Ryan showed me 3 new beats that he made! Again, I was highly impressed. I helped him make the 808 patterns slightly more complex for the 3 tracks. I reviewed with him how to set up instrumentals for mixing. Vin Lu / Studio 213 / Saint Paul

Gabe started switching instruments to the Omnisphere instruments. There were many to switch over! I reviewed with him how to find specific instruments within the vast sound library. We discussed how to make selections based on qualities of the instrument. It is helpful to use the various organization methods within Omnisphere. I also reviewed with him how to use the quick sampler and how to add samples from my beat packs. By the end of the session the track sounded full of texture, emotion and energy. Ty gave me the background story to the track we are recording. I advised on what octave to have it in. They previewed the track for me, it is captivating! We successfully recorded guitar part. We reviewed tempo setting and I also showed them how to time stretch, when needed. I reviewed with Ty some key techniques to control recording volume. I helped them begin recording the first verse. The track is coming a long quiet quickly! Vin Lu / Studio 213 / Saint Paul

I spent a sunny afternoon with David. He is very interested in learning how to make his own short film. We reviewed the In Progress website, learned how to make room and equipment reservations. We also talked about the overview of project planning, production and editing. He decided to start with a 1-2 minute project to get familiar with the process of creating a short film.

So proud to see this IP artist surround by family and friends as she presented her film "Bring Her Home" at the Minneapolis International Film Festival. She spoke to a large audience about her continued search for sister Nevaeh, and then later passed out materials and educated the public about how to protect themselves agains predators. Congratulations LaKaylee for your powerful work and thank you family for driving so far to show support. <3
