Are you a mom in Southern California with a kid whose name ends with -ee, -ey, -eigh, -yn and/or includes x, y or z? Here's how your life is going to turn out.

At age 2 you sign up your kid to OCPAA, where she debuts her first solo at age 5. However, at age 9-11 you and/or your kid realizes that a) you ooutgrew the choreo like 2 years ago, and b) that conventions are the place to be. Therefore, you audition to Project 21 and make your debut the following season.

You are living the convention kid dream. However, somewhere in your kid's teen years after achieving the left or right back spot in a trio combo at best, and doing roughly 0,5 solos at full studio comps, you start doubting your choices again. This is where the 3 directions appear:

your kid expresses that it's too much and wants to just do hs dance. Well luckily you've signed your kid up for OCSA so the dance options are vast.

your kid wants to do contemporary and ballet instead, but Ylab is not giving the ballet experience you want and your contemporary teacher changes like every blink of the eye. Because of this you and your kid decide to go to Westside (which is somehow still not dead) and DKCBA.

your kid still wants to comp dance but just not with Molly. You sign her up for Mather instead, where she gets to live the lyrical life.

At the end your kid probably goes to UCLA or USC Kaufman, or Juilliard if they're really good

hiring mark meismer for choreo and hiring vincent for emceeing is just so insane because neither of them are even that good at their jobs. mark's choreo is mid as hell and almost as childish as his taste in men, it's literally just outdated 2010 lyrical/jazz that could be done by anyone else. and vincent, sure, maybe he's good at emceeing idk but an emcee is literally just a dude who talks. you can get ANYONE to emcee. my cousin emceed at my sister's wedding and she did a brilliant job. why the FUCK would you hire a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER to fill a position that anybody on the street could fill. you could literally hire some homeless dude off craigslist and he'd get the job done and there'd only be like a 50% chance of him being a registered sex offender, as compared to vincent's 100%. you KNOW this man is a sex offender. this is lunacy

i def thought the emcee’s voice sounded familiar after watching this year’s p21 live, & when molly said that he was a friend of her’s at the end of the show, i assumed he was a btf announcer, but i had no clue that he was fired over allegations 💀

It’s not the first time Vincent has been brought up. Molly always has him do the live shows and he’s taught some musical theater classes all after being fired from Radix. Whenever it’s brought up it actually sadly gets dismissed because Molly is a saint in tumblr eyes. If Molly approves you all do.
