. “I am as sure as my dear brother is a drunk.”
As soon as the conversation started, it quickly ended.
He couldn’t get your face out of his mind. He wanted to cradle your face in the palm of his hand and wipe your tears away. He wanted to take your fear away and tuck them away, out of sight.
‘Aemond, continue forward. You are near.’ The voice made him stop his horse and look at his surroundings. It was the first time he has heard the voice outside of his dreams. ‘Help me.’ It was your voice. “Criston, we must make haste. We are near.”
“And did the voices tell you that?”
“My Gods… Will you shut up.” Aemond laughed.
Criston pointed straight ahead. “The voices in my head say that there is a hill up there. Oh wait! They also say that you are slightly crazy!”
Before Aemond could respond with something witty, he felt a shift in the air. His eyes grazed over the land before he spotted it. He spotted the White Hart. The King of the Forest bowed towards the prince before turning around and walking back from where he came from. ‘Time travels back and is protected by the White King.’ A deep voice whispered. It was not his voice or anyone he would know. This was his chance. Before even warning his companion, Aemond sprung out of the saddle and pushed his weight down on the stirrup, applying pressure to get his horse into a full gallop. He heard his name being yelled in the background but he did care, all he wanted to do was find you. He couldn’t help but feel free for the first time. He was doing something he wanted to do, not something of duty or how it would make his family look.
The Black Mare suddenly slowed down upon nearing a small hill, Aemond tapped his foot on the side of the horse but it refused to move, as if something was not allowing it to continue. He raised his head to look up the hill and his eyes later upon the White King once again. It was beckoning him to follow. The Stones were up there, he knew it. He dismounted his horse and ran up the hill. His heart was pounding in his chest, knocking on his rib cage, feeling like it would rip out at any moment.
Just like in his dream, he felt her presence from behind the stones, he saw the tall grass dance in the wind and he spotted her. She was curled in a ball, the grass covering her from any harm as if it were her safety blanket. He took a moment to take a deep breath before speaking, his voice shaking from anticipation. “Hello? I know you’re there. Please come out.”
At the sound of his voice, he saw a head perch up, eyes wide with fear and confusion. It truly was you. His dream could not depict your true beauty but his eyes could truly see it. You were other worldly. He watch you stumble onto your feet and run towards him, practically falling into his arms. He wrapped his arms around you, one around you waist and the other holding your head. “It’s you.” You whispered, soft as air.
“It’s me.”
Aemond looked over your shoulder to see the White Hart bow down, make a whining noise before running back into the woods.

Kingswood Night Prior
You stumbled back, hands shaking from the shift of energy that exited you “Oh Gods, what did I do?” You couldn’t help the shake in your voice. The world around you was darker, the stars brighter than before.
You backed away from the stones, wondering what your next move would be. You weren’t far from the Hotel, right? Maybe if you screamed loud enough, someone will you hear you and find you. That was the plan… Scream. “Someone! Please! I’m lost a-and I don’t know where I am!” You pulled your shall over you to protect you from the cold wind of the night, reminding you just how lonely you were. “Please! Help!” You had realized you brought your bag with you since you packed the flashlight. You begun to scramble for the bag, having no luck finding it. “Please don’t say I dropped it… Please oh Gods.”
Tears of frustration began to fall down your cheeks, you were scared and alone and you weren’t sure what your next game plan was. Talia would tell the teacher you were missing right? That’s what you told her to do. Were you stupid and decided to find your way out? Of course you were. The only way you could decide on which way to go was by doing a stupid game; you were going was you closed your eyes, pointed an arm out and spin until you got dizzy and stopped. Once you finished spinning and looked at where your arm was, that was where you were heading. “Stupid Y/N. You just had to go into the stupid forest and get lost. Now you have decided to get more lost in the forest. Fuck me.” You wiped your tears away and started carefully walking. “What if I get mulled by a bear or attacked by a boar… Gods, I’m going to die here.”
‘Y/N, go back.’
