I was curious so I looked at the prologue (yah I know whatever side-eye me but anyway)

*spoilers ahead*

I'm going to talk about this in bullet points because this is more like a curiosity read instead of a "I'm going to invest in this" read.

Levi Childish Jealously Overall Thoughts:

First, now I get why they said "chlidren's day" It is because MC was talking about Minhyeok and them hanging out each children's day together and their fond memories of such

Also, Levi are you fucking srs why are you checking up on MC with a damn crystal ball as if your ass can't stand the fact that they're out smiling with the Gehenna besties like????

I clicked on the prologue and his ass was already mad and it made me laugh because see??? see what I mean by he's always mad about something? lmao

Also he made Foras go out and help him do the spying like? Ok

He made Foras feel bad about suggesting to go nerf Minhyeok if Levi wished it and this man is like "oh a sudden death that will make one miss the other forever" and he's referring to Solomon here and Foras was like "fuck" (HONESTLY Levi he only suggested that to make you feel better like don't do that .-.)

Learned some stuff about the devil named Seere, who can travel anywhere and through dreams too in a blink of an eye (reminds me of someone from another fandom...) and that's the one who produced the memory manipulation spell and it seems he just does this any way to cause mischief on Earth (so if anyone experiences deja vu blame him /j)

So the rules are, Levi can't alter things too much or it messes with each others minds or causes both of them or just Levi to wake up out of the dream if I'm getting that right

also Satan is about to get pissed the fuck off because they also got a sleeping spell/poition from Seere and everyone in the palace was asleep LMAO. The fact that he pretty much knocked everyone out so he could do what he wanted without pushback goodness.

NOW i'mma go over the dream events:

Minhyeok looked so ready and adorable in his uniform, confirmed this is high school Minhyeok and MC.

Minhyeok saw Levi just standing in his room and was like o______o the fuck? And Levi literally snapped his fingers and erased him.

Imagine the nightmare Minhyeok had as a teenager and was like "a demon fucking erased me from existence omfg" and his parents were like ???? and his brother was like "lol wut"

anyways moving forward, MC noticed the changes but didn't challenge them (Levi is hot wow gonna forget my friend ig /j)

Already this man is mad at MC for tripping and not tying their shoes...plz???

Also for whatever reason MC is very clumsy here, like everything reads to me like a Kdrama where every moment MC is falling, tripping, forgetting shit and Levi is getting annoyed and pissed off at every mistake and it's sending me because dude it is not that deep please relax

Cool Levi moments though is when he ties the shoes, blocks MC from getting hit by a volleyball, lends his gym clothes, gets a cream bun for MC, and takes MC to the nurse because they sprained their ankle

WTF Levi moments is....him basically glaring at the teacher who didn't challenge him, choking another fucking student for almost hitting MC with the volleyball, shoving students (actually I like that and wish I had someone to shove people out the way to get me stuff)

everything else was pretty tame and a good set up though for a highschool au, ASIDE from the sexual stuff? (again personal preference so don't axe me in the mentions)

But again this is good material for how he would act in a school au setting, I do remember doing a childhood au with him and the other kings and he reacted similarly by finding everything they did annoying, kept to himself, and caused an issue that nearly killed everyone because he couldn't control his powers just yet, so if I do decide to do a highschool au with Astra I'll remember Levi's reactions for reference

That's totally fair and your take on this is valid. I forgot that some folks don't have twitter/insta/etc. when I really only have Tumblr and Twitter that I use daily. And oh three days? That sounds about right since I see others clear their likability that quick or quicker in like one day. Maybe I'm just prioritizing or doing things differently because it takes me pretty much a week or two to get up to 100 as I don't use any more heart points that I have to without spending red gems because I feel i'll need them someday for whatever reason if that makes sense?

So PB announced that they are changing the likability stuff where we are basically getting chats with illustrations and the comics are being posted through social media only from now on.

I wonder what that's gonna look like, but the cool thing is that we still get the comics! I feel honestly, it's easier just seeing it through socials than having to grind so hard to unlock each page since the likability increments are 0.2% per battle.

while I do enjoy writing for you all, the requests burnt me out so quickly I felt some of them might have gotten repetitive on the creativity on my end and thus would yield terrible responses and results that someone waited an entire month for and i feel that's not fair. plus being vulnerable with you lot, I'm just feeling like i'm not the best lol i don't really follow canon because that's too much logistics for me to remember for each noble and king's personality, and at the same time i'm like ew this sounds completely off base what if someone doesn't like that LMAO and then I get in my head about it.

I like claymores btw so I'm wondering which noble causes that weapon to show up? :o And let's go even further and bring the Kings into this? For Mammon, it's blood in the shape of a hand, for Leviathan, sharp spears of blood that shoot from a coffin, for Beel similar to his bloodshed whip, except this is literally just a sworl of blood attached to a handle that's liquid until it hits a target, I'm not familiar with Lucifer's powers yet because I don't have his card T^T

That one post I reblogged about the blood acceptance theory with Satan has me thinking of something angsty and slightly romantic between him and mt OC.

