Hello! Could you write headcanons for the four dragons with a female s/o who is sick and how they would go about taking care of her?

Hello Anon! Thanks for sending this in when you did! I'm so sorry about the long wait. Every time I get requests about the dragons fretting about their s/o for any reason, I get so excited because they're all very cute (and maybe even cuter when they worry)

These might be reminiscent of my injured s/o HCs with Jaeha and Kija as the topic of discussion is somewhat similar! (ailed s/o with dragons caring for them)

I also happened to fall sick while working on this LMAO, but side note: using my platform to say please mask up when you go about your day! Masking is a way to protect yourself and your community members, especially those at risk/who suffer chronic conditions due to or not due to the novel COVID-19 virus— the pandemic is not over!

Pronouns for this ask will be she/her as used by anon!

Kija

Kija is a member number 1 of the overprotective squad. He already wishes to treat you delicately under normal circumstances, so if ailment befalls you, you can bet that protective nature will flare up more. He makes sure you're in bed and resting no matter what you say and takes care of all of your chores for you.

Much like he would in my injured s/o HCs, Kija would want to be as knowledgable as he could be about your illness and would ask Yun questions about your condition, unusually attentive and serious while taking the info in.

He's very worried about you! It agonizes him to see you suffer headaches or sore throats— anything that your illness inflicts on you, he would take in your stead and he would often voice this to you at your bedside.

He'd help you eat and feed you without question, and maybe even force feed you before Yun tells him not to bother you too much in case you're suffering from headache/unable to stomach anything, but of course you make sure he knows his intentions are appreciated.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Kija is ecstatic he gets to take care of you. He thinks it ill-hearted on his part to be happy about your unfortunate state, but really, he's just happy to be at your service in any way he can. Your being sick only increases the opportunities for him to show you how much he loves you and how much he cares.

Shinah

Shinah is member number 2 of the overprotective squad. He'd go to great lengths to make sure you're well-accommodated and ask Ao to be with you at times he may have to leave your side. He gives you his fluffy coat of fur and braves the cold without it because he thinks you need it much, much, much more than he does.

He sends you glares if you try to be proactive. He really really wants you to rest because Yun advised it and said it would go away faster if you slept and ate and don't overexert yourself.

While he's out in the field and happens upon some wildflowers and thinks of you, he may hear from Yona or Zeno that he could give them to you as a get-well-soon gift. Even though it's a form of courtesy, he wants to believe that it's like a prayer for you to get well soon and thinks it will help you fight your illness.

He always keeps an eye on you. Every time you run out of water, Shinah would make sure to fetch some more for you. You don't even have to ask— if he sees that your cup is empty, he'll be right back with it full. Even at night, if he happens to be on night guard duty, he'll care for you all the same.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Shinah loves taking care of you. He feels like he's doing something good and that makes him feel good and worthy. He has a bit of a hard time expressing his feelings for you in words, so in some ways similar to Kija, Shinah would take this time to make sure you're well-taken care of because he wants you to know how much you mean to him. He really, really wants you to get better.

Jaeha

While you're sick, Jaeha often teases you with things like feeding you dinner and saying that you must've gotten sick so he can dote on you, or hoping that he'll catch your illness and be in bed with you, but he's actually really careful (worried) and observant of your state and wants to make sure you're comfortable.

As always, he cares much more than he lets on, and does things for you outside of the periphery of you and the group. Once he's caught, he plays it cool (like he always does) and keeps going about his day doing things for you.

While you're sleeping, he'd often sit there and watch your peaceful expression. If you have fever, he'd be there to change out the wet towel on your forehead, but he's otherwise there just watching you. When someone else walks in on him, he's unusually startled— I'll let you decipher why on your own. :) (spoiler: he's embarrassed for no reason and gets more embarrassed because he felt embarrassed but he plays it cool— it's complicated. TLDR Jaeha's silly but we already know that.)

Generally, Jaeha may tease you but his true feelings can be gleaned from how he blows on the steaming porridge in your spoon and the way he pulls the covers over you when you lay down.

I don't know how to word this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: Jaeha secretly loves the intimacy of being at your side and having you rely on him. He'd be quite open about how he's loving it (it'd come off a bit teasing and as typically non-betraying-his-feelings as Jaeha can get), but there's a deeper emotion that he's feeling while he goes through the motions of taking care of you that he wants to keep all to himself.

