Surprise surprise // Lucien

Summary: It's Lucien's birthday and you decided to surprise your handsome prince.

Lucien's birthday is coming up so you decided to plan a surprise for him. You told the head of the orphanage he always visits with you your plan to which she agrees right away. After all, Lucien is the kids' favorite person and celebration the professor's special day together is a great idea. You want it to be perfect that you practically spend your breaks planning. Even Anna, Kiki, Minor and Willow help you from the beginning to end since you're also busy with the company. The day is going fast and it's actually a trouble hiding this to Lucien because your man is a smartass that he catches up easily on you. Always asking you questions which almost had you spilling the beans. Luckily, he's still clueless or so you hope. Soon enough the day finally came. You woke up early only to see the spot beside you empty. The covers are cold letting you know that it has been empty for a while now. You get up and walk to the living room to see Lucien reading. Slowly, you walk up behind him and wrap him in a tight back hug. He stops reading, put down his book and holds your hands.

“Hey, why are you up this early?” he asks you rubbing circles in your hand. You nuzzle your head in his neck.

“I should be the one asking you that.” He chuckles at your response. He faces you and kiss your forehead.

“I’m always up this early but it’s quite strange for you to be awake at this hour.” He said smiling as gentle as his hold on you.

“Well since its both our day off today. I was planning to ask you to go out with me so begone to the bathroom and change.” Its not actually your day off today, you just took a leave after finishing everything in advance. Victor was surprised that you report to him quite early and not days late this time.

“Is that your way of asking me on a date? I believe I should be the one doing that.” He said but still get up and drag you along.

“If you thinks it’s a date, then date it is. Besides, I can ask you on a date if I want to you know. Go ahead. Off you go!” you push a laughing Lucien in the bathroom. When you're sure that he can't hear you anymore, you dialed Kiki's number to check up on things. Hearing the bathroom door opens, you hang up without saying goodbye.

“You done? Wait for me in the living room. I'll be quick.” You didn't give him time to respond as you rush to the bathroom to groom yourself. When you come out, he was sipping tea. He rise up when he saw you.

“Shall we?” offering you his hand, you went out and make your way to the orphanage. He did ask you about your destination but you insist it's a secret. As you arrive at the orphanage, you can see Lucien being confused but didn't say a word. No one was around when you arrive which makes the place so quiet. You enter the garden and sit on a nearby bench.

“I’ll just go look for someone. I'll be quick.” You stand up ready to leave.

“I’ll go with you.” He also stands up but you push him back.

“No stay here, I won't take long.” He gave up and let you be. You make your way to the hall to change clothes and join everyone who's hiding since you arrive. You signal a kid to go to Lucien as planned. Your man sat quietly waiting for you return, just as he thinks you're taking too long a kid come up to him.

“Professor! This is for you!” the little boy hands him a small piece of paper.

“Hello. Thank you young man.” He takes the note as the boy runs away. He reads it smiling as soon as he sees the message.

‘Happiest birthday to the smartest scientist and kindest professor in the whole world. May you have a day as lovely as a butterfly and a life as beautiful as a rainbow.’ He flip the paper to see an instruction. ‘Go to the event hall, My prince.’ He chuckles at the nickname. As soon as he step into the hallway, he is greeted by little princes and princesses all lined up holding flowers.

“Hello Prince Lucien.” The kids say in unison, bowing in the process.

“Greetings your majesties. You all look lovely in those clothes.” Lucien play along and bow down. His smile never leaving his face. Two princess came up to him holding a crown and clothes for a prince.

“This is for you. Your princess is waiting for you right down the hall.” They say excitedly handing him the clothes and the crown. He gently takes them and put it on.

“Then I suppose I should get going. I can't let the princess wait for too long.” The kids giggle and make way for him. When he reach the event hall, the music starts playing as soon as he enters. There he saw, his beautiful princess in her dress waiting for him. The place is decorated enchantedly. You turn around and smile sweetly at him. He walks up to you reflecting the smile you have. The moment he's right in front of you, you give him the flower you're holding.

“Happy birthday! Would you give me the honor of dancing with you, My prince?” you ask stretching your hand towards him. He gladly takes your hand and kiss it.

“It would be my greatest pleasure to dance with such beautiful princess.” The both of you dance through the music. Both lost in each other as you barely notice everyone enter the hall and watch you two dance. As the song finishes, the lights turn dim. You tiptoed and cover his eyes. Anna enters holding a cake. When everything is settled, you slowly remove your hands as everyone sings happy birthday. He makes a wish and blow the candles. He looks at you, happiness can be seen in his eyes. He hugs you tight.

