this blog is strictly 21+ only and intentionally small-scale and almost solely thread-based. i heavily prefer plotted dynamics and pre-established relationships, and only write with mutuals. i am also very slow/sporadic activity. my main blog is @dispatched, but i can also be found @mediumhonor.

my charles has no set timeline, but his two primary timelines are mid-rdr2 and post-rdr2 (and, therefore, post-rdr). prior to joining the van der linde gang, he largely lived an isolated, transient lifestyle, avoiding becoming attached to any one person let alone a group of people, and his association with the van der linde gang was an exception to his overall rule. after the fallout of the gang, he is mobile with the wapiti nation.

i am not super fond of fix-its but given that quite literally everyone (besides charles and sadie) in canon is doomed by the narrative, i'm willing to explore.

a large part of this blog's purpose is to explore charles' background as a black indigenous man and how it informs his characterization and his motivations. moreover, given the prominent themes of gen*cide and racism in the red dead duology, those topics will arise as well especially given how intrinsic they are to charles' character. however, those are not the only parts of his identity despite what rockstar may think. these topics will be explored, albeit not gratuitiously, and will all be tagged appropriately.