Zeno

When you're sick, Zeno already knows the motions of caring for you pretty well. He's his usual cheery self and his sunny disposition almost cheers your recovery on like a cheerleader.

Outside of caring for you, Zeno likes picking flowers as get-well-soon gifts. He likes to tell you all about the shenanigans of the group that you may have missed in your time resting, and his lips stretch into that heart-wrenching smile of his as he watches you giggle about how silly the group can be.

Zeno sticks by you the most out of the three dragons. Because he's immune to illness and fatigue, Yun trusts him to look after you the most while he may have his hands tied with other chores. Because of his inability to feel fatigue, Zeno also rests by you while you sleep despite your many demands for him to get some sleep. "Zeno doesn't need sleep, so you rest well, Y/N." You can hear his care in the way your name rolls off his tongue despite his infrequent use of it.

When he feeds you, he lightly brushes his lips against the spoon to make sure it's just the right temperature.

I don't know what to call this factor; something like this applies to all the dragons in different ways, so I'll tell you how I think they'd go about processing and expressing this: He finds your sick state incredibly endearing— it evokes a lot of memories for him that are bittersweet but nevertheless precious. He knows your pain will only be temporary and takes each action he takes to care for you with a profound contentedness and hope that he'll see you bounce back within a few weeks' time.

Life Update/Posting so you guys know I'm not abandoning you

I got sick 💀💀😭😭 I got sick and I'm still working on school stuff at the same time and dealing with other orgs I'm a part of in my community, so while I wanted to have one of my asks cleared by the end of this month, I'd say to expect it come February. Sorry. 💀💀💀

I managed to get one of my close friends into Akayona too, so I'm excited to write more for this blog not just for yall, but for them as well.

I can't really think while I'm sick, and I'm using every last fibre of my braincells to write up an assignment. Standard schooling is brutal. Prestige in education is a scam. down with the ivory tower . drop out raahhhhhhh

That being said, it's a coincidence because my next req post will be about reader being sick. and I'm sick. Haha

I've been so worried about leaving this blog be again that I've thought about just breaking my long posts up into two parts, but i feel like that would be a bit disingenuous, idk if thats the right word. tldr im not gonna. just know i still worry. but im also still writing. just not now bc im sick.

insignificant rambles

I've been looking over my old stuff lately, and I get the urge to rewrite some of them— particularly my old nsfw hcs for Suwon. I feel that I understand him much better as a character now as opposed to before! So if I post more Suwon NSFW hcs out of the blue, that will be why. It keeps me up at night.

Also, the semester at my school just started! But I'll still do my best to keep this blog active, at least more than it was before. Please be assured that even if I don't post, I am still thinking about this blog if not plotting out my asks, and have no plans to go into another hiatus unless absolutely necessary.

I've gotten more and more notes and new people following me recently! I didn't expect that to happen so quickly, like I fully expected to be posting into the void for a while until the tumblr algorithm picks me up, but welcome and thank you for reading! Please don't look too hard at my old (~2020) posts, even though they're all I have until I get more requests out. I was inexperienced and I'm so desperate to show you all the writer i've become. ☠️ looking back at my old work is cause for an odd mix of pride and embarrassment for me. I definitely don't think I'll rewrite everything, but I'm definitely thinking about the Suwon NSFW hcs. They keep me up at night. even if informally i might post some thoughts about it. Hello!! What do you think of a scenario where a goofy reader goes quiet bc of yoon says something like “can you be serious for one second? I wish you’d just stop!” bc he’s stressed out. Then reader stays quiet for a few hours and the HHB don’t really notice until yoon catches her by herself and realizes she’s crying and was trying to hide she felt bad about it cue clearing misunderstandings and fluff!!

I think that sounds very interesting anon! Thank you for sending this one in! Yoon is so cute and I love writing him. Cue silly squabble followed by fluff! I hope this is good, I'm still a little rusty after prying my way out of writer's block and this is my first time writing a scenario request in a WHILE. But I had so much fun writing him! So once again, thank you! I hope any Yun fans reading enjoy it too.

Side note- I never know how to spell his name. Akayona seems based off of ancient korea with the names at least so Yoon feels right to me but I'm so used to seeing it spelt as Yun! I'll keep to Yoon in the writing for now, but what do you guys think?

Yoon

The past few days have been awfully tense for the Happy Hungry Bunch and the Dark Dragon. Resources have been low and all your faces are fresh in the minds of the Kouka citizens. You’re on the run. Your access to village traders and merchants isn’t as lenient as it used to be— you’re forced to wear your hoods over your heads and keep out of sight.