“Thank you. You know you don't have to go around tiring yourself out making this. Having you with me is more than enough.” You hug him back, looking up at him.

“I know but I want to. Besides, this is the first time we celebrate your birthday like this after you revealed your real birthday. Everyone was so excited.” He didn't respond. He just smiles at you and kiss you sweetly. Out of all the birthdays he celebrated, this is the first time he celebrates it with other people. it's usually just the two od you. His birthday is a secret only the two of you knows but after some time, he seems to warm up and feel comfortable to particular people that's why he decided to reveal his birthday to them earlier this year. All of those people are here today. Thanks to them, this surprise is possible. Although its not the time for you to be relieve yet. You still got one more surprise for him which you plan to give at home when you're alone. You are nervous as you don't know hot to tell him that you went to the doctor yesterday and got some good news. Putting your worries aside, you get another plate full of food. When you reach your table, you immediately munch on them. Lucien noticed that you are eating fast.

“Slow down, you can take your time eating.” He said gently holding your hand. You chew on the food and he wipe off your mouth with a napkin.

“Yeah boss slow down. That's your second plate already.” Minor said amazed at how much you've eaten.

“You’ll get fat if you continue eating a lot.” Kiki teases you as you have always been conscious about your weight. You glare at her as your mouth is full and Lucien could only laugh.

‘Oh I remember, I was also like that when I was pregnant with my first child.” The head of the orphanage said, looking like she is reminiscing the old times. The moment she said the word pregnant, you started choking on your food and had both Kiki and Minor spitting their drinks.

“W-what?” Anna asks, her eyes wide.

“It’s true. I eat more than what I used to when I was pregnant. Wait, are you pregnant?” the woman asks you curiously. You are still coughing as Lucien gently pats your back and offer you a glass of water. You gulp it down and heave a sigh of relief.

“Are you okay?” Lucien asks you worried and rubs your back in a soothing way. You nod your head in response. The moment you look up, you see everyone looking at you.

“Uhhhh….” You fidget with your fingers.

“Now that you mention it. She does eat more than usual. And on top of that, she eats certain types of food.” Anna interrupts. The rest in the table are listening carefully.

“Yeah she also said she's not feeling well these past few days.” Minor said, adding fuel to the fire.

“She even crave for strawberries yesterday.” Willow who has been silent the whole time spoke.

“And lastly, you gained weight!” Kiki said dramatically earning a nod from your other colleagues.

“So is it true?” the head asks. You're now more nervous than ever. Everyone is looking at you waiting for answer. Hearing your colleagues speak, Lucien also remembers a time when you cry over a cartoon which has a happy ending. It's a happy ending and a cartoon so you crying startle him. You look at the man beside you. He answers you with a smile. Your heart calms down a little. Gathering up the courage, you nod your head not breaking eye contact with him.

“I went to the doctor yesterday and I found out I'm pregnant.” Lucien’s smile grow wide as you hear cheering and congratulations in the background. He hugs you tight.

“Sorry I didn't tell you yesterday. It was suppose to be a small surprise for later when we get home but I guess the cat's out of the bag.” You said scooting closer to him. He holds you tighter, caressing your hari.

“Its okay. I still got surprised anyway.” He pulls away from the hug and placed a hand on your still flat stomach. He gently rubs it, eyes shining the brightest that you've ever seen. Slowly, he leans down and plant a soft peck in it. Your heart melts at the sight of him. When he rises his head, he rests his forehead on yours.

“Thank you for giving me the best gift.” You are left speechless. The two of you stayed like that without a care in the world. The celebration in your surroundings has been long forgotten. It's like there's just the two of you in that moment. The nervousness you felt earlier is now replaced by certainty. The rest of the day was spend partying. Through the whole day up until evening, Lucien never leave your side. He holds you close and extra careful as if he's holding the most fragile thing in the world. If it's him, then you're sure. Having a little angel that you both created would be a wonderful experience.

Jamming Session //Kiro

Genre: Fluff

Word count: 1,357

Summary: When are cleaning the house jamming to his songs because you thought you're alone or so you thought.

