Teenage crush: There was this boy named Matthew that was this cool skater kid and he was my older friend’s little brother. I was just in love with him at 14 or something. He was the first guy I held hands with. He was very cute.

Boldest teenage fashion choice: I once wore heels to school because I was trying really hard to fit in because I felt so out of place. I did it once and never again, that was probably the weirdest thing. 

Hometown school traditions: After prom or any social event we would always go to our local What-A-Burger and just hang out afterwards.

Go-to I’m feeling a lot of feelings song in high school: Anything from Speak Now by Taylor Swift and any Beatles song on the White Album

2000's teen movie freeze frame epilogue: Juliana went on to follow her boyfriend to college and then regret it horribly and then drop out of college and then break up with him and then do music full time.

What you'd write in your own high school yearbook: You’re doing fine and things will work out. Just be happy and make sure to stay grateful for where you’re at.
