To say that Rihoko feels robbed of vital experiences during her teenage years would be the understatement of the year. Because of the first few spirit sightings, she never felt as if she could be normal or will ever would be normal. After being told that she was sick because of the sighting, she certainly felt limited and weighed down during the remainder of her high school career, her short-lived college career, and even after her return to Karakura. Because of this, she's always made it a point to be outgoing and fun-loving as she was before while unfortunately making a few reckless spur of the moment decisions on the way as well.