It's a ficlet so-

The air is heavy and thick with soot and smoke as the sounds of explosions, screams, and the lifeless bodies of angels and devils crunching against the streets of Gehenna as others trample through.

The smell is horrific, nothing but death as Astra jumps around keeping her distance from the angels that tail her. She was low on stamina, lungs barely expanding due to her shallow breaths to keep from breathing in the stale air.

"I have to keep moving" is all that floods her mind. No matter how many cuts and scrapes decorated her legs or how much her eyes burned from the smoke, she had to keep moving.

Thankfully, just a few yards ahead is a clearing, a grassy area just outside the inner city of Gehenna where she pushes herself hard while visualizing the sweet salvation of the grass against her skin. But this is interrupted by a crazed angel with a look of murder twitching in its eyes blocking the path, it's long spear like fingers outreached toward her in attempts to grab her.

"So delicious....so sweet....the marked one..." It chants over and over while swiping its claws.

Astra evades its attacks but gets pushed into a corner, no clearance in sight without having to take a hit or two from the angel.

"Satan..." She whispers faintly, knowing her voice couldn't be heard over the angel's maniacal laughter. Astra would have to take the hit and hope that one of the nobles would be nearby to help with her wounds.

She stances herself to run but something stops her, two hands against her shoulders as a large body covers her like a shield. The familiar scent of cat hair, cinnamon and ash fills her nose as her hands grasp the plush and fluffy texture of her lover's hair.

"I'm here." Satan's voice calms Astra as she holds back the urge to cry. He heard her say his name, and he meant what he said when he told her he'd always come.

The angel attacks his back, screeching in frustration and blinded by its own hunger to realize it was up against someone who could end it in seconds. But Satan kept shielding Astra, unwilling to admit he was borderline to passing out from having to fight thousands of angels before making his way here.

"Satan, that angel is fucking your back up. Don't injure yourself over me!" Astra pleads the stubborn king who only smiles as his crimson irises glance down at her.

"You matter right now."

Simple and forward in his words he doesn't stand down, Astra frantically looking around her for ways to help him until she remembers.

"Here." She offers her wrist, in the same fashion as Sitri would in the battlefield. He'd have his energy again if he took her blood right? He needed it.

"No." He shoved her hand away, but Astra shoved her wrist right back in his face. The angel behind them stops for now, titling its head and calculating how it would strike next while the two banter.

"Satan I swear to fucking..okay maybe not God...but I swear if you don't take my blood..."

"I won't."

"Ugh!"

Astra angrily grabs Satan's necklace and slashes her wrist, surprising the devil before her as he jerks his body back while furrowing his brow.

"Astra why the hell did you do that, stop being stupid."

"You asshole just take my blood, you're about to fucking die or something because of me this is least I can do!"

"No."

Satan still refuses, knowing that she was close to being right that his energy was spent. He wouldn't die, but he would surely pass out within the next few minutes if he didn't rest immediately. He hated this. His nobles were tied up saving other parts of Gehenna, he had just one choice and yet.

How do I know...it will work?

His doubts fill his mind, he's never tried this before, not even with Solomon out of fear. A fear he never admitted to, not even Sitri. Astra's blood may not help if she doesn't love him like he loves her. Part of him didn't want to face that reality, not in the heat of battle when it was crucial to their survival.

Astra held her bleeding wrist, trying to keep the blood from wasting on the debris littered ground as she steps forward.

"Satan, didn't you promise to protect me? And all of Gehenna? Do what you're supposed to do and stop being chilidsh!"

He stares intensely at her wound, leaning forward and grasping her arm tightly as he sinks in his fangs. The moment of truth would reveal itself regardless whether he waited later or not. He had someone to protect, he had citizens to protect. And frankly, Astra screaming at him caused more than just a romantic reaction in his core.

As her blood filled his mouth the surge of power was like a blow to his gut. His eyes widened as demonic energy overwhelmed his senses, his muscles twitching and his eyes glowing so brightly Astra had to squint in order to keep from being blinded.

This...it's....

He backs away as blood swirls around him to form the shape of a scythe, covered in chains as the air around everyone within the radius becomes tense and dark. Even the crazed angel who was confident moments before was shaking while trying to retreat. In a flash its wings were cut and crashing to the ground, blood squirting and pooling around it as it screams echo through the alleyways.

Satan proudly held the scythe in his hands grinning ear to ear as he slashed through any nearby angels that came to investigate. His laugh bellows against the tall buildings, being heard across miles of the city and beyond as his nobles all turn to acknowledge his delight.

In the meanwhile, Astra finds the path to the grassy meadow, collapsing on the soft grass as she turns to face the gray clouded sky above as sunlight fights to peek through. Her wrist was still bleeding but less than before as she studied the wound with a weak smile.

"Miss Astra! Please be alive, aye!"

