"Can I tell you a secret?" She said after looking at her hands intently for a while, before finally looking up into his eyes.
"Are you sure?" He questioned, stepping inside her room and approaching her. "You don’t seem… fine. Is something on your mind?"

"Yes you are old, for me at least. I am sixteen but that's not what I meant, I meant you are most probably from the past which means you are old." She smirked, quickly regaining both her wit and her breath.
Isabelle let her night gown fall and quickly dressed herself into her shadowhunter gear, not caring whether Leah was watching her or not. "Anywhere but here, why do you care anyway?"
"I’m not old, nor am I English," Leah corrected. "I’m eighteen and American.” She smirked, leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed. “‘Nd I haven’t done anything mean - not yet.”
"Lucky for you, I’m not staying to peep at your body, no matter how gorgeous it might be," Leah replied, though she casually leaned forward to see what Isabelle was doing. Losing interest, Leah began inspecting the dirt under her nails. "Going somewhere?"

Isabelle looks up, her blue eyes seeking the source of the voice and nodding, running a hand through her long black hair. "I am fine." She lied.
[peeks his head into her room] Isabelle? Is everything all right?

"Aren't English people, and most importantly old English people known for being kind?" She asked sarcastically, but the effect was pretty much lost as she was breathing heavily.
"Look I am sorry, it's not like I did it on purpose, alright? It doesn't matter anyway. I was just leaving." She said standing up from the bed and walking to the closet. "And you better not be there when I turn around unless you want to see my fabulous body."
Leah didn’t usually walk into other people’s room, but she made a special exception for tonight.
"I hate to be a bother, but could you please keep it down," she said into the dark room. "The walls are thin and it’s rather difficult for me to sleep with you jostling around in there," Leah continued insensitively, not realizing that her neighbor was in the throes of a nightmare.

"It is, terribly uncomfortable." She said sighing, fixing her clothes. "Yeah, I'm fine, thank you." She said, not having realized she had fallen asleep in a couch in the Sanctuary.
You really ought to sleep on your own bed. That sofa looks terribly uncomfortable. [her brows furrow in concern when she sees the look on the other girl’s face] Are you alright?

Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t chop him into worthless-bastard-themed confetti.