You whipped your head back, looking for the voice. “No! You are the reason I’m in this mess.” You seethed. “Maybe Talia was right. Maybe I am crazy. I’m losing it.” You tried ignoring the voice telling you to go back and continued on your route. Every couple of seconds, you would spot the silver haired man, the voices were getting all muddled together. You clutched your ears, crying “Stop!” You tried to running until you collided with a hard being. It was soft to the touch and you could just barely see that it was white under the moonlight. You took a step back and looked up and saw that before you was a beautiful White Hart. His fur was a beautiful silvery white and his eyes were two different colours, the right was a beautiful violet and the left was a deep blue, like a sapphire. It huffed a deep breath and bent down slightly to bump its snout against your shoulder, as if it was trying to push you back. You took a couple of more steps back and tried to walk around the beautiful beast but with each step you took, it blocked you. “Come on! What do you want.”
The Stag did a deep roar before pushing you back with his snout in the direction you came from. You spoke to him, as if he could understand you. “Do you want me to go back? Im trying to find my way out of this damn forest.” It took a few seconds before the Stag did a movement that could only be described as a nod. Okay so he could understand you. “Okay! Fine I guess.” You turned around and started walking back in the direction of the stones, and you kept looking over your shoulder to see if the Stag was following you and it was. ‘Right choice, go back and wait.’ You groaned. “Oh shut up!”
On the walk back, you felt as if there was this film covering your eyes and a heavy blanket was laid over you. You felt as if you were sleep walking. The only thing allowing you to know that you weren’t yet asleep was the warmth radiating from the Hart standing behind you. The last thing you can remember was laying down in the tall grass and feeling the soft fur envelope you like a hug.
The wind blew was blowing through your hair and a laugh bubbled from between your lips. There was a tight hold around your waist to keep you from falling from the great height you were flying. “I wish I could have experienced this feeling sooner, Aemond!”
Was that the man’s name?
You felt his chin rest on your shoulder and whispered sweetly in your ear. “You can experience this feeling for the rest of your life… As long as I am alive, you shall experience this feeling, ñuha jorrāelagon.” He placed a sweet kiss just below your ear.
All you felt was freedom, peace and love.
The warmth was cradled you all night was gone and you were left feeling the cool morning wind hugging you uncomfortably. Was the whole night just a dream? You tried curling up into a tight ball to try and perverse heat. You were alone… Again? You felt the fear creep back up through your throat and all you wanted to do was cry in the ball you held yourself in. The only thing going through your mind was that you were going to die here but that solemn thoughtwas cut short when you heard the voice you had been hearing since coming to Kings Landing. “Hello? I know you’re there. Please come out.” That voice. It didn’t even take you a split second before you swung your head up from the tall grass. You felt a wave of relief wash over you as your wide eyes met with his beautiful violet eye. He was truly beautiful, as if hand crafted from the Gods above. You stumbled onto your feet, practically tripping over them, before falling into his arms. You’ve only seen this man following you like a ghost but it felt right to hold him. He felt like home. You let out a shaky breath that you didn’t know you were holding. “It’s you.”
You felt him hold onto you for dear life, as if he had the same feeling as you. “It’s me.”

Alec Lightwood's 6 step plan to marry Magnus Bane
(Okay, but if Alec had been a bit more of the "pursuer" at the start, he would have definitely made plans like this)
How to secure a date with the High Warlock of Brooklyn
Step 1: Casually ask him if he wants to grab a cup of coffee.
Step 2: Find a way to make Izzy stop laughing because you accidentally proposed instead of asking Magnus out for coffee.
Step 3: Try to not propose again after Magnus suggested going on a date first.
Step 4: Fail to follow step 3.
Step 5: Overhaul the Clave and their laws that discourage same sex relationships and relationships with downworlders in general, because Magnus said yes!
Step 6: Marry Magnus.

