“Now come on. I just wanted to talk to you! Why do you have to be so bitchy and freak out right away??…. Goddamn bitches….” Shane shouts after you as you stomp off in a huff.

Without looking back or even giving him another word, you raise your hand as you walk and give him the middle finger before disappearing out the door of the Greenes’ house. Actually, you wanted to wait in the house for Daryl to come back from his search for Sophia, because you didn’t want to be alone in the tent at night. But you will and you can’t do this to yourself any longer.

Cursing, you walk down the stairs, you should’ve known. Trusting people and wanting to help them is and always has been a mistake. At least when you have people like this asshole around you. You better would have stayed on your own with Daryl.

“Now fucking wait!” his voice is a little quieter now and not quite as pissed off, but his hand is all the tighter painful on your upper arm for it, making you stop abruptly on your way into the tent.

“Let go of me! Right now!” you whisper without turning to him, staring at the vast fields of the farm before you, which seem a bit creepy in the night moonlight.

“So, she’s alive and that guy he brought is the father of her baby??? Shit…” stunned, Sherry stares at Dwight while she takes a deep drag from her cigarette.

“I just hope none of your people overheard…you know what happens then…you know what Negan will do to him and especially to her…” she mutters, looking down at the floor in front of her.

“No, I don’t think so… At least I hope not…” replies Dwight, looking at the woman who used to be his with sadness. Every time they have this rare time together, it’s like a gift to him. In those few minutes, he tries to block everything out, not to talk about all those shit.

And Sherry has nothing better to do than worry about a person she doesn’t even know.

This will be a monster fluffy, sweet smut ( Is that even possible??… let’s see… Pinky decided…) So in any case, there will be much cuddling Daryl, who searches your closeness when he’s stressed

“Cap, we should move…”

For another moment, you gaze into the dark woods before turning to Merle and nodding at him. Jordan’s camp isn’t far from yours, but even as you get closer to the building, you realize that something isn’t right. It’s completely dark, no guard outside the door.

Nevertheless, you take extreme caution, and after you couldn’t see any of your comrades through the windows either, Wolfe finally opens the door carefully.

Your eyes widen as you catch sight of the interior. Even though it’s dark, you can see that everything here has been cleared out head over heels.

“That damn son of a bitch…. Took his people out of there and was goin’ to feed us!” curses Merle, kicking angrily at one of the boxes lying on the floor. Not a single man, not a single cot, there’s nothing here anymore.

“Yeah, and his equipment too… That’s bad for us…” remarks Teddy in a trembling voice and looks around cursing, hoping to find anything to send the call for help out.

Sighing, you place your bookmark between the pages and lay the book down on the heavy, soft woollen blanket in your lap. You close your eyes, slide a little deeper in the old, comfortable armchair and pull the blanket up to your shoulders, finally finding the perfect position after a moment of twisting around.

But for weeks it’s always the same. It doesn’t matter what it is you are doing. Whether you’re taking a shower or falling asleep, like now. As if he had set up a camera and was just waiting to annoy you at the most unfitting moments.

You already noticed at the camp how scetpically you two were being watched, even worse when Merle was still with you. Because you were the only one who stood by the Dixons. You’re not necessarily proud of that, because most of the time when you saw either of them, it was at some party or other.

#6 - Rest in peace… or even not

You spend the whole way back to camp in silence. On the one hand, because whatever attacked Frank has simply disappeared, behind the fences of this creepy village that’s better guarded than the Ford Knox. On the other hand, because it hurts you too much to have caught Jordan fucking some random woman. You broke up with him and you shouldn’t feel that way. Not after everything that’s happened.

You’ve known for a long time that he cheated on you, he treated you like shit, and still it hurts.

Angrily, you kick a stone away from you with all your might, which stupidly lies in your path. Which in turn attracts the attention of Lewis.

“Lu, may I be I’m honest?” he asks quietly, while his gaze is also fixed on the ground, and the dark trail of Frank’s blood is still clearly visible. You give him a curt nod, having trouble holding back the tears that are desperate to come out.

“Let it out! Cry it out, be angry, be sad, be disappointed. Hell, you married the asshole, you loved him, you have the right to be mad. And you’re also only human, feelings don’t just stop, love doesn’t just end. It disappears with time, give yourself time to fix your broken heart….” he says in a calm voice and you just stop. You close your eyes and feel the wet tears running down your face. Why the fuck does he manage to give you more comforting words than your father has done in your entire life?

You’re lucky to have people like Michonne around. When Denise, Rosita and Daryl left, she went straight to check on you. Daryl isn’t good at hiding when he’s pissed and that made her worried. The ladies explained to her what they were going to do, but Daryl was silent.

Even after she asked him about you, he just shrugged and told her he guessed you’d be ok and left then. Frowning she watched after the three of them, until the gate was closed again. She knows that a fight in your condition is not the best of things, she remembers that from her pregnancy back then. Her boyfriend had been an asshole and they had everyday fights.

But Daryl isn’t that kind of person, she knows that and that is what she worried even more.
