One of my favorite Laura and Liam on-stream moments was when he gave her a replica flying broom as a birthday present:

I love this moment not just because it made Laura so happy, or because the gift tag said “Happy birthday, Twinnie, fly high!” 

But also because Laura had been getting crap for weeks from “fans” on the internet for everything to do with the broom, and Liam looked straight at the camera and said to her: “I’m a big fan of all your decisions. Keep making them.”

Have we ever discussed the fact that 2001 - 2012 Disney channel’s shows all had strong female leads, with the exception of Zack and Cody but they had a black man in charge, a smart poor white blonde girl and a dumb rich Asian so still beautifully diverse.

Disney was 100% female empowerment and showed diversity. Who did they employ to create the shit they have today?

Things that remain

There were many rooms in Whitestone Castle, and this one was nothing special; just a storage room at the end of one of the back corridors, hidden from the main rooms of the house. It was funny, Vex thought; when she was always travelling, always on the road, she had known where all her things were. Here in Whitestone, she had a real home of her own for the first time in decades, and things kept turning up in unexpected places.

But there was a heavy wooden chest there that held old things, simple relics from a bygone age. Not magical ones, or not in the way that Vex had become used to speaking of magic. Old things, worn things. Possessions that had belonged to the person she had used to be, that had somehow persisted into her new life.

(CR SPOILERS AHEAD) lord i was thinking about your meta so much during that fjorester conversation. she was just doing everything she could to help him and not to push and you could see fjord's heart eyes at the end of the conversation, right before he got flustered and made an excuse to leave. methinks jester's not the only one confused about their romantic feelings.

AW thank youuuuuu i have so many thoughts about that talk but yes it aligned perfectly with what we’d seen of their dynamic before and fjord just was SO SOFT and open and Jester was so worried for him and i’m gonna properly yell about this in a separate post but YES THIS FJORD CAUGHT FEELINGS and Travis knows it:

being the only one not to have to deal with any consequences? like if the m9 were all gonna get killed she was still roaming free and clear and in a position to intervene if need be

that great conversation with fjord when they were having a ~moment~

didn’t let his PCs die needlessly while retaining the stakes

crushed Avantika’s windpipe in public

I finally got around to do some Critical Role fanart. I’ve been wanting to draw this scene ever since it happened. Things sure would look different had it worked haha. I think Fjord is such an interesting character!