2024 AC Kings Landing
So this was the magical Kings Landing? Once the vast and lively city was now a place of desolation, solitude and history. It had been like this ever since the burning in 305 A.C between two Queens. You read about how it was a horrible event, many innocent people lost their lives… Even the two Queens. Since that moment, no more Targaryens roamed Westeros. It was now a place of history and learning. Most teachers brought their students here to see what they were being taught. Some parents dragged their kids here to learn of their heritage.
You were here for the first reason.
Being in your second year of Vale University, you were studying History and Literature. What were you going to with that degree? You have no idea but at least you were enjoying yourself… For the most part. “The Red Keep took many years to complete. Three reigns to be exact. What started on Aegon’s High Hill names Aegonfort. King Aegon the First used this fort as his seat during the conquest, housing the impeccable Iron Throne. Though it was destroyed in the battle of Kings Landing, paintings portrayed this throne as huge and intimidating.” Your group followed your professor as she guided everyone at the base of what the humongous Keep used to be. You looked around, red brick scattered over the floor. You mind raced as you thought of how these bricks were over 2000 years old, millions of people have touched them and now they were scattered all over the dirt floor. “It isn’t said when but at some point after the Conquest, the King ordered the destruction of the Fort and the construction of the Red Keep began. It was said that Aegon requested the castle be built with red rock to remind people of the fire he roasted and the blood he shed of his enemies, so whenever King’s Landing looked up they’d see the price of defiance.”
Your professor continued to talk but the sound of nature around you drowned it out. The sound of buzzing getting louder in your ear, getting louder and louder. “Ugh! You don’t hear that?” You brought your finger to your ears and tried wiggling it around to see if there was anything there.
“Hear what?” Your friend, Talia, said as she leaned in.
“That stupid buzzing sound. It won’t stop.” You groaned as you continued with your ear.
Your friend gave you a weird look. “I just think you’re going crazy. There is nothing.”
The buzzing softened and turned into a soft whisper, softer than wind. “Y/N… Darling… Y/N.”
You whipped your head back, trying to find the source of the noise. “Please told me heard that!” Before Talia could respond, your professor spoke faster. “Is there something you would like to add, Miss Y/N?”
Your face went beat red from embarrassment. “No ma’am… Sorry.” You said sheepishly.
“Thank you. Now where was I? Ah yes. The start of the fall of the Targaryens, it started when…” You started to zone out and looked back behind you, trying to figure out where the whisper came from. From the bottom of the hill, you spotted a man sporting an eyepatch, long silver hair and cladded in leather. He had his arm extended out towards you, as if he was waiting for you to come and grab it, calling you to run away with him but just as fast as you spotted him, he disappeared.
You felt your arm being grabbed and a hand stroke your upper arm. You turned towards Talia, who wore a worried look. “Is everything okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
You shook your head and ran a hand through your hair. “Yea… Yes. I’m good.” You grasped her hand that was on your upper arm. “Let’s just get this tour over with. It’s giving me the heebie jeebies.”
“You got that right.” She agreed. “But I heard that the Kingswood, which is just behind the hotel, is just as creepy. Maybe even haunted!”
128 AC Kings Landing
“Mother, please tell me I do not need to go to this hunt. There are better things I can do with my time.” The One-Eyed Prince has been trying for days to stay at the Keep, not wanting to waste a morning travelling to the Kingswood just for a hunt that he did not want to participate in.
The Queen sighed at her son, pushing a silver strand away from his stoic face. “Aemond… ‘Tis for Jaehaerys and Jaehaeras name day. Your brother wants to do a grand celebration for them. Especially for Jaehaerys.”
He rolled his one eye. “We all know that it’s an excuse for him to drink away… With reason this time.” He looked up at his mother. “Will father be coming?”
“The Maesters will assess The Kings health before letting us know but I do doubt that he will be able to join with the amount of pain he has been in.” The Queen replied. It has been no secret that The Kings has been declining the past couple of years. Decaying flesh, rotting teeth and constant pain. Drunk day in and out on milk of the poppy.
“If he does not go…” He tried to think of a reason to stay but was stump. “If he does not go then I shall stay here and watch over him.” Lies.
