something that's been on my mind for a while is how a lot of people, mainly white women, think billie eilish's decision to wear baggy clothing n not sexualise herself is revolutionary but when it comes to brown / Muslim women using the same logic in which to cover themselves it's not considered so (and that's no shade, like I love billie but like)

what i absolutely adore about ancient indian scriptures like the mahabharata is how dark, ‘dusky’ skin is portrayed as infinitely beautiful. look at krishna. at satyavati. at draupadi. at arjun. it feels so amazing to read these in a world where the standard of beauty is white skin. reading these writings almost makes me feel exhilarated, like a child carrying out a rebellious act.

so the indian baccalaureate, "Boards" is shit af.

there's a bungling of 17 marks and that actually changes my admission prospects to such a large extent I can't even describe.

think of the people who have it worse.

some people get 40+ more marks after reevaluation smh