On guard duty, while you and Yoon weren’t looking, a bundle of herbs was carried off by curious critters into the depths of the forest. Luckily, it was nothing you didn’t have seconds of, but resources being as scarce as they were, it weighed on Yoon’s mind quite heavily. 

“Crap— What were you doing??? That could’ve— ugh—” The young genius clenched his hands into fists as his mind turned upside down, trying to find a solution that didn’t exist. His fists loosened, and he found nothing but the end of his sentence. “That was at least one injury’s worth of herbs. Those plants don't grow around here.” He said, turning his back to you and crouching near his bag. He knew this wasn’t the time for an argument. He himself didn’t quite have the energy for one either.

"Well, at least the animals won’t have to worry about an injury then," you smirk, trying to ease his mind with a cute joke. You smile at the thought of raccoons putting their opposable thumbs to use with a rock somewhere, pounding the weeds the way you see Yoon do so often.

Unfortunately, your joke didn't quite land with him.

“Are you being serious?” He turns to you as he's crouched.

“I dunno, when am I ever?” You chuckle, not noticing how his tone is darker than it usually is when he banters with you. You smile at him in hopes that your expression would make him realize the situation itself wasn’t as dire as he made it out to be.

Yoon’s brows furrowed, and your smile faded. He rapidly shot up from his spot, his beautiful features scrunched in a scowl.

“Well, would it kill you to be serious for once??” He thundered. You blinked, trying to process his tone, why he was so upset— and why at you. His gaze grew more intense at your silence. “This is no time to be joking around! Do you realize that??? We’re already low on resources as it is, and you know with this group, injuries are as inevitable as there are stars in the sky!” 

Yoon bit his lip to try to put a lid on his boiling emotions. This was not the time. He needs to prepare for dinner.

“What’s wrong?” A voice emerges from beyond the tree trunks. Yona hurriedly steps through the beaten path and takes a glance back and forth between your expressions.

“What, are they fighting or something?” Hak strolls in, carrying a stack of twigs in his arm. You stay quiet. You don’t know how to answer that, at least not seriously, you suppose.

“Not really.” Yoon mumbles, turning his back to you once more to sort through the edible flora he’s found throughout the day. “Leave your wood by that trunk, Thunder Beast.” 

Your face feels numb at his answer, and you stare at the small back that never failed to support you and everyone else around him. His words echo in your head as footsteps approach you.

“Are you alright?” A dignified voice addresses you, and you look up to see Kija gazing at you with concern laced in his brow. You force a smile.

“Y-Yeah! Why wouldn’t I be? Yoon and I kinda messed up a bit, that’s all… Some raccoons had their way with some of his herbs.” You mutter, busying yourself by taking some materials the returning group brought back.

Kija eyed you with concern as you set down some dry leaves for kindle, but didn’t pry.

The tree branches rustled as the wind carried night across the sky. The fire lapped at the cold air of the season, and dinner was ready. Scooping some soup into some wooden bowls, Yoon bellowed the signal.

“Okay, good work everyone! Dinner’s ready.”

Six bodies crowded around the pot. Yoon raised a brow at the odd void he felt after seeing everyone present— everyone but you.

“Where’s Y/N?”

His question incited many heads to turn and scan the area.

“Ah… come to think of it, she said she’d be going to the bathroom…” Jaeha noted. “Quite some time ago,” he smirked awkwardly, trying to mask his worry as he noted the different colour of the sky now as opposed to when you spoke to him.

Concern began to shape Yoon’s features. “A while ago? Which way did she go?” His heart and mind began to race. His eyes wavered as he stood, and he set the ladle down in the pot filled with a concoction of gruel and herbs. 

“She stepped off somewhere that way. I’ll take Shinah with me, so you can sit tight, Yoon. I’ll bring your little darling back soon.” Jaeha winked. Yoon felt his cheeks warm.

 “She’s not!—” The pretty boy genius cut himself off as he swallowed his pride. This was not the time to fall for Jaeha’s antics. He sifted through the possible fates you might be subject to while his eyes aren’t on you, and a sudden pang hit his chest. At the same moment, Yoon struck an odd realization. 

Were you bothered by what he said earlier? 

Concern started to blur into frustration, annoyance, and guilt. “God… you idiot! What a pain...” He exclaimed under his breath. “Ugh, I’ll look for her! I need to talk to her!” He blurted, hurriedly gathering a few supplies and setting off towards the direction Jaeha pointed in.

