Love you ArtResin! https://www.artresin.com
Here is my dining room table, before, during and after! So happy to be working with ArtResin......easy to use, lots of guidance from the website, so fluid, so smooth, no clouds, no yellowing, no fumes, no VOC’s......just perfect! Thank you Rebecca. 3 coats, sanded in between. One would have been plenty but I added sparkles and gold leaf.

I completed another ArtResin project.....I had been experimenting with a paint pour on a dollar store cork mat. After it dried, I added a coat of ArtResin.....looks great.....really makes the colours pop! Can’t wait to use this product again! https://www.artresin.com

I don’t know where you live but don’t forget to crank up your furnace to 22 degrees Celsius (71.6 Fahrenheit) while working with ArtResin to extend your working time to the max! https://www.artresin.com

I assembled the table and received the cat-stamp of approval! I love the sparkles, the colours.....everything! It dried in less than 24 hours. I found no dust/hairs on the uncovered shelf. I love ArtResin and look forward to completing these tables. A bit more practice and I’ll be ready to tackle my dining room table top.

At the end I decided to add some iridescent sparkles on top. I covered one of the shelves and left one exposed to see if dust was going to be a problem.

Spreading
I had no idea how thick the ArtResin would be and was pleasantly surprised at how thick it was. I carefully measured equal parts of the hardener and resin and mixed/stirred for 3 minutes. I poured a portion of the mixture out, making sure not to scrape the mixing container. I poured a clear layer on first, steering it with the spreading tool. I poured the remainder into 4 small plastic cups and added the paint (turquoise, black, white and gold) mixing well. I poured them at random onto the two smaller trays and steered them with a hairdryer. They moved around and feathered nicely, under good control because of the thickness! I moved over the top, a few inches away from the surface, with a butane torch to pop all the bubbles.  All done! Beautiful product! Lovely tints! ArtResin

I assembled all my equipment ahead of time to make the most use of my time window (approximately 45 mins). I had already watched as many videos on the ArtResin site as possible https://www.artresin.com
I chose ArtResin tints to colour the resin, and some sparkles for fun!
Tip: I wore two pair of gloves so I could remove one to use the hairdryer and butane torch and not gum up the on/off buttons.

I bought two metal tables (showing one) as my first project because the shelves could be removed and have a bit of a lip so I wouldn’t have to worry about the edge until I become more proficient. https://www.artresin.com

ArtResin Adventure
I have been working with acrylic paint pouring technique and have decided to branch out into resin pouring. I have been researching resin products and selected ArtResin because of it’s assurances of no VOC’s or fumes and drying without yellowing. https://www.artresin.com Thanks to my friends at ArtResin, I received a 32oz kit to try!
