this is literally one of my favorite frames in all of milgram... the projection being bigger than the real him. the facade has grown more important than the real him will ever be. the apple is in front of him in the past, he'll bite it, inevitably, but in the present, the chair is empty. the presence of something echoes through the theater, but its source is long gone. now that he's gotten too greedy. now that everyone has stopped seeing the projection. now that there is just a disappointing aftertaste of the real kazui mukuhara.

THEM! I made doodles of the other prisoners with their own raincoats.

I didn’t want to have any duplicates, but I can’t not give Yuno a cat. A fox seemed like a good alternative to a cat for Kazui.

Haruka gets plaid to match Muu. The lop-eared rabbit seemed different enough from Mahiru’s normal rabbit + He has a rabbit plush.

Fuuta gets a mouse because the Backdraft lyric “Grind your teeth and strike a pose” references cheese in the original Japanese “Ha kuishibare hai chiizu.” Also, he’s kind of a coward. The pattern looks like wifi.

Kotoko gets wolf (duh), and the pattern is a houndstooth pattern.

I literally had no idea what to give Shidou, so I just picked at random.

i often see a lot of people doomposting about milgram's finale since t3 is soon and i used to feel like this but strangely i don't anymore (not like i feel superior due to that. i think it's just a mindset changed caused by events like any other) the main project and the novels have all made me feel very fulfilled for now and i'm sure the "finale" (in "" because i doubt the finale will really be the end for the project's story) will satisfy me just as much.

i'm fan of a series whose story ended over 10 years ago and i'm not really unhappy by the fact that it ended so i'm sure i'll feel this way about milgram too when eventually all stories wrap up. also it's not like we'll never see the prisoners again after it's over!!!! merchandise, official arts, fanarts, fanfics, all of these things won't just disappear!!!!

i think milgram is a piece that is impactful enough in people's lives for it to live on for a very long time. i'm sure our love and the creator's love (milgram is a passion project at heart, isn't it?) will outlive the narrative.

i drew some of the victim characters in the minigram style! 😊 i used some of the original prisoner drawings as a base so that i could get the sizes right but i added variety so that i wasn’t outright tracing the bodies. i am so proud of the hinako one 😭

i have muu’s, mahiru’s, and kazui’s victims and then shidou’s wife. i might also do lucky and the bartender in the future or the other prisoners’ victims when we learn more about them! 🙂