It didn’t take long for Yoon to find you. You were a little ways out by the river. When he found you, the moonlight kissed your tears as they fell. You were hugging your knees as you watched the steady flow of the stream. The young boy clenched his chest in an attempt to quell an ache he knew he caused.

“Hey, Y/N—” He stepped closer to you, feeling his cheeks warm from the awkward predicament he’s put himself in. He tried to gather the words, but they just didn’t seem to want to come out. “You know, I—”

“I’m sorry,” you managed to say. He held his tongue. His throat felt tight.

That was his line.

“We’re dying just to survive— and I’m making light of things, I’m sorry. You were right.” You muttered through your sleeves as you wiped your disobedient tears. Yoon blinked. That’s not what he wanted to hear, and he was sure that wasn’t not the point you wanted to come to.

“That’s— That’s not it, Y/N, I—” He sighed. He set down his makeshift light source and sat down a ruler’s distance from you. “I’m the one who should be saying sorry. I completely went overboard—” He turned his gaze to the river. “I shouldn’t have raised my voice at you like that.” He balled his hands into fists on his lap as he fretted over you dimming your warm radiance all because of him. As silly as you were, your idiocy kept the group smiling on some of your worst nights— some of his worst nights— and was a warmth that was irreplaceable in his eyes. “We might be dying to survive, but— w-we can afford to spare a few weeds here and there.” He spoke haughtily.

His blue eyes shined as he lifted his gaze. He took a few shy glances at you before mumbling.  

“A-At least the animals won’t have to worry about an injury anymore, right?”

You turned to him in surprise. His cheeks were red and he looked away when you looked at him. A smile creeped on your lips— that one definitely landed for you.

"Yeah. Do you think raccoons would grind the herbs the way you do? They've got opposable thumbs, don't they?"

His eyes widened as his gaze returned to you. Your smile was infectious, and he began to feel its symptoms.

"You idiot." He whispered. "Even if they did, they wouldn't be able to do it half as well as I can."

With that, you both chuckled in each other's company before you made your way back for dinner.

Hi anon! Sorry for the wait, you absolutely can have headcanons of that! I think Kija and Jaeha especially would be fun watching when it comes to an injured s/o, so thanks for sending this in!

Because anon has used she/her pronouns, I will also be employing that in these headcanons where applicable!

Kija

When Kija finds you with Yoon treating your injuries, he is immensely and instantly worried. Kija's the type to fret a lot about small things, so if he could take ten thousand arrows to soothe your pain, he would do it.

But that's unfortunately not how healing works, so he refuses to leave your side until Yoon finishes dressing you and tells him that it'll heal without an issue. He may refuse to leave your side after that too.

He'd ask Yoon about several things and try to change the dressings himself based on what he's learned. Unfortunately, his abilities are no where near as skilled as Yoon's, and the claws bestowed on his right hand do little but wear the bandages or tear them. He's clumsy trying to take care of you, to say the least.

He'd feel frustrated at how useless he is, how only Yoon can help you and how he failed to prevent your injury in the first place, no matter what he was doing at the time.

Until you recover, he does everything in his power so that you rest. You're forced to concede to his adorable authoratative tone every time you try to move. "Do not move! Yoon has instructed that you rest! I shall fetch that for you, Love." He attaches that pet name to each of his sentences like he's happy to be at your beck and call while you heal, and he unabashedly is.

This is exclusively figurative and metaphorical— but he's sort of like a puppy that tries to lick at your wounds if that makes any sense. The licking is more like staying by your side, making sure you have everything you need and keeping you company. Note the futility of the wound-licking in terms of actual wound-healing. It's just nice because he very obviously cares.

"It's only natural for the duty to be mine to care for Y/N until she recovers!"

Jaeha

Jaeha would be fascinating to watch. Despite his usual attitude, he's visibly shaken when he sees your bandages soaked in red. Soaked in red on your body.

He'd revert back to himself once he registers that you're in Yoon's hands and alive, making a snarky comment on what you've gotten yourself into this time. "I leave you for a mere moment and you've gotten hurt? Looks like I can't let you out of my sight now, Dear."

Although he wants to stick by you and take care of you, he can't seem to forfeit his pride as he does so. He makes himself more composed than how he really feels as he changes your bandages. And he didn't volunteer to, nor had he asked Yoon about it. Yoon simply told him to, of course, and who was he to deny Yoon and refuse time next to you? Even though he could just do it if he wanted to and it would make no difference.

