Some people are in dead fandoms, some people have rare ships, but it takes a strong soldier to ship a rare ship in a dead fandom
Sebchase nation I’m proud of us (there’s maybe 2 of us on a good day)

ik this is just a head canon and lisa/other creatives on the show had no intentions of alluding to this but….
why is wille so autistic-coded? ik im not the only who sees it cause i feel like its so blatant…. i could be projecting onto him for sure cause i tend to do that with my fav characters, but this time i really really feel like the dude could be autistic and not just because i love him
like…. the whole “thanks for explaining the schedule” scene in s1 was giving autism. wille angrily squatting on his desk and gripping his hair in s2 was giving autism. him (unconsciously?) running his knuckles over rocks while on call with his mother in s3 was giving autism. the way he stares so intensely and has such strong emotional AND physical reactions to situations and even has some behavioral tics that i’ve noticed….
i can’t be crazy. idk these could all just be the anxiety and other mental illnesses he’s harboring from all the trauma he’s received but…. idk it feels autistic to me
wille is autistic and ik it wasn’t intentional to write him that way but it also feels so blatant-

piggybacking off that anon awhile ago who speculated about wille being being autistic cause i love this headcanon.
this being such a widely accepted headcanon throughout the fandom (from what i’ve seen at least) is everything to me cause edvin really gave us a lot of evidence to back it up. and when it comes to characters who aren’t vocally stated to be autistic in canon, people sometimes refuse to accept interpretations of that character being neurodivergent. but im glad the yr fandom isn’t that way. we have sara who is canonically autistic and despite all the hate she’s (often times, rightfully) received, i think she’s amazing representation and im glad the show doesn’t attempt to sugarcoat or downplay that part of her. wille, to me, also feels like representation even tho its not technically canon. i relate to the way he conducts himself and even thinks. obviously, his way of thinking is a lil corrupted by the way he grew up, but i can see a lot of myself in the way he misses social cues, can be narrow minded at times, and often messes up by trying to do what he thought/interpreted was the right thing.
i think wille sees and interacts with the world differently and not just because he’s grown up a royal. i think he’s undiagnosed autistic and has had to mask his entire life

Thinking about how Sara's autism, combined with her family trauma, probably contributed a lot to her obsession with joining the upper crust of Hillerska...
People on the spectrum have trouble understanding the norms of social interactions, the give and take of conversation, etc. At her last school, Sara was bullied by her classmates for being different and we know that she has a very strong negative association with them because of it (" a diverse bunch of losers" i believe she calls them). Those kids were middle/working class kids. At the same time, she witnessed her dad- a working class dad - descend into addiction/abuse patterns, and her mom staying with him because she couldn't afford to leave.
It makes sense to me that Sara would look at the elites of Hillerska with their pretty clothing, nice manners, sophisticated hobbies, and most importantly - clearly defined protocols and rules of social interaction, and be completely drawn in. It's so far removed from her chaotic, mean, ugly former experiences, it must be easy to buy into into their self-assumed class superiority. Finally! She can be told explicitly how to address someone, when to smile, at what times she can talk. Heaven! It doesn't even matter that they're closed off and unwelcoming to outsiders. That's understandable, and maybe even a bonus - Sara wants to distance herself as much as possible from all the people who tormented her in the past, and without the option of changing cities, a symbolic move upwards is the clearest choice.
Of course, while she is viewing this new life through rose colored glasses, distracted by the glitz and the glam, she misses all of the ugliness and deceit that is, in fact, pervasive within this new world of hers.

this is like 100% petty all things considered but i just can’t wait until some of u learn that it is absolutely normal for people of any age to refer to their dads as “daddy” in many parts of the south like it isn’t a red flag there. 60 year old women in my family still refer to their dads as “daddy.” and btw i think anyone should be allowed to call their own fathers whatever they want without someone either making it nasty or being accusatory like don’t you get tired of making ppl uncomfortable for no reason

Here's a reminder that Kaz tricked a grown ass man into calling the vehicle he drove for a living "the boo-boo car," under the false pretense that he can't pronounce Ambulance— which we know he can do because he literally did it episode 1 or 2, and then he did it again in Lab Rats vs Mighty Med— And he got away with it.
