I am not condoning his rude behavior and have criticized him for it in the past, yet I believe he has redeemed himself at least in some ways (supporting Story of Kate, VMAs 2013, WoF speech, posting about the Ariana performance). I do believe speaking critically about his behavior past *Nsync should not be equated with trying to erase his part in the group or trying to say nobody needs him anyway. If people like him or not, he was an integral part of *NSYNC, without him JC would have never been in the band (as he was the one to recommend him back in the day). So I would appreciate if people ciuld seperate their criticism of Justin's douchey behavior from hsi part in *NSYNC between 1995 and 2002. I think fans like to conveniently forget that JC for years acted annoyed when asked about a reunion too, so Justin is not the only one. Either way, for many fans, *NSYNC was the biggest thing in Justin's life. To him it might (I am not in his head or think I can speak for him) only be 7 cool teenage/early adulthood years. He has been a solo performer for over 17 years now (as a comparison). But that's only speculation.

Is there any way to enjoy *NSYNC reunion rumors as a Justin fan?

My joy is seriously getting spoiled by those fans who used to blame Justin for the band not reuniting and have now moved on to saying how pointless he is to begin with now that a 4 people reunion seems tangible…

It makes me sad because I would love to seem them together even if it’s just 4 - but being active in the fandom would be no fun if so much space would be wasted on pointing out how they allegedly never needed Justin to begin with….

Sorry I meant to reblog not hit answer, i haven't bee using tumblr on the phone in a while.

Either way, I have always been a Justin fan who has been able to critically see his flaws and I wish that the majority of other fans of either of them (including Justin) were all more reflective and didn't act like their favorite is superhuman and without flaws.

Thank you for the support! I know ans have said many times that I have issues with Justin and how he has handled things *Nsync. But just like the other 4, he was at least 20% of the band and shaped it in a lot of ways. I'm not judging people, I understand the frustration, and I am not the center of the universe so if that's the general mood, thats what it is.

You're probably right about Australia :( i wish bands were more fair when it comes to "world tours" and not limit themselves to Canada, the US, and 3 cities in Europe.

Also, I would just think that if he sees a largely hostile fandom, that would make it even less likely than it is now for him to ever reconsider joining the group.

Sorry for the confusion ;) I happen to love Justin. If I had to choose my favorite *NSYNCer, I would honestly not be able to. I love some aspects of Justin over JC, and some of JC over Justin. My name littlemisstimberlake (which may have added ro your confusion) stems from a time where my cousin was also on tumblr as littlemisschasez. We chose our names based on the fact that when we wrote fanfiction together, I would write the Justin part and she JC because we each identified more with that person's characteristics. For me, being a fan does not mean blindly agreeing to anything a celebrity does. I doot mean to criticize what others here are doing but to me it is very important not to act like the people I like are perfect and godlike. Justin has in my opinion made mistakes in the past that I do not agree with, and JC as well. If those come up n my blog, I openly stand to that opinion.I do not like JC more than Justin even though I would not be ashamed to admit that either if it was the case ;) I have not been active in a while on here but I know most of my posts have become about JC. I was not as excited with MOTW as I was with Justin's other works, and my heart still beats to the underdog that was/is JC in the music business. I believe they could have both had a successfull solo career if things would have been done differently. What I love about them is their dynamic. They have known each other since MMC and you can just tell their dynamic is very close and loving.Long story short, I love them both equally, some days Justin more, some days JC, flaws and all. I made a thing! 

This is an idea I’ve been kicking around for a while. Inspired by some J-Idol fanbases I’ve been lurking around, I’ve set up a Dreamwidth community for the sole purpose of collecting and sharing whatever *NSYNC-based media is out there. Uploading to streaming sites like YouTube can be a bit of pain as you never know when a copyright strike is gonna hit, so why not just put the video or whatever up for download? 

The community is strictly Members Only, but membership is free. The community is still fairly empty at the moment – I still need to rip and upload most of my videos and CDs – so I encourage anyone who has stuff ready to share to go ahead and make posts. (Tagging system still not completely set up though, so posts are moderated.) Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

@dalegodboldo: Alright gonna get a little personal with this one… which I don’t do here often. Hey, I’m gettin’ sentimental in my old age. 😉  So @nsync received their honor at the Walk of Fame and I had the chance to share in that moment with them. What I hadn’t anticipated was just how incredible the feeling would be to reconnect with many of their team members that worked behind the scenes over the years, some of whom I hadn’t seen in almost 20 years. They were ALWAYS kind to me and treated me respectfully, during a time that I cannot even tell you how CRAZY it was around that group. THANK YOU. 

But this brutha right HERE… let me tell you something - I think the most special for me was seeing the light in @jcchasezofficial’s eyes. I’ve watched this man work his ASS off for so many years, starting with a 14 year old kid (maybe 15?) at our Mickey Mouse Club finals audition camp here in LA. He put in the work back THEN, and over the years to follow, and ALWAYS maintained his integrity (both artistically and personally). You won’t find ANYONE to tell you a negative thing about him. Nobody. 

But what many don’t know is that when I went through a relationship break-up and was basically homeless, my man moved me in and gave me a room. When I launched my record label, he Exec Produced the record and performed at my launch party, WHILE I know he was stressed as hell working on his own stuff simultaneously (I actually harbor regret about the pressure I probably put him under). I just wanted to share my deep and sincere gratitude here publicly. This brotha right here is the TRUTH. And the word ‘proud’ only begins to touch on how great it felt to see this historic moment for him. And that goes for all the guys. Class acts. More than deserving of this recognition. Not to be like “I told you so,” but I told y'all as soon as Justin would say anything like maybe to a reunion (“We’ll see what the future holds”) JC would stop saying “never"and start saying maybe, too.