While you're injured, Jaeha's fraught with a silly internal conflict as he navigates his feelings of worry towards you and a fear of acting like he's too worried. That explains why he'd rather you didn't know about how intentional his close proximity to you is. How he'd keep the herbs Yoon used on you in mind and excuse himself and leave for the fields without telling anyone what he was up to.

If you're injured and unable to use your hands, he'd feed you while teasing you about it. As if he's not absolutely ecstatic to be in the position he's in right now.

Throughout your recovery, he'll let his walls down here and there, often while griping about how hopeless you are, when he more means to convey how hopeless he is— how hopelessly carved into his being you are, and your injury would only serve as proof of that.

Shinah

Because of his extraordinary eyesight, the dark isn't a problem for Shinah. But when you curl up a little tighter under your covers, or he catches the way your chest heaves up and down in the dark quiet of the night, the dark is now his problem whether he realizes it or not.

When he first found out you were scared of the dark, he tried in his own awkward way to help you be more accustomed to it. He'd take your hand to tell you he's there with you, or pat your head before mumbling something like "See... the dark... isn't scary."

"I can... protect you... so it's okay..."

Ever since then, he would be more concerned about how you were feeling when night fell, or if the group was in a particularly dark space. You'd feel a strong, looming presence over you that would make you want to shrink a little more until you realized it was just Shinah's intense gaze. He'd ask you every time. "Are you... okay?"

He'd move his pillow a little closer to you, or tell Ao to accompany you so you aren't alone. He'd even be willing to stay up and sit next to you until you fall asleep.

While the group travels under the darkness of night, he'd situate you in the centre of the group, or hold your hand while he does so, so that no matter what lurks in the dark forest, the first thing you see is him and the others.

Shinah is quiet but observant and infinitely kind to those he cares about, so without a doubt, he'd try to accommodate for your fear in every way he can. He might even go a little overboard and can be a little smothering in his consideration of you, but that's just how he is.

He'd ask Yoon about ways to keep fireflies for you, grabbing a glass jar the next time you all come across a merchant or a village, determined to go hunting for the luminescent bugs every night so you have a soft source of light with you when you sleep.

He'd try the best he can to show you that the dark isn't scary, and especially not while you're with him. From fireflies to the moonlight, Shinah would do anything to illuminate the darkness you're so afraid of. Much like his name suggests, Shinah is the quiet moonlight that shines through the dark and helps you feel safe throughout the night.

Because this has happened a few times now, I will now be deleting requests without responding to them if they are sent while the ask box has CLOSED in my bio. I greatly appreciate your anticipations, especially since I expected a longer wait to get notes after being gone for so long! Soowon

Soowon is someone who is calculated and logical. He doesn't and actively refuses to let himself be swayed by anything he might deem unnecessary. But in your case, it's different.

Having you by his side was already a poor blunder on his part. Falling for you was even worse— but now that he's realized he can't let go of you, he'll work things out. He always does. But his relationship with you is proving difficult. Despite his condition and position, he's selfish and determined to keep you close to him, even if physical distances rip you apart.

When that physical distance favoured another man in the palace over him, he stared blankly at you. But with Kyesook and Joodoh behind him asking what's wrong, he tears his gaze from the hand you bring to your lips as you stand there giggling with one of the soldiers. Despite the familiar ache in his chest, he must keep up appearances. Even though it doesn't fool his retainers, Kyesook and Joodoh both opt to stay quiet. When it's about you, things get more complicated.

When Soowon's jealous, you wouldn't know. He'd cage those raw feelings within the depths of his soul and act as though they never came to being. Loving you was forcing a vulnerability out of him that was hard to stand, often shining through minor missteps. Jealousy was no exception.

His Majesty would be said to seem a little more airheaded than usual from how frequent it seemed that he was not in the present moment. Things would go in through one ear and out the other. He'd be spoken to and ask the speaker to repeat themselves. He'd stare blankly at the table or his book, not making out the wood nor the words— as if he was looking at something completely different.

And he is. He's much too occupied by the sight of you with another man, and it's becoming needlessly annoying to navigate. The more he tries to focus on his work, the worse the ache gets.

You already don't get to see him as often as he'd like, so when jealousy comes in the picture, Soowon struggles quite a bit. It's not until Joodoh throws you at him that he may even realize it's jealousy that's building fog in his head.