Anna ask you to take a day off because you've been so busy for the past weeks. You wanted to protest but Kiki kicked you out of your office. When I say kicked you out, I literally kicked you as you're being stubborn. So now, you are walking home thinking of things to do. You stop by a supermarket to buy some snacks. As you enter your home, you are welcome by silence. Kiro left days weeks ago to film his new music video which means you will spend your so called 'day off' alone. You sit on the couch and grab your phone. You text Kiro asking about his shoot and also informing him that you're home. After sending a text, you put your phone down and decided to clean the house. You vacuum, wash the dishes and dust the furnitures. As you clean, you found a lot of lost items that you gave up finding. You even saw Kiro's hidden treasure chest, a box filled with snacks. He hides it in different places so that Savin won't see it but unfortunately the agent have keen eyes so it's always taken away. Upon seeing his precious babies, you suddenly miss him. You remember you always clean the house together. it's only been a few weeks yet you miss him like crazy. Feeling your chest tighten a bit, you decided to turn on the speaker and blast some music. You play all his songs from the very first album up to his latest one which only you heard as it hasn't been released yet. Perks of being his girlfriend, Kiro always give you your personal copy. Your loneliness are soon replaced by happiness. Listening to his songs always magically lift your spirits. Maybe because of his beautiful voice or maybe because you feel like he's with you even though he's away. It seems like your excitement has reached its limits that you start dancing like a madwoman. You dance around while cleaning the whole house. As if it wasn't enough, you grab a broomstick and use it as a microphone. You started partying, singing along like you're the original singer. You are so caught up by your own excitement that you didn't notice Kiro leaning by the door frame arms crossed over his chest. He has the biggest smile plastered on his face as he watches you bob your head and strum your 'guitar'. Not wanting to miss the moment, he take out his phone and record you. You start to dance hard twirling your body. Just as you face the door, you saw Kiro. You jump in surprise, squealing. You abruptly stop dancing. When you register what's happening, your face light up, eyes twinkling as you run and jump in his arms. He catches you and twirls you around. You kiss him deeply, you felt him smile through the kiss. You stare at each other as you catch your breath.

“I missed you so much.” You hug him once again and he chuckles.

“I missed you more sweetheart.” you're still clinging to him as he enters your home. He sits on the couch with you on his lap.

“How long have you been here? How come you're here? Don't you have to shoot a few days more? Did the shoot end early? Why didn't you tell me?” you bombard him with questions and he laughs, his hands on your lower back.

“Easy Miss Chips, you can ask me one at a time. I'm not going anywhere.” His hands drawing circles on your back.

“Sorry, I guess I'm just too surprised to see you here.” You said as you look down.

“I did my best to finish early so I can see you sooner. I even beg Savin to talk to the director. Now to answer your question, I've been here for a while already but you look so cute dancing and singing like that so I didn't interrupt. Lastly, I've been calling you a hundred times but you never answer. I guess the music's too loud for you to hear.” You quickly check your phone to see 10 texts and 20 missed calls from him. Your eyes widen in shock. He laugh at your reaction.

“Relax, I'm not mad especially when you wiggle your hips like that. I didn't know you are such a great dancer.” You have no idea if he's complimenting you or insulting you. One thing's for sure, he's teasing you about it. So you shoot him a glare.

“As if you can dance any better.” You know Kiro is an excellent dancer, you just said that to fire him up which actually worked.

“Oh you bet. Watch me!” he then gets you off of him and settles you on the couch. He walks towards the speaker, change the music, then walks back in front of you. Once the music started, he dances to the beat. His body moves as if it is one with the music. You were stunned by his moves. Your excitement from earlier starts coming back so you stand up and dance with him. You are both laughing and dancing till you drop on the carpeted floor. Lying down, panting he holds your hand. You raise your clasp hands and shout.

“Kiro is the best dancer on the whole wide world! I am his girlfriend and I love him very much!” After hearing what you said, Kiro also shouts.

“You heard that? She's my girl! She dances so well and I love her very much!” You both look at each other and laugh. He raise his head and prop it in his elbow. He stares at your laughing face. His smile is gentle and full of love. You stop laughing to look up at him. He brush your hair off your face. He leans down and place a soft kiss on your forehead, then on your eyes, your nose, both of your cheeks and lastly on your lips. The kiss lasted for a long time. Its not the usual kiss that you two share. Love and longing can be felt, like he's trying to show you how lonely he felt during the days spent without you. You smile through the kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck. His other hand holds your waist, pulling you closer to him, making it seem like he's on top of you. When he finally pull away, you are both panting hard. He suddenly hugs you excitedly or more like crushing you.

“Stop squishing me!” You laugh and try to escape but he only holds you tighter. Having no choice, you decided to just hug him back. The two of you stayed like that for a while. Through the silence, a sudden grumble echoed. Kiro raises his head and looks at you.

