It reminded him of a cat, so he let out a small laugh.

He goes down from the counter then places a kiss on Neuvillette's check.

"Of course I can sweetheart" he replies and then gets the potatoes from the other's hold and goes ahead to wash and prepare them.

"Perhaps another blanket in case it's cold" he answered the second question.

“I apologize for the wait, mon amour.”

[Neuvillette chirped, walking swiftly to Wriothesleys side after his day of work had concluded, the soft frown on his face fading slightly as he took his partners hand in his]

“I hope you did not get bored while waiting for me to finish up…”

[He exhaled softly, placing a soft kiss on to the dukes cheek, giving a small squeeze to his hand as his gaze remained on him, leading him out of the Opera Epiclese]

“Are you still willing to shop for a picnic? Or would you rather that wait until tomorrow? …I apologize that it took so long to complete my work.”

As he tapped his foot on the floor, not with impatience but with worry. Today's most recent case was one where he got reminded how terrible some humans can be with those they consider vulnerable.

There weren't any casualties or anything, but it still left a bad taste in his mouth and knows how emphatic his partner is he was sure Neuvillette wasn't feeling great either so seeing him cheer up again eased some of his worry.

"Hello there sweetheart, I didn't mind waiting" he replied while showing a smile of his own, squeezing his boyfriend's hand in a reassuring manner.

He rised his partner's hand and gave it a brief kiss on the knuckles, followed by kissing his partner on his forehead.

"I shouldn't be asking you this, after all I'm the one who was free today, but to give you an answer i'm still good to go."

He was proud, proud of reducing his dragon to such a state.

He smiled at the compliments then continued to kiss his partner silly. The kisses onslaught was returned eagerly by his lover.

"And I enjoy being carried like this by you, even if it still flusters me. It's just insanely attractive out of you to pick me, a bulky tall man, up like I weigh nothing." He points out in a playful tone.

As for the meal he thinks for a bit the answers "Potatoes could go well since it seems to be a fish with light meat. I could help with boiling them then adding some fresh seasoning to them. Is that alright for you too?"

"Absolutely certain, I trust you first of all, second of all as much as I like to act a wee bit dramatic I actually enjoy being teased by you and having your attention" he reassures the other in between the kisses.

When he felt the other tense up he held him tighter, not letting him escape anywhere knowing the dragon was most likely very flustered.

The small whines were like music to his ears and so were the purrs. He finally lets go of the rhinophore "My sweetheart, my amazing sweetheart, you're adorable purring like this for me. You're secretly enjoying it" he whispers in his ear then returns to peppering soft kisses on his partner's cheek ,then jaw then lips

" See, i'm not the only one getting flustered here anymore" he remarks then nuzzles his head in the other's neck in such a way that he gains access to his neck, chuckling against his skin he licks the spot first then bites.

"My beautiful,kind ,smart and strong mate. I love you, I love you so much."

Leaning his head gently against his very soon to be husband he replies " Now that I've also showered you with some affection, yes I would love to be picked up by you. Of course if you're still up for it"
