Hi.

So Ogata isn’t the best guy to analyze when it comes to his sexuality since there isn’t much to work on. At first read he seems to be either uninterested or straight up asexual.

But there are some scenes that do give an idea of how he interacts with men and women in general.

(This post will be constantly edited since I can’t be assed to do a part 2)

Happy New Year! I hope this one will be a good one for everyone. I think we all could use some peace, stability, and happiness these days.

*Tumor update: It’s still not out. Getting things sorted out with insurance and the extremely busy hospital has been a big challenge. I just hope that they can get this troublesome flesh potato out of my body sometime soon. Thank you all so much for all your kind words of support and your understanding. This has been a really rough time for me and all of your kindness has meant so much!

**I’m going to try to figure out how to do the archives at the end of the posts again, but it will have to be on another day! I’m still so behind on so many things TwT*

Your regular reminder that you never stop learning to draw and that it's super okay if you feel like you're not "as far" as your peers! Everybody learns at different speeds etc and you're not a bad artist if you struggle to practice with things that are hard for you to draw!

And in the same vein, everybody worked hard to get to where they are now, and it's not appropriate to project your insecurities onto those people by desperately pointing out flaws in their art. Bitterness never makes you better at anything, and it also makes you an asshole!

You learn so much more from appreciating other people's work and focussing on yourself instead of what other artists are doing! The moment it feels like you're in combat and not having fun with your craft, is when you have to take a step back and analyse why you're even doing it!

I’ve got a goddamn tumor.

Thank you all so much for your patience. Things have gotten really chaotic for me because my doctor found a tumor in my body and it’s messing up the works. It’s probably not the “murder-type” of tumor, so I’m not gonna die or anything, but so far it looks like it probably DID did destroy a significant portion of my reproductive system, which has been really devastating to me emotionally because I’ve always wanted kids and now that might simply be impossible (biologically at least, and that’s still extremely heartbreaking for me to accept). Hopefully I’ll be able to get more imaging done soon and get some surgery to get this fixed or at least made better. (As someone who often faints when getting flu shots, this has NOT been a fun time for me.) Thank you all so much for your continued support and patience. It really means the world to me. I’m so sorry I’m still so behind on sending out the patreon rewards. I do plan to get to that soon. I’m not sure if my next update will be able to be on the 1st because I have no idea when I will be able to get my medical stuff done yet. I’ll do my best though. Thank you all again <3

I’m really sorry. I managed by time poorly. The comic update will be done in a few days!

On the bright side! The comic script got a major overhaul and hopefully this will be a much more satisfying ending to this arc! Also, in belated-honor of Halloween, Here’s Ganondorf doing a Captain Morgan cosplay. I don’t think I’ve shared this one yet. Did it for a friend a while back! Not as good as a comic update, but hopefully it brings a smile!
