REMASTERED Ep1 Season !
Thank you for your feedback! We have listened and started the process of remastering the whole First Season of Star-Fall.
I'm reposting this so the listeners who are already fans will get a chance to relisten to the episode.

Where have we been?
Worry not folks we are still making Star-Fall. In fact, are recording again next weekend.
When COVID -19 arrived to Australia I was made redundant at my work. (One Month after buying a house) This shifted all our priorities to finding some way to make money. With all the jobs in the area also making people redundant or not needing my skill set at all. This forced us to do something very risky at these uncertain times ... Start our own business
So the last few months we have focused on Starting our Mac Repair and Training Lithgow. And have expanded into iPhone Repairs Lithgow.!
What does this mean for Star-Fall Podcast? Well you should see some of the upgrades that were required by the new buisness!

Remastering of Season One of Star-Fall underway
Hey folks.
We have learned a lot about how to produce a podcast in the last few years. Computer upgrades and some new mics are going to make a huge difference in quality. So we are going to be remastering Season One of the Science fiction RPG Podcast
This process will take some time. Some Audio we can only do so much (Crappy Mics at the time of recording) but overall we want to make a better show! When that happens we are going to publish all the remastered episodes at the same time so you can COVID binge the whole thing if you like.

In this video, we’ll show how to use Maltego to monitor live events on Twitter to target disinformation attacks like those used by Russians in the 2016 US election.
To enable these campaigns, online conversations were carefully studied to craft information that would have the maximum impact. Once sensitive topics were gathered, the fake news was aggressively injected into the public discussion by strategically placed bots targeting real users determined likely to share the content as legitimate. Often, these talks would appear to be from a valid or known source, or at the very least, a member of an existing fringe group.

I got laid off my day job and have been focusing on starting my own business doing Mac Repairs in Lithgow. This has take up a considerable amount of my time. That said I'm starting to feel the need to get away from the spreadsheets and into something more creative. Say a podcast that I have not touched in a while.. I started writing and drawing this comic a few weeks ago. The idea was to find a new way to tell the story. Audio dramas are amazing however I ‘m am not in a place where I can pay the voice actors at the moment. Many of the voice actors also have a major case of life. Chasing down the voice actors recordings has become a major part of the podcast. Writing a Science fiction comic seemed to be the best way to tell the story. I can do it all myself and do not need to wait on anyone other than editing.
Why is getting feedback on a Science Fiction comic important?
Truth be told that you need to get feedback anytime you try to do something new. A science fiction comic is no different. There is the art, The dialog, formatting of the pages and Fonts, etc. It’s very easy to get too attached to the project and not understand that it needs improvement. From me, I have the entire world of Star-Fall in my head. This is fantastic however needing to give that information to the readers is not easy. Feedback allows me to learn what the readers think.
Example in chapter two the G’Dar who is Targon Wells advisor is an alien. Being that there are no other G’dar in the comic it’s assumed that the alien is evil.
Not taking feedback personally.
I have taken feedback personally before. When requesting feedback get ready for there to be bad feedback. But if all you get is “WOW THIS IS GREAT’ you are not going to improve. You need to honest feedback. Also be aware that some people are not good at giving constructive feedback for creative projects. That is ok. but be ready for it.

I always find it funny when people say that artists are lazy. It is really not true. As I’m not getting paid so I’m going to be working on the comic. With too much time on my hands, I started to work on the Star-Fall Resistance Comic.

The comic is based on the NPCs that are created in the Star-Fall RPG universe. Though the comic does parallel the Podcast and they will often cross paths they are different stories in the same universe.
The first two chapters will sound very familiar as they are taken directly from the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast scripts. From there is where they start to deviate.
Working on a Science Fiction Comic is a Challange
I always wanted to work in comics however my art has deviated from drawing comics when I was young. So relearning how to draw comics has been a major challenge. The biggest challenge is that most of my characters looked alike. This comes from learning how to draw people from a Stan-Lee how to book when I was nine years old (You have no idea how hard it is to break 35 year old habits).
Well Developed NPC characters have a new life
As a gamemaster sometimes its frustrating to have an amazing NPC never get the light of day in a game. In the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast I was not expecting the players to want to leave the planet so soon. So the story about Erick, Scott and Gemma was completely forgotten as far as the players were concerned. With such a great story I had to tell it. Getting voice actors is tough so I decided to create the comic.
I have also decided to use the comic to explain the motivations of one of the most enigmatic of Allies of the Fifth Crew. Why he does things and why he asks for nothing in return. The Star-Fall Resistance comic. Will not only address those issues but will tell his compleat story.

At the point of writing this blog post I have created Ten chapters of the comic. Once we are done with the proofreading we will decide how we are going to distribute the comics. Being that we are not taking ads the Comics will not be free. Pateron backers of the Star-Fall Actual Play Podcast will be able to read the comic as part of their Pateron Package.