Despite Soowon's intelligence, when it comes to romantic love, he's completely dumbfounded. The jealousy he feels with you is different from that he felt when he was younger, seeing Hak and Yona dream about a future that would never come to be. Different from the envy he felt for various things. Instead, jealousy with you was ugly, childish, needlessly selfish, rearing its head during the most undesirable of times. It felt like something out of his control, and he hated that.

He wouldn't even know what to tell you if his feelings slipped into his behaviour—if you noticed. He knows himself there's no real, tangible solution you could offer to clear the ache and the fog.

He knew that, but when he'd see you after having a bout of jealousy sprout, his body would move on its own, seeking a solution he couldn't comprehend: having you within his embrace. His hands would be drawn to you no matter how much he told them to stay at his sides.

There's that lack of insight and control he hated so much. When it's you, things are different. He selfishly acts according to his own desires as simply Soowon, not a King. You bring out a childishness in him that he dislikes, because it's unnecessary.

But he can't help but feel more at ease as the ache and fog disperses.

Jaeha definitely has experience in the passionate intimacies of love, so he'd definitely take good care of you while he had you in his bed (or a tent, or against the trunk of a tree). He loves to see your face as you take him (with protection because I think Jaeha would surprisingly be the dragon to care the most about that, also because he's the most knowledgeable and most likely to fuck lol)

The green dragon, albeit sensual, is also a romantic at his core. Depending on whether it was a one night stand or a long-term relationship, the night may go quite differently. If it was a one night stand, you'd have a passionate night to remember with a mysterious man who somehow knew how to press all the right buttons on you. However, if it was a night of intimacy from a long-term relationship, it would be like that and more, but less mysterious. He wouldn't hide his abhorred scaled leg from you with the darkness of the room or blankets or the wrinkles of his pants, and whenever your eyes met, you'd swear you caught a glimpse of adoration and tenderness in his gaze.

Nevertheless, despite his relaxed and carefree demeanour, Jaeha is an observant and careful man. He loves to see you writhe and loves to writhe for you. Drowning in pleasure with you anytime, anywhere, is an honour he'd never take for granted.

Pitter Patter

Wind flows through the fields, bringing a cold breeze as droplets of rain begin tapping the earth. You lift your gaze from the verdant medicine plant in your hands to the only sun in sight- Zeno.

"Why don't we go somewhere to wait this out?" He says, reaching out a hand. You hold the herbs close to your chest and you take it, finding yourself being dragged away someplace else. You take note of the way that your foot begins to ease faster and faster into the dirt as you both make a run for it.

"Won't the others worry?" You wonder, you're a little ways from the group, and the rain is certain to prolong your return.

"I'm sure they'll figure it out," he grips your hand tighter. "So for now, let's just focus on us," he beams.

Zeno manages to find a cave, and the two of you step in.

"Wow~ It's really pouring out there..." he mutters, observing the darkened, wet stone, similar in colour to that of the clouds over the horizon. He watches the violent, almost unforgiving manner of the raindrops falling from the sky. The wind, now restless, rips through trees below.

A storm was coming.

The blond pursed his lips- the two of them should be fine here.

As Zeno approaches your side, nerves begin to bunch, one by one, as the lack of proper lighting makes way for unsettling thoughts, threatening you with ominous promises. You run scenarios upon scenarios in your head, each getting worse per play. Lips tremble and purse, the cave appears to be getting darker, and darker. Cold fingers grip shoulders riddled with goosebumps, you feel your jaw clench as your expression goes blank. Your eyebrows furrow slightly, and twitch occasionally as your mind sews together images of the worse case scenario. The cold isn't helping your pale complexion, and Zeno starts to notice. His lips part, but before he could say anything, a loud, hammering thunder crashes in the sky, rumbling, as if threatening to tear the earth apart. A small whimper elicits from your lips, and you almost succumb to the urge to cover your ears.

But you're a big kid now, and you need to get over this sooner or later. You're travelling with Yona's group now and they have no place for something like this. Your chest slowly expands and deflates as you slowly deepen your intake of air.

"Are you feeling okay?" Zeno asks, as a familiar warmth finds itself on your shoulder. You swallow your fear and manage to face him.

"Um- yeah, I'm fine, haha- it's just a little cold, is all," you utter.

