Idk if you share your options on things. But in curious what you think about bisexuals being upset about les4les but not bi4bi?

Bisexuals often get upset with lesbians bc there is a lesbian culture they cannot access or fully understand bc of their attraction to the opposite gender. Idk why they get so upset at this. Lesbians can’t access the bisexual culture bc we aren’t bi. A lot of bisexuals just cannot fathom the thought of a lesbian who is strictly les4les that has nothing to do with bisexuality. Most people who are les4les and have a strong need for lesbian solidarity are not biphobic, sue there is some, but it’s mainly people who just want to be with someone and have friends/loved ones who fully understand the lesbian experience.

I'd say there is a general entitlement of bisexuals to take part in homosexual spaces, even though the bi community literally exists to distinguish itself from straights and gays/lesbians. It's regressive

I'd blame it on a newer generation of bisexuals who think their identity isn't "q-slur enough" and want to belong on communities that are only attracted to the same gender, even though they have their own place (and the biggest community in numbers mind you) so there being lesbians who prefer to date other lesbians due to shared experiences that no bi person could understand makes them grit their teeth.

Maybe I derailed a bit but I hope you understand what I mean.

Newer yuri fans might not realize it but Sailor Moon was a MASSIVE influence on the genre. Mostly because of these two:

Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who were explicitly gay. They were a major part of season 3, Sailor Moon S, which was directed by Ikuhara. Who liked the characters so much he used them as inspiration for Utena and Anthy, who of course would go on to inspire many more lesbians both in anime and in western animation.

We can also thank Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune for giving us Cure Chocolat and Cure Macaron in Kira Kira Precure a la Mode. No really they are doing the same pose:

If you don't know what Precure is, it's something like Japan's version of My Little Pony, where it's aimed at six year old girls but is charming enough that it also has an adult fanbase. Anyway Cure Chocolat and Cure Macaron had a genuine love confession scene which is basically like if Rainbow Dash and Applejack outright declared their lesbian love to each other for every kindergarten aged girl in the world to see.

What I'm saying is Sailor Moon has been hugely influential to yuri in the past and is still hugely influential to yuri and introducing it to a new generation to this day.