“Did you hear that? That's a loud thunder. Looks like a storm is coming. We better close the windows.” He said looking around the house. Your cheeks reddening the more he talks. You grab his arm and je looks back at you.

“Kiro, that's not thunder. And there's no storm.” Now he looks confused. You bit your lip in embarrassment.

“Then what is it?” He asks, head slightly tilted.

“That’s my tummy. I'm hungry.” He stares blankly at you, processing the information you told him. A lightbulb seems to pop up above his head that he starts laughing hysterically. You pout at his reaction.

“Come on then. Savin and I pass by a restaurant which serves good food but not as good as Souvenir's of course.” He pulls you up and you let him. He puts an arm around your shoulder and walk you to the kitchen.

“I forgot baby bird is always hungry.” You side-eye him as he unpacks the food.

“Says the one who has a massive black hole on his stomach.” Before he could protest, you shove a big piece of meat in his mouth shutting him up. You eat as you continue to tease each other. Filling uo the days you missed together. Soon enough, you also finished cleaning the house. After messing around like children of course.

Family Date // Gavin

Summary: You are suppose to be on a date with Gavin but unexpected visits occur. So you ended up having a 'family date' with twins.

You are staring at your reflection in the mirror looking satisfied. Gavin has been given a few days off so he decided to ask you on a date. You suggested to go to an amusement park that's why you wake up so early in the morning to get ready. Checking the time, 7:00am, you take a sit on the couch waiting for him. After a few minutes, you heard a knock on your door. Jogging up to open it, you were surprised to see your friend and he twins at your doorsteps.

“Auntie Mommy!” the four-year-old twins hug your waist. You smile and kneel down to hug them back.

“Hey kiddos, miss me?” they both nod kissing each of your cheeks and hug you tighter.

“A lot” Alex, the older one, said.

“Right twinnie?” he nudge his twin sister, Alizzah, to which she nods vigorously.

“We miss you this much.” She then made a big circle with her hands. You laugh and ruffle their hair and they giggle.

“Aww I miss you guys too. But what are you doing here?” you look up to your friend as she gives you an apologetic look.

“Hey, sorry this is so sudden but can you please take care of them for today? I just have an emergency at the office.” She gives you a pleading look. You nod your head in response.

“Sure, go ahead. Leave them to me.” You stand up as you let the kids roam in your apartment. Only noticing how you're dress, her eyes widen.

“Oh I'm so sorry. Are you going somewhere? I should just call someone to be a on day nanny.” She was about to dial a number when you stop her, shaking your head no.

“I’m suppose to have a date with Gavin but I know he wouldn't mind some change of plan. Besides, I won't be at peace if the kids are under someone else's care when I'm actually here.” With your words, she hugs you tight thanking you. She you and the twins goodbye and left. Just as you are about to close the door, your eyes found Gavin looking at you smiling. He has arrived long enough to witness your little talk with your friend. Smiling back at him, you watch as he walks up to you. He hugs you and kiss your forehead.

“Hey, I missed you.” He put his head on top of yours. You close your eyes and nizzle your head in his chest. You can clearly smell his perfume, giving you sense of familiarity.

“I missed you too.” You look up at him. You stayed like that for a while staring at each other. Slowly, he lowers his head, about to kiss your lips. Just as your lips are almost touching, you heard a loud 'eww' behind you. Remembering the twins in your apartment, you quickly pull away from Gavin. You look at the giggling kids, your cheeks heating up.

“Auntie Mommy is kissing a guy.” Alizzah said as she laugh while her brother is pouting and crossing his over his chest.

“What if he's a bad guy?” Alex ask his sister eyeing your man from head to toe. Alizzah pinch his isde making him cry out in pain.

“No he's not, he is obviously her boyfriend. Besides, he's handsome.” She said as she fangirl over Gavin. You steal a glance at the blushing cop beside you. You stifle a laugh, he looks at you and smile a little. Suddenly he speaks.

“I heard you and your friend's talk.” You look at him and reminding yourself that you have to cancel your date today.

“Yeah sorry about that, I just can't say no to her. She's a single mother so I want to help her any way I can. Do you mind if we cancel our date today?” you ask him apologetically. He smile at you and gently pat you head.

“I don't mind. We can still go to the amusement park you know. They'll like it there.” He said as he glance at the kids now arguing whether Gavin is trustworthy or not. You chuckle at them.

“Come on, I'll introduce you.” You hold his hand dragging him to where the kids are. They are both seated on the couch looking at you when you reach the living room.

