4. Favorite dish specific for your country?
Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes). Not the thick ones tho; just the more thinly sliced ones.
7. Three words from your native language that you like the most?
I'll try to spell this word as best as I can (tigre is usually written in Ge'ez). "Feeshat Kaerray"; it's a word some people (who speak tigre) use for mushrooms. But it literally means "fart of a hyena" which I think is quite hilarious. Like who and how did they come up with that? Was someone exposed to a hyena's fart and thought it kinda smells like this one thing he/she ate or came across while hunting for dinner? What was the process?!
Also "sachte" (a german synonym for careful\gentle or cautious) and "hogga" ("sit" in the swabian dialect).
9. Which of your neighbouring countries would you like to visit most/know best?
Probably switzerland since I've got family there.
13. Does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?
I ain't too well versed in this but I learned that some people over here think you earn bad luck if you wish someone a happy birthday before the actual birthday. I didn't even know that most of my life, I just thought it didn't make sense to wish someone a happy birthday before the actual birthday.
