I think miraculous ladybug target audience has shifted from kids to teenagers to young adults :”)

It was first released in 2015 and now it’s already 2023.

So an 8 year old is now a 16 year old and a 12 year old is now a 20 year old…

Marinette is 14 on first season (acts as a role model for younger audience as the target). But as the season goes, her role changes from “a role model” to “a relatable figure” because instead of an older figure, she became someone who’s at the target audience’s age.

2015-2016 Season 1: 8-13 years old

2017-2018 Season 2: 10-15 years old

2019-2020 Season 3: 12-17 years old

2021-2022 Season 4: 14-19 years old

2022-2023 Season 5: 15-20 years old

That’s how the target audience is shifted. So if you’re a Mom and wanted to introduce your kids to Miraculous ladybug, then please introduce them according to the seasons :))))

Season 1-2 is definitely too childish for a young adult like me back then. But i’m captivated because it feels like a combination of cardcaptor sakura and avengers :”) so how could i refuse. Bc watching cardcaptor sakura feels “nostalgic” to me and watching avengers feels definitely “proper and popular” as young adults are surely the target audience.

And also I love how it is sooo fastpaced! Animes are too slowpaced for me! I prefer mangas over anime haha. I just couldnt imagine do kids can actually understand the pace of miraculous ladybug?