“Kids this is Gavin my boyfriend and Gavin this is Alizzah and this is Alex.” Alizzah seems so excited to find out the man's name while her brother is still skeptical.

“Uncle Daddy!” Alizzah get off the couch jumping at Gavin who thankfully catch her. He laugh and carefully put her down.

“Hello there Miss.” He squat down and gently pat her head. His amber eyes shows nothing but tenderness. Your heart melts at the sight. You then saw Alex carefully approach Gavin.

“Do you love my Auntie Mommy?” he looks so serious asking, that you can't help but laugh so you cover you mouth with your hand to avoid ruining the atmosphere. Gavin looks like he's taking the kid's words seriously.

“Yes I do Sir.” He address the little guy formally. You cross your arms over your chest full interest in the scene before you.

“Do you have a job to support her?” you raise an eyebrow at the question. You saw Gavin straighten his posture.

“I’m a cop Sir and yes I can support her.” He answered making Alex nod in acknowledgement.

“Do you promise to take good care of her and make her happy?” upon hearing the question, Gavin looks at you then answered.

“I promise to take good care of her and make her happy everyday as long as she allows me to.” He said it so seriously while staring deep into your eyes. You heart is beating so fast. Hearing Gavin's answer and seeing the look in his eyes, the little guy smiles.

“I trust you Uncle Daddy.” He then hugs Gavin and Alizzah rush in to hug them both. You watch the three all cuddle up on the couch.

“Auntie Mommy do you want to join us?” Gavin asks you, eyes shining brightly. You nod and joins them in a hug.

“Sorry we ruined your date.” They both said in unison. You and Gavin share a look. You pinch the twin's cheeks.

“Actually you didn't ruin it. Who wants to go to the amusement park?” you said as you watch their eyes twinkle and raise their hands excitedly. Gavin picks up Alizzah and you hold Alex's hand.

“Let’s go then.” Gavin said as he takes you other hand intertwining it with his. As you arrive at the amusement park, you went to many rides and play different games on every booth. The twins look so happy and so is Gavin. They seem to get closer as they talk with your man nonstop. You start to feel a little jealous but nonetheless you are happy. Soo enough, its pretty late. The four of you are heading home with Gavin carrying a sleeping Alex. You were surprised that the two get along very well. After his interrogation with the cop, he never left Gavin's side. As you arrive at you apartment, Gavin carefully lay Alex in the bed. You and Alizzah are sitting on the couch. She suddenly lean in and whisper.

“Auntie Mommy, I like your boyfriend. When will you get married?” your eyes widen. You look at her and see a pair of innocent eyes. You smile and hug her.

“I don't know yet sweetie but when I do, you'll be the first to know. Now go to sleep its late.” You kiss her hair and lift her to sit on your lap. You receive a text from your friend saying she'll pick up the twins tomorrow. After sending her an okay, you look down to see the girl sleeping. You feel Gavin sit beside you.

“Sorry, you're supposed to be relaxing but instead you're taking care of the kids with me.” You said, eyes apologetic. He shook his head smiling.

“Silly, you don't need to be sorry. I actually enjoyed it.” He kissed your lips sweetly. You rest you head in his chest as he holds you and the little girl in your arms in his embrace.

“Thank you.” You look up at him

“Thank you for being my Gavin.” He caress your head, his amber eyes is full of love.

“I've always been your Gavin since day one.” He said without breaking the smile on his beautiful face.

“You know, you're gonna be a great father someday.” His face showed a mixture of happiness and worry.

“You think so? You know I never had a good example of a father figure.” He said worry is now evident in his voice. Your heart breaks a little for him. You reach a hand to touch his cheek.

“I know you will. you're a good man Gavin. Your heart is pure and full of love. Besides, I felt your love first hand. Don't you trust me? Our future kids will love you and you will be a good father to them.” His worried face is now changed to a happy one.

“O-our future kids? You want to have a family with me?” you chuckle at him.

“Of course, that is if you wanted to.” Now is your turn to be worried and nervous. His eyes lit up and hugs you tighter.

“Of course I do, you're the only person I can think of starting a family with.” With that being said you feel like you're in cloud nine.

“I love you.” You said your voice full of emotion.

“I love you too.” He said kissing your head. You stayed like that for a while talking about the future. Dreams were created that night. Dreams full of nothing but love and happiness. You can't believe how lucky you are to have someone like Gavin in your life. You are so happy with him by your side. You can't possibly love another man more than you love him. After all, he showed you what love really is. Pure and untainted. Unconditional and wonderful.

