i’m taking 15 credit hours, and anything from 12-20 is usually considered full time

is 18 hours a week average for college/university?

i was just looking at my cas papers and it said that. it’s going to be odd (but nice!) to go from 8 hour school days to ~3

Haven’t posted for a while but the semester ended last week and I’ve practically been living in a study room since 😭. I have 3 finals this week: clinical neuroscience today, advanced stats tomorrow, and drugs & behaviour at the end of the week.

These 8 hour study sessions are exhausting but I’ve been super productive (my friend spends at least 12 hours a day studying, idk how she does it day after day). I’m worried for my final tonight b/c studying for my stats final was a bigger priority, but I just have to keep pushing through.

i’m back, baby

WOW it’s been a hot minute. 

since the last time i was on here, based on the description i just changed, i did 6 AP tests (four junior year and two senior year), applied to colleges, got accepted to college, finalized my decision to attend butler university, found a roommate, started dorm shopping, AND GRADUATED IN THE TOP 10!

it wouldn’t have been possible without the motivation i found on here in the early days of high school, so much gratitude to you all.

i’m going to try and be more active on here, now that i’ll actually have things to post (truth: i literally had zero homework for at least 3/4 of senior year, and i was in all AP classes. you’ll be fine.) because i’m assuming i’ll actually have work and things to do. 

so an updated about me: my name is amanda, i’m attending butler university as a healthcare and business major, and no, this is not a double major. i don’t have to deal with communal bathrooms, but i do have to deal with being 7.5 hours away from my home and family.

i’ll be sure to post more “back to school” things in the upcoming weeks, especially as move-in day is in less than a month.

Hello guys! It’s been so long I have posted here. I didn’t have anything much to post but since its coming close to exams and the second term is soon over I should pick back up posting I guess??

The beginning of this week I stayed home and did alot of things. I worked on my SBAs( school based assessments) which are required research projects to do that go towards my final CAPE grade. They also include labs but I did those already. I also made a revision timetable as my exams begin May 9th.

So far I have mostly followed through with my timetable except for on Tuesday when I honestly couldn’t be bothered lol.

Did a past paper today and I would say I did quite okay? Our exam board doesn’t give out mark schemes so I wouldn’t really know.

Today was a nice day, the sun was out all day and it wasn’t really cold, which I’m happy about. I only had 2 classes so I was done at 11 am. I went home and relaxed for a bit, took a nap and watched some videos. Later on I did some much needed cleaning in my room and now I’m just getting ready to go to bed. •reviewed notes for my Cellular Biology midterm tomorrow (yay for weekend midterms😒) •got home from lectures and started reviewing for a psychology midterm

Study tip**** use lots of different study methods to help consolidate your knowledge! I like to take notes from the textbook, compare it to my lecture notes, and make summary tables or mindmaps integrating the two! 👍🏼