Alice by let out a chuckle. “You are quite the convincing liar, Aemond, but the Maesters will be here to aid your father in anything.” She walked away from her son and looked at the window, looking upon the people of Kings Landing. “I know you would much rather be here, reading in the library and training outside but it will do you some good to be away for a bit. Breath the good air of Kingswood.” She turned around to face her third child. “Plus, Ser Criston Cole shall be joining us if you ever do need to scratch the intense to train.”
Aemond rubbed his face and groaned. “I guess you are right, mother. But I will not ride with Aegon in the carriage. He’s an imbecile and will most likely throw up from all of the wine he has drank.”
“Thank you.” Alicent smiled. “You may ride with with me and Ser Criston. Halaena will be with the children and nurse while Aegon rides with Ser Arryk and Erryk as it seems they are the only ones that can deal with his shenanigans.”
“As I mentioned before… Imbecile.”
The night passed swiftly and once the sun started to rise and was on the horizon line, the Royal Family begun their travels to the Kingswood. Even though Aemond was never a talkative person, worsening after the incident with his eye, he seemed even more lost in his thoughts than usual. He stared out the window, sitting across from his mother who watched him intensely. “What is on your mind, sweet son?”
Aemond continued to look outside the window but sighed. “I had this weird dream. Was just flashes of images. Nothing clear. There was this woman… She seemed lost, searching for help. It sounded like she was calling out to me but the way she dressed did not seem normal.”
The Queen stayed silent for a moment before speaking. “Are you a Dragon Dreamer now?” She joked, causing a small smile to break on the princes face. “Dreams have many meanings. Perhaps it’s just a bad dream from the stress you put on yourself. Free your mind for the next couple of days. Perhaps even participate in the hunt.”
The hunt that went on in the Kingswoods happened every couple of years, usually to celebrate a names day for a royal child. The White Hart was usually the main goal of the hunt but any animal was game. “And if I were to meet the White Hart, would that not be a sign that I should be the King over my buffoon of a brother?” It was quite well known that Aegon did not desire to be King, fought against everything Even fighting with his Grand Father and Mother saying that it was his Half Sisters birthright but all of his complaints were going to a deaf ear. Aemond wished to rule. He was fit to rule and it was simple: he rode the largest dragon in all of Westeros, he excelled in combat and studied on the history and politics of his family and of Westeros but it would not go to him unless everyone in front of him died.
This was a conversation he had with his mother too often but his question was answered with silence. That was how the rest of the carriage ride went. Silence. The dream kept replaying over and over in his mind. Who was this girl? What was she doing? Who was she to him?
Within the next couple of hours, Lords and Ladies and the Royals arrived in Kingswood. The air still cold with the mornings breath. Everything was set up for them to place clothing, tables… Everything. The children were running about, screaming playfully with each other. Jaehaerys and Jaehaera came running towards Aemond, crashing into his legs. “Hi Uncle Aemond!” They squealed.
He looked down at his niece and nephew, rubbing the back of their heads before pushing them back on their way. “Hello you two.”
“Time travels back and is protected by the White King.” Helaena whispered into the cold air of the morning, staring at Aemond from across the way.
Aemond looked up to make eye contact with Halaena, seeing her lips move but not making out what she had said. He cocked his head to the side, deciding to walk towards his sister to see what she had said. She didn’t seem to realize that Aemond was by her side before he squeezed her hand. “What was that, good sister?” Helaena looked up at him and gave him a small smile. “Only Time can tell you… Only Time.”
The rest of day went on eventfully. The men prepared for the hunt while the women gossiped as they ate cake. Of course Alicent chose not to participate in the gossip. She could not bother to hear anymore about Rhaenyra, her bastard sons and how great they are. She decided to watch her grand-children run about. Aegon was nowhere to be found, most likely already drunk in his tent, Helaena chose to rest in her tent as the carriage ride took a lot out of her and Aemond sat with Criston Cole as they sharpened their swords, getting ready for the hunt. She stared around her and for a slight moment, she would think her life was perfect. She had her children and her grand-children around her but then she remembers that she is practically ruling the Seven Kingdoms, her husband was dying and she was alone in the world.