Summary: When he say his usual insult to you, you decided to make fun of it but you're not ready to his respond once he caught you

You woke up to the sunlight that strike your face. Slowly you rose up from you desk to check the time, 4:30pm, your eyes widen as you remember that you're suppose to meet Victor to give a monthly report. Quickly grabbing your things, you make you way to LFG. You're in a rush so you ran to not make yourself even more late. As you are about to reach Victor's office, you see Goldman so you stop to greet him.

“Hey Goldman, Is Mr. CEO in the office?” you said in between breaths, fixing you hair and skirt. Believe it or not you grew close to Goldman as you became a regular in their building.

“Yeah, he's actually waiting for you.” He looks at you concern written in his face. You look like you've been chased by five dogs.

“Do you want some water? Go inside already. I'll bring it in the office.” He said as he push you through the door. Before you can even say no, you're already standing inside with Victor looking at you. His eyes trapping yours. You squirm under his gaze. You clear your throat ready to speak.

“You’re late.” He said, his voice indifferent.

“Yeah I'm sorry about that, I'm actually suppose to come here early but I accidentally fell asleep on my desk so..” you drag your words out as you hand him your report. He didn't say anything but just get the file from your hand. He sits in his chair and read it in silence. You were confident in your work so you expect some good feedback from him. Observing his face, you see no reaction from him. Suddenly he stands up and hands it back to you. After you take it you heard him say something.

“Do it again. Did you even proofread it?” he sigh

“I know I shouldn't have expected so much from you.” You shot your head up to look at him only to see his back. You glare at him, your blood boiling at his comment. Since he's not looking, you stick your tongue out. Crossing your arms over your chest, you mimic his next sentence while making the weirdest facial expression.

“Bad reports, no sense of punctuality and weird tastes. Your really going professional on being an idiot.” As you were busy mimicking him, you didn't see him turn around. He watches you make fun of him behind his back. You continue what you're doing until you realize he's no longer speaking. So you stop only to lock eyes with him. You froze when you met his stare. Chills run down your spine. Busted. You can't decipher what expression he has as he looks at you.

“U-uhh…H-have you been watching me this whole time?” you stutter as you fail to recover from the shock. He slowly walk towards you so you take a step back. He continue to step forward and you backing up until your back hit the door of his office. He puts his hands on the door on either side of your head trapping you. He leans his head closer to yours so you move back if that is even possible. You can feel his breath fanning your lips. You clench the folder in your hands tighter as you held your breath.

“Was it fun mocking me? Perhaps I've been going easy on you.” He speaks so close that you can't utter a single word or else your lips would touch. Seems like he wasn't expecting you to answer either so you just stand there staring at each other. His eyes no longer cold but you see a glint of something foreign in them. Something that calms your beating heart. Suddenly you see his eyes dart towards you lips. You swallow hard. Just as he is about to lean forward, a knock was heard behind you. Victor takes a step back giving you a chance to breath. You quickly get away from the door as it opens revealing Goldman who's holding a glass of water and a file in hand.

“Here’s your water. Sorry it took so long. Boss here's your file.” He hands you the glass of water, gives Victor the file and left you to alone again after you thank him. You gulp down the water in one go and put the glass in Victor's desk.

“Dummy, drink slowly next time, you might choke if you drink like that.” He told you with his brows crashing. You nod your head.

“Yeah, next time I will.” you said as you look at him. The atmosphere earlier is long gone. You don't know what took Goldman so long to get you water but you're thankful he did. You have no idea how to react to his bold action earlier. You're used to him being cold and distant but the Victor that you saw a while ago is like entirely someone else. You fix yourself and look at him he is already seated in his chair.

“I should get going. I'll just send you and update on the redo of the report. Goodbye.” Just as you are about to open the door you hear him stand up.

“Wait.” He walks up to you and holds your hand. He opens the door and usher you out.

“What are you doing?” you look at his back as he drags you out of the building. His employees giving you glances.

“I’ll take you home. Would you want a souvenir meal?” He briefly look at me waiting for my answer before looking forward and continue walking. You smile as you look at your intertwined hands. You enjoy a hearty meal at souvenir with a little chit chat from Mr. Mills. Victor then takes you home and even walk you to your door. His harsh words earlier has been long forgotten. Perhaps he's not that heartless after all. Perhaps the Victor that pinned you at the door is also the same cold man who always call you idiot. Maybe calling you dummy is his way of showing affection. Maybe the icy wall that he displays is only a front waiting to be melt by the right person.
