Might be an unpopular opinion but I actually like them a lot. No they’re not my favourite of out the entire mlb but they’re definitely a lot better than some teams’. I mean I know there’s technically a lot of different directions they could have went but they still chose the skyline with probably the most well known spots in the city. At the same time I’m not from Toronto despite being there many times so I can’t really tell you the local ideas of city representation.

Also I can’t get over how much I love the detail of the skyline all around the inside of the hat.

I understand that it’s the job of any defence attorney to ask for an appeal but I’m honestly not sure if they actually think they have a chance. Cause yeah you can make the case that it was a bad or “rigged” decision to have the trial in New York (where Trump conducted most of his business) because you’re putting him in an already “biased” jury. BUT you’re also talking about the former president of the United States (and one who was/is possibly the most controversial of all time). No matter where you go in the country, everyone is already going to already have an opinion on Trump, whether good or bad. And even though you can say that you completely left political feelings out of your decision (and I’m not doubting that the jury did in this instance) the losing side will always say that your feelings were involved.

The same goes for the fact that Trump said “we asked for a venue change which they denied. We’re in an area where we only polled at 5%”. You will never be able to find an area of the country that is split evenly democratic and republican. In the same breath, this was obviously an incredibly big trial, meaning they’re clearly not going to have the trial take place in a middle of no where town. It’s obvious that it would take place in a city, although I guess you could argue NYC/Manhattan is bigger than most but still, no matter what big city you go to they will have polled majority democratic. So the republicans and Trump’s team will never get their way in that regard.

Do I think this will have an impact on his voting and polling numbers? Absolutely not. Right now you’ll just hear his supporters getting louder and louder because of his “rigged” argument, just like he did with the last election. At this point in time politics in america is extremely divided, but in the sense that there really is no centre anymore (even if their idea of left is actually much closer to centre but I digress). The right keeps on moving farther right and the left can only move farther left, although I would argue that the left has moved much slower than the right. If anyone on Trump’s side hasn’t switched or changed their mind already, there’s a very low chance that they will. Really they can only get more devout.
