lots of people who try to “disprove” that arashi is trans often argue that “boys can be feminine without being trans girls”, which i 100% agree with. however, arashi has been shown to experience gender dysphoria and refers to herself as a woman; she is much more than a “feminine man”.

if you want feminine boys, enstars has plenty of those! characters like hajime, midori, tori, kuro, nazuna, and souma have characteristics and interests that most people consider feminine. hell, wataru is a man that’s willingly crossdressed multiple times!

i get it. you want representation for feminine boys, and i do too. and i’m not trying to say trans representation is more important than that. but looking for that kind of rep in arashi is looking in the wrong places, because she is canonly a trans girl. don’t try to erase representation we already have for the sake of a different kind of representation.

There is a seller on Yahoo! Japan Auctions, Amazon Japan, and Mercari Japan who is profiting off of the Tokyo Mew Mew settei (setting data, setting material and production materials) that I have scanned on this site and provided here for free.

I found it weird when I noticed photocopies of the very same douga I had purchased years ago included in the set I just bought, but what made me sure these were photocopies of my scans was when I got to the page of Ichigo’s house that I had translated into English. They actually included a copy of my English translation… (The watermarks were all removed, though.)

I don’t support anyone making money off of my hard work, especially when I decided to share these freely so that people could refer to them for art, crafting, cosplay, etc, and so they wouldn’t be completely lost to the void of time. So I would like to ask that you please, please, please avoid buying from them. Not only is this underhanded, but because these are taken from web images, the pages are poorly printed and very grainy. (Also why buy something you can find here at no charge…?) Anyway, I just wanted to raise awareness about this. Don’t fall into the same trap I did!

The set in question is 135 pages. They are using multiple accounts to sell them:

Naturally I thought about taking them all down, but decided that would only hurt the people who enjoy them on tumblr and not actually accomplish anything at all (since they’re all out there on the web anyway). For now I will be sharing all future settei scans on the Tokyo Mew Mew discord, so hopefully this person can’t profit off any additional pages, but people can still enjoy them.