The tiny flaps of Ppyong's wings bring relief to Astra who reaches out to gently stroke the red lump who furrows his brow in concern.

"Ahhhh Miss Astra, Ppyong was too late, aye. I'm back from seeing Minhyeok and I have it! But Miss Astra..."

Tears start to form on the small devil's eyes but Astra sits up and brings him close to her chest. Her heartbeat was weak, and her body was exhausted from having to run for as long as she did.

"I'm okay Ppyong, give me the vial."

He does so, the milky white liquid she's seen so many times before sloshing around it as she opens the cap. Without thinking she swallows the substance and makes a face of surprise after handing it back to Ppyong.

"Wow, it's fruity? He listened to my suggestion. That's kinky of him..." Astra hides her face as she giggles. In the midst of it all, this man, her childhood best friend had changed his diet so she could swallow down his fluids easier.

Everything in Hell is so crazy.

Astra holds Ppyong gently for comfort, the red lump grinning horn to horn as his face smashes against her breast. Moments later, two figures show in the clearing, Sitri and Zagan.

Immediately looking her over, Sitri frowns until he sees her wrist, the look of shock on his face. Zagan quietly begins to rip pieces of his blouse to wrap Astra's cuts, her hands petting his horns gently and kissing his forehead as a thank you.

"Miss Astra...this wound."

"Satan took my blood. He was low on energy, but he was so stubborn about taking it."

Sitri holds her wrist taking one of the ripped pieces of cloth to gently wrap it. "His majesty doesn't want to hurt you. Taking blood drains energy, which is why I offer to do it each time. And-"

He stops mid sentence but forces himself to smile. He knows without saying, that taking Astra's blood and Satan having the energy to take on another thousand angels, meant she loved him, just as much as he did. But part of him wondered, if she had enough room left to love him too.

He shakes his head to clear his mind of the underlying jealousy that plagued his heart. She was safe, Satan was safe, his feelings came last behind that.

"Sitri?" Astra stares at him with sparkling eyes, making Sitri feel his heartbeat skip and his cheeks flushed.

"Nothing Miss Astra, the importance is that you're both okay and Gehenna has won another battle. Your bravery will be remembered forever."

"Sitri that's so dramatic, but cute. Let's get back to the others I think Satan is done murdering those fuckers."

She stands and allows Ppyong to crawl into her shirt to much Sitri's disdain. Zagan lowers down on one knee to offer her his arms and she accepts, being picked up in bridal style as the small group descends back into the city to find the others.

If you don’t mind me venting about the community. It’s not an attack i promise but I guess it’s a hot take?

I think people need to get off their high horse with WHB. Let’s check the list: we’re dealing with devils where s*x is the norm, we’re also dealing with angels who straight up want to murder the devils and you. And debauchery is painted al lol over this game.

I have my reservations for a lot of things in the game but I believe in the don’t like don’t read/don’t roll for it. Happened for the Christmas angels already and I’m kinda tired. That being said I feel Levi dream jumping isn’t that big of a deal if he mind wiped us then for sure that’s worth the anger. He’s fictional so I don’t take it seriously, but I guess people act like the other devil kings don’t have questionable habits too because they’re nicer. People’s anger is valid but don’t ruin it for others plzkthx

Oh, forgive me for being ignorant here but is that what people are up in arms about? Memory manipulation is right up there with dubcon and other problematic themes and tropes that could trigger some uncomfortable feelings but I have written about memory manipulation before in both a NSFW and sfw sense and it revolved around a demon doing this as well because I believe they would if all means necessary to.

I agree though that each king has his negative trait, I could point out each one but that's not the point obviously.

I do keep seeing people voice their opinions about the games content and I don't really see anything wrong with that, because some stuff won't resonate and other stuff will.

That being said?

We're about to see some stuff I think that will test everyone's will for playing the game any further and I can feel that in my gut by what I'm seeing now.

So mute, block, curate those spaces because players are gonna vent and voice frustrations.

Might be slightly misremembering but isn't it stated Satan only uses the blood of those who love him in combat. Which means in theory it's possible that the blood of those who don't love him doesn't react to his powers.

Imagine that's the reason why he doesn't bite MC to try to use their blood. Yes he doesn't want to hurt them in a way that can't be healed or that they both wouldn't derive pleasure from, but he's also afraid of the possibility of them not loving him. Yes they are his but what if it's just him who feels like that. He always tells them he likes them, but have they ever done so?

something I'm noticing here lately is that they changed the time when cards will drop into the gacha pool. i'm very well think it's because the number of people who are waiting until two or three weeks down the line don't have any incentive to pull with the seals and that means no money is being put into the game. Still, if you stretch it out...most folks are going to drop money to get the card early especially if they want it because three months is a long wait for a card.

coming from a business stand point it's working because of how many folks pulled for lucifer and of course everyone was reaching for juno because he's truly exclusive because of nightmare pass

observing business tactics in action? yes...i'm waiting to see what else they do to bring up that revenue.
