Hologram/Globe Test
The UV below is the automatic uv that MAYA puts on spheres..
I followed Goode Homolosine projection to UV the sphere but when it unwrapped it was slightly curved as you can see above, this means that when I put it into photoshop to try to put a globe on to the UV it didn鈥檛 line up properly as you can see below.
After I tried聽Goode Homolosine I switched to a more direct type of UV as seen above however I can鈥檛 get the texture to fit properly as seen below.
After finding that the map didnt fit properly聽聽
