"THE VALLEY OF THE AMAZEMENT"
📌JHAY ANN BOGAR
11-MORSE
DML
The Valley of Amazement inspired me to be true to myself and to fight for my rights as a human person. Like Lulu, I would be shocked and pained if I would know that part of me was removed because it was undesirable. Lulu could have accepted the fact or not that she has an extra finger on each hand, but she has not been given a chance to do so.  This tells us that each one of us has the right to our own body. No one should violate this right. We have the right to change any part of us because it belongs to us. Our body, our choice. If you choose to change your body and later regret it, the fault is no one’s but yours. It’s a matter of acceptance. Acceptance means embracing what is rather than wishing for what is not. People should always remember that our view of ourselves is more important than the others’.
“Self-acceptance is about understanding exactly who you are and accepting all of your personality traits, flaws, and mistakes, and knowing that is you. You can’t be perfect, so you have to live with what you’ve got. It’s about being okay with who you are.”

"APO ON THE WALL"
I LIKED THE POEM BECAUSE ITS REMINDER THAT ALL OF OUR FATHER HAVE A INDIVIDUALS CHARACTERISTICS, THROUGH THIS POEM I REMEMBER MAY FATHER , HOW STRICT HE WAS , HOW HE TURNED ME AWAY FROM DEVIL DEEDS, HOW HE PROTECT ME. I'M FEEL SO BLESSED HAVING A FATHER LIKE HIM AND I'M PROUD THAT I HAVE A FATHER WHO PROTECT ME WHATEVER THE SITUATIONS IT IS , HE TEACH ME HOW TO BE FAIR, HOW TO BE KIND, AND HE ALSO BUILD ME UP AS A WOMAN. A WOMAN HAVING A DISCIPLINE, BEING RESPONSIBLE WOMAN.I LEARNED A LESSON FROM THIS POEM THAT EVERY SIN YOU COMMITTED THERE IS A CONSEQUENCES. BEFORE OUR FATHER TEACH US HOW TO MAKE A DECISION RIGHT AND BEFORE OUR FATHER LEADS US TO A GOOD DEEDS BUT NOW THE FATHER'S TEACH THEIR SONS/DOUTHER BEING NOT RESPONSIBLE BEING RUDE , HOW TO CIGARETTES HOW TO DRINK BEVERAGES SEE THE DIFFERENCES BEFORE.
