Hi there! My name is Jasmine and this is my book, Star Trek One-shots, and Drabbles.
Star Trek has always been a big fandom in my life next to Hatty Potter and Voltron. I have wanted to start a Star Trek book when my Voltron Imagines started to gain attention. I decided now would be a good time to start compiling a bunch of little one-shots I had already created. I want to get this book up to 200 chapters no matter how long it takes.
I will write for various ships. If the ship is not on the list you see below comment and I'll add the ship to the list.
When you send your request you must give me the ship and a little plot.
Below is a ship list for the characters I write for. there will be an asterisk next to the ships that I love to write for more. if you want to see a character added to the list let me know.
Jean-Luc Picard/Beverly Crusher*
Pavel Chekov/Hikaru Sulu
Data/Geordie LaForge*
James T. Kirk/Leonard McCoy
Jean Luc Picard/ Q*
James T. Kirk/Spock*
Spock/Leonard McCoy*
Leonard McCoy/Spock/James T. Kirk
Christine Chapel/Nyota Uhura
Garak/Bashir*
Dax/Kira*
I appreciate the time you spent reading this. I hope you have a good day. Live long and prosper! 🖖

James T. Kirk X Reader
Tumblr media
Requested: by a friend.
“A half-Klingon woman (a Starfleet officer) falls in love with Captain Kirk but feels inferior.”
Word count: 1054
WARNINGS: negative self talk
Melody watched Jim lean over Spock's shoulder, they were talking. she didn't know what they were whispering about. she was very curious but she knew better to ask. Melody caught her name whispered once or twice. She couldn't help but wonder if Jim was talking about her.
Melody always wanted Jim to pay attention to her. she longed for him. she wanted him so bad, but why would he want her?
Melody  was born on earth to your Klingon mother and Human father. being the first half Klingon in the Federation she experienced a lot of xenophobia. she understood Klingons were bad, but she was not raised like a Klingon. her father and the Federation made sure of that to your mother's dismay.
Why would a Starfleet Captain like James T. Kirk in a woman like her?
Footsteps were coming from behind her and she turned to see Dr. McCoy. "Are you okay?" he asked.
she considered McCoy to be her best friend. He understood her. He was her backbone. she came to him after a hard day.
"are you crying?" he asked crouching down beside Melody.
she looked over to him and wiped her face, she were crying. "I- I didn't know that- that I was crying." Melody studdered.
"Follow me to sickbay, It'll give you time to breathe," he whispered.
he grabbed her elbow and helped her stand up. The two of them made it to the Turbo Lift before someone cleared their throat.
"Bones, where are you taking her?" Jim asked walking over. she didn't dare look up at him. she couldn't let him see you cry.
"Melody is complaining of wrist pain. I want to take a look at it." he lied.
"Keep me informed," he said. she felt a hand on her back, "Melody, take care."
"Thank you, Captain," she mumbled out.

"what has got you so upset?" McCoy asked.
"you already know. I just... I wish i was Human." Melody said patting the spot next to her.
"tell me about it, Melody," he said taking a seat next to her.
"I was crying because he could never love me. I'm a Klingon. The only reason I'm here is because my father forced people's hands. Hell, we got attacked by Klingons three days ago." she pushed herself up.
He crossed his arms, "Now listen here. you deserve to be here as much as anyone else," he argued. he hopped up and turned to her. "just because you are part Klingon doesn't mean he won't love you. Now I also know that he likes you." he walked over and grabbed her hands. "I won't tell him what you've said but I will push him to tell you."
"you are certain he likes me?" she asked looking up at him.
"of course I am. He adores you," he said giving her hands a tight squeeze. she smiled, her dream come true.
Melody had always hoped for this day. Now somehow Bones had to convince him to tell me that he likes her. she sighed and hope she wouldn't have to wait long.
---
"come in!" Melody said putting her book on her table.
the doors opened to Jim Kirk. she stood up and brushed off her pants, "Captain," She whispered nodding to him.
"Relax, I'm not here as Captain. I'm here to talk to you about something that I believe you are feeling as well," he said.
she nodded watching him enter. he made his way to the table she sat at. he gestured to the seat across from her. "may I sit?"
"umm, Yes. Of course," she rushed out her face becoming hot.
"Nervous?" he asked with a soft laugh.
"Yeah, Captain... before you tell me why you came, can I say something?" Melody asked.
he nodded and she took a deep breath. she could tell him. she knew could do it. she pushed herself up to sand and straightened her uniform.
"I want you to know that however you react... it won't affect my work in any way." she started. "I'm in love with you."
"Melody, I-"
she raised your hand to cut him off, "Let me get this out before you speak."
he gestured for her to continued and leaned back in his chair. his eyes didn't dare leave hers which she had to admit made it easier to talk. she knew no matter what she had is full attention.
"I'm a half breed of a race that is evil. I know people don't trust me and I don't blame them. I know you tell me not to think like that but I do. I can't help it. I know loving you is a dumb idea because you can't love me back. I just... I love you and I want to be with you." she could feel the tears running down her face and took a seat. "I-"
"Keptain, can you come to the bridge?" Pavel's voice interrupted.
fear ran through her. what if he left and didn't talk to her again. what if it was a Klingon ship and he decides that she was dangerous. what-ifs swirled through her head.
"I'm busy at the moment. Get Spock instead. I'll be up as soon as I finish here." he said, she let out a breath and put a hand on her rapidly beating heart.
"Yes, sir." she heard Chekov say.
Kirk gestured for her to continue.
Melody smiled at him, she was thankful he stayed, "I want you to see the good in me. I want you to know that I'm a good person." she finished and leaned forward.
"Can I talk now?" he asked.
she nodded tensing in her chair, she was bracing yourself for the rejection. she watched him stand up and walk over to her. he brought his hand to her face. "I love you, Melody. You don't need to prove anything because I already know you are amazing."
He stroked her chin and lifted it toward him. the kiss was gentle, she lifted her hand and stroked his cheek before tangling her hand in his hair.
she pulled back and leaned her forehead against his.
he helped her stand and she pulled him into a hug. Melody had Bones to thank. without him, this might have never happened.
Happily ever after... here she comes.
