Someone may have already pointed this out but there’s just so much potential between Warriors, Twilight, and Legend purely because Hyrule Warriors exists???

Think about it.

Twilight and Legend have both lost people they loved, with no way to ever see them again. Midna shattered the mirror to the Twilight Realm, and Marin ceased to exist.

And yet despite these facts, somehow Warriors' face just lights up with recognition when he hears about them. It stings. Just a bit.

Literally just copy-pasted from a server, but I have a lot of feelings about Hyrule Warriors (and HW Link my beloved), so

I do not understand how people don't realize the amount of POTENTIAL that Hyrule Warriors has story-wise. "Well, ya see Link it's not canon!!" EXACTLY??? You can put some random shit in there for your fic and just use Cia or the literal timeline tomfoolery that caused multiple characters from different games and timelines to appear in HW as a reason?? Well, obviously don't ALWAYS use it as a reason, but with the amount of unsaid stories and left alone blanks you can make anything happen in that game.

And hello?? Characters from multiple timelines and games??? How will they interact with each other? How will they interact with this obviously, very different Link and Zelda? Speaking of them, what's their full backstories? What happens to them after the War of Eras? Does the war even exist anymore? Does HW Link cease to exist as the soldier with the Hero's Spirit and just becomes some guy since HW isnt canon???

Hell even Linked Universe-wise, you have free reign! Make Ravio and Warriors throw some little quips and inside jokes at each other making Legend frustrated! Make Warriors off-handedly mention Midna and Marin! Make Agitha explain to Twilight that she doesn't use bottles to capture insects and the such anymore because of the whole Great Fairy mechanic where she literally puts Warriors in a BOTTLE. (Cough cough thats an actual fic cough cough)

The possibilities are endless goddamnit, Hyrule Warriors itself is like the official DEFINITION of FANSERVICE

Mkay brain decided to work again so I’m back to talk about this.

So basically.

First being married to Wars’ Mom, and they’re both from Wars’ Era. Except then Wars is born, and they name him Link after his Dad. And Cia, in all her beginning to go sour ness, looks through time and sees that this kid is the Hero she’s been eyeing for who knows how long now.

But she also knows that First is a hero. And First, if he was there, would stop her rather easily.

And so she sends First back to before even the Era of Skyloft in an Ambush. Everyone back home thinks he’s dead. Wars is only like 5-6 when this happens, so he doesn’t really have any memory of his Dad, only that he was a knight, which influences his decision to become one, and in turn, his entire adventure happens.

Meanwhile, First ends up where he ends up, and it’s a very confusing couple of weeks until they get it sorted out that he time traveled. But the thing is, First knows what’s going to happen. He tries to warn everyone. Which sets off his adventure in turn.

Except.

Except he gets pulled through a golden portal before he can die raising Skyloft.

And the first face he sees is his own face.

The face of his grown son.

Who has no clue who he is.