2024 AC Kingswood
You slipped on your black slip dress, continuing to argue with your friend in the hotel room. “You don’t get it, Talia! There is something calling to me out there. I’m not insane. I’m not crazy. It’s been going on ever since we entered Kings Landing.” The buzzing was constant, the whispering was constant and the flashes of that man were at every corner.
Talia sat on the bed, her eyes following you as you continued to pace around the room. “I’m not saying you’re crazy but you sound crazy, Y/N. A silver haired man with only one eye? Listen to yourself!”
You groaned and you pulled yourself into a ball. “I know what I sound like!” You stood back up and waved your arms around. “But this… This place is weird. There has been so many deaths and apparently fucking magic. There is something going on.” You grabbed your black shawl from your luggage and pulled in over your shoulders. “And I am going to figure it out.” You pointed to the woods. “I’m going to go in those stupid woods and try to find something. I don’t what I will try to find but I will know what it is when I see it.”
Your friend gave you a shocked look, standing up quickly and grabbed your arm. “Okay now I’m saying that you are crazy! There’s boars… Bears in those woods! You could die! What would your mom do if you die?”
You ripped your arm from her grasp. “Well she always knew I would die in a stupid way. Tell her I love her. And before you ask, no you can’t come. You’ll be the person to let the teacher know that I’m gone. If I’m not back before the next tour tomorrow morning, you can go all out and tell everyone I’m missing. Okay?”
You saw the perplexed look she wore in her face before answering. “Fine. Fine! If you die… Ugh!”
You put on your pair of shoes, grabbed your flashlight and placed it your bag before heading out. You stood in front of the forest and sighed, were you really this stupid? Yes, yes you were. You took one last look at the hotel before you made your way into the dark, insect infected forest… Gods you were dumb.
It had already been a few hours at this point, you were tired, you were hungry and you still had no idea what you were looking for. You kept hearing animal noises surrounding you and you were terrified. What if a wild boar chased you or a bear mauled you to death? What if you died of dehydration. How many days does it take to die or dehydration or hunger?
Suddenly the aura around you sifted and the whispering begun again. ‘You’re so close, Y/N. Continue.’ It was a man’s voice. It was so clear. ‘Continue straight, My Love, we’ll be together soon.’ The buzzing began and it only got louder as you continued walking straight. The further you walked, the higher the grass got. It was tickling your calves. It was as if a flash of light opened your eyes when all of the sudden a bunch of tall stones stood tall in front of you, being illuminated by the direct moonlight. The aura surrounding it was calling to you to come closer. “This is what I’ve been looking for.” You beamed with excitement.
The buzzing only got louder as you approached the Stones. The high grass tickled your calves, leaving tiny water droplets on your skin. The buzzing sounded as if it was whispering your name, soft as wind. “Y/N… Y/N…”. It only drew you closer.
The Stones had this silver and golden aura surrounding it. Were you the only one that could sense it? Were you the only one that could hear it? See it? Your thoughts were racing as you stood in front of the tall Stone. You raised your right hand to touch it, as if that was what it was telling you to do. The only thing you could do. For a moment you hesitated, wondering what you were doing, why were you here but it just kept calling out. “Y/N… Y/N…”
You let out a long breath and pressed your palm flat against the rough texture. Within the moment, all sound seized to exist around her, life was dark and as soon as it disappeared, everything reappeared.
128 AC Kingswood
You blinked your eyes fast, letting out a shaky breath. You stumbled backwards and the world wasn’t as you just saw. There were more trees surrounding you. The woods seemed to be more lively than before. “Oh Gods, what did I do.”
From back at the camp, Helaena felt the shift in the air. “Welcome home, Time.” Helaena smiled.
———————————————
SOOO what do we think? It’s only getting started and I’m so excited to see where this goes.
