i feel like high school/middle school sitcoms set the unrealistic expectation of being able to have lunch time outside

#middle school absolutely not #the first couple years of high school also no (unless you knew The Secret) #but my hs was also under renovation the entire time I was there #so at some point I had most of my classes in individual trailers that you had to go outside for #which was more like college than my previous public school experiences #and about halfway thru my time there they completed the new cafeteria #it was way bigger AND they gave us an outside section with tables #it was fucking great. #I’m in Maryland so there were good portions of the school year where the outside was a viable option

Both sad and surprised that I apparently don’t have any pictures I’ve taken of the key bridge. I’ve gone crabbing and driven our boat under that bridge countless times. There’s no way I never took a picture of it :(
