“What?!” She spat. Again, she wants to brush him off as crazy. Sadly, she can tell this man was serious. He seems to be human but, she can tell something was off about him. Off enough that his words weren't just a bluff.

Should she provoke him? Test him? As much as she wants to, she can't. While her heart would be tied down in guilt over the innocent lives that might be lost, her heart truly hurts at the thought of indirectly hurting her twin. Her other half. She could never bring herself to do anything that would cause any harm to him.

Yet, she takes another step back, wanting distance between them. She doesn't like the way this sounds.

I sleep but it’s for the best bc Darla wants to rant about soul mates and how the perception is only one and it has to be romantic as if you can only love one person and romantic love means more. She has a lot of thoughts about this and can rant all day about it

Also yes Drew has similar thoughts about the issue

Darla really tries her best to only be upbeat around Andrew bc she knows he worries about her otherwise and he’s already stressed out enough. She tries so hard not to add to it

Which is to say if you ever point out she’s not ok in front of him she gets severely upset at being called out. She’s dumb enough to think he doesn’t catch on

I feel like I’ve mentioned this before but it’s hard to keep track of what I’ve said in private conversations and what I’ve said publicly-

If Darla is to die first Andrew would get revenge on whoever killed her and then take his own life

If Andrew dies first Darla would be in complete denial for a bit. Even if she saw it with her own eyes or saw his body. After that wears off she would kill herself on the spot

The two can not live without each other. Refuse to even. This is no matter what regardless of verse or circumstance

All twins really need to do to accept death is to just die by one another’s side. If the cult had killed them from the beginning right next to each other they would have accepted their death without issue. If there was truly an afterlife for them after being killed that way they would have also accepted their death then because then they would have at least met up on the other side.

Because they didn’t die by one another’s side or had an afterlife to meet up in they refuse to die.

Even their boss caught on to this quickly as he’s killed them multiple times before but, never near each other as he can’t lose his two pawns.

This is also part of the reason why the two have such intense separation anxiety. The worst things only truly happen when they are apart. If the two are ever gravely injured near one another they will use their last bit of strength to comfort one another. Even if the best they can do is try their best to reach over and brush their fingertips together as their lungs collapse and are bleeding out to death.

As long as they die together then it doesn’t matter. Even the flames of hell wouldn’t burn them if they are together
