When I was but a wee baby high schooler I made this on my school issued chromebook and posted it to my og tumblr blog and I just knew in my heart it would do numbers but alas it got 1 note. (me on my other blog)
People talk about the surprise albums from people like Taylor Swift or Beyoncé that drop with zero warning but I have just been existing in this world where every album I've ever heard in my life has been a surprise album because I didn't know that musicians had schedules that we could see
love how when i get a new interest, i’m like “oh god it’s happening again” and i’m stuck like that for about a week until everything explodes and any interest i’ve had prior is completely dwarfed for an unknown amount of time
I was once again contacted by another family attempting to escape Gaza! This time it is Mohammed Mousa, his spouse and his three young children ages 7, 5, and the last child is only 9 months old!
The campaign has just started(done by his friend Tareq) so it only has a singular donation. Please help if you can!
My one friend group can't stop saying, "See you in hell!" in a cheerful voice instead of, "Talk to you later!" and my other friend group can't stop calling things "penis" instead of "cool" or "good", so I just unironically uttered the phrase, "Sounds penis, see you in hell," as I got off the phone.
narratively I am a fan of romances that don’t ever actually become romances
I don’t mean in an aromantic life partner way, I mean romantic tension that is never resolved or acted upon for whatever reason but by the end it’s clear that both characters experienced the love of their lives without ever acknowledging it as such. but they know. they know.
Thank you all to those who donated following the showcase of the last initiative! Thanks to your donations Mona was able to distribute 4000 Liters of water to displaced Palestinians in Rafah! Thank you so much you wonderful people. If you ever have any money to spare you can send it her way and you'll know it will be put to good use. Remember! Every dollar counts! P*ypal.

Because I already see a lot of armchair activists doing this: Remember Palestine does not exist in a bubble. It is testament of what happens when fascism goes unchecked and unpunished. And every Western government is supporting it because the issues faced by Palestinians are being upheld in the US, UK, Germany, France, etc.
Palestine is a prison issue, Palestine is a homelessness issue, Palestine is a clean water issue, Palestine is a children's rights issue, Palestine is a food insecurity issue, Palestine is a child imprisonment issue, Palestine is a militarization issue, Palestine is a disability rights/accessibility issue, Palestine is a mental health issue, Palestine is a police brutality issue, Palestine is an indigenous peoples issue.
When Palestine is free and before then, especially before then: Do not treat it as an isolated problem. U.S. police departments and IOF platoons train in the same facilities. Imprisoned people have been denied food, water, air conditioning in record breaking heatwaves, have faced sleep deprivation, have lost their sanity in Supermax solitary confinement, are worked on literal plantations. Palestinians offered the citizens of Flint, MI tips on how to deal with living with contaminated water (which, by the way, its been a decade since Flint had clean water as of April 24, 2024). In Black and Indigenous communities, there isn't this familial/community divide that I've seen white people on social media talk about. We're pretty unanimous across generations that what's happening in Palestine is wrong, is genocide, is what our ancestors went through and what we as descendants continue to go through.
You cannot be pro-Palestine without being a prison abolitionist, water defender, antiracist. You'll see the corruption everywhere. If you haven't yet, start looking, start drawing parallels. It'll be there, trust me
Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:
Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)
Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)
Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.
But in Japanese it scans as:
Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)
Psycho (short for psychic)
Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.