His turquoise gaze fell upon your shivering state. The temperature did drop significantly due to the shift in weather. He huddles closer to you, in an attempt to share his warmth. Though, something told him that it only played a small role to something bigger within you.

You try shifting to a more comfortable position, pushing on your hand- until you feel a sharp pain sear through your palm.

The blond is alerted upon your hiss. Grabbing your hand, his eyes widen at the blood oozing from a shallow cut on your palm. Grimacing, you reassure him that you're okay and it's just a scratch.

"We should clean it up and wrap it!- or so Yoon would say," Zeno smiled, approaching the exit of the cave, holding up what seems to be cupped hands, and returning with a small handful of fresh rainwater. He poured the water over your wound, making sure it ran over it before falling to the cave ground. Ripping a piece of fabric from his clothes, he wraps it around your hand. You utter a small "thank you."

A warm expression spreads on his face as he says "you're welcome." He gets up on his feet, brushing off the dirt on his knees. "I'll go tell the others that we're safe," he blurts out.

A wave of worry washes over you, crashing, akin to that of the second thunder.

Zeno feels a hand tugging on his sleeve. Looking down, he regards furrowed brows and wide eyes, but they disappear the moment he catches them.

"Are you.... scared of thunder?" He asks, innocently. You retreat the hand gripping onto his sleeve. Silent, you look away in embarassment. He crouches and you're met with a warm smile and a palm on your head. Without words, the blond wraps one end of his scarf around you, him being wrapped with the other end, and you're engulfed in his scent, and his warmth. Touching shoulders, he speaks of silent comfort. Gripping his scarf closer to your chin, you mutter:

"Thank you."

Soowon and hak having an s/o who is evil

Hi hi!! Thank you for requesting! I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "evil", but I hope this suffices! Soo won has an s/o that is formerly a trained hitman/assassin that specializes in seducing their target, and Hak's evil s/o would be someone reporting back to his majesty's right hand man about Yona and their whereabouts.

If Soowon had an evil s/o, it's likely he'll find out faster than you may think. When he does, you can tell. You'd be able to tell from the sorrow in his eyes and the now distant way he treats you. Although he knows now, he'll keep quiet about it for a while, he needs time to process.

When he found out you were an assassin from an enemy country tasked to take his head, he's embarrassed. He's awfully ashamed of himself that he had let this happen. The seemingly all-seeing and always-two-steps-ahead-of-his-opponent Soowon had failed, and with it came the potential cost of his life. He could not be alone with you anymore.

And yet, he's been alone with you so many times. In the garden, especially, one of your favourite places to visit. He hates that he remembers that.

The hope he had that maybe, maybe you fell for him too died when you brought him a cup of tea. Innocently, amorously, offering him a cup as his lover. Soowon had placed his trust elsewhere, somewhere far, far away from you.

He would then relay what he's found about you, to you. He knew it was risky, but that explains the hidden guards at the ready if you ever tried anything.

You stare at him, mouth agape and disappointed in yourself for your lover had found out your dark secret. You didn't want it to happen like this, not like this. You had also fallen in love with the man after years, literal years trying to seduce him, and in the end, maybe he seduced you too.

Because of that, you planned on telling him at some point, coming clean about your background and why you two really met.

But now he knew. He knew and could very well not love you anymore.

The thought of separating pained you and you tell him about how he shouldn't worry. As he is the fool for falling for his assassin, and you are the fool for falling for their target.

Son Hak

When Hak finds out your true intentions, you're lucky that you're even alive.

You had accepted the complex and difficult mission of locating Princess Yona, and staying with them to report back to your superior, Kye Sook.

Just as you were being notified that Princess Yona and Hak were no longer of this world, you catch a glimmer of that familiar fiery-red hair and the huge muscle standing next to her.

You were very skilled to tail them, but not skilled enough to last long. Hak had noticed your presence.

You managed to convice them that you're no one suspicious and even threw in a sad back story to really hit it home. Princess Yona was always a softie, after all.

After months and months of travelling with them, you sorta develop a crush on Hak so big, it's practically the size of him. You two got along and hit it off with each other.

That is, until he found out about your little secret.

When I say you should be dead, I mean. You should be dead.

The only reason you're not is because Princess Yona had threw herself between you two. She manages to reason with Hak, saying that if they play their cards well they could get inside info on how the castle is doing. If they were to kill you now, that'd only put them in a bad place.

He manages to cool off, but he isn't very friendly with you.

It would be a long while until you regain his trust,
