Brain thought of thing to do with the HSR x Genshin reader. Reader with a fire vision fighting Sam, fight fire with fire.
Literally nothing would happen, they would be fighting forever.
But on another note, I wanna know how those people who simped for Sam because he was a cyborg are doing after 2.1.

I feels this in my bones.
I’ve loved Rook forever and had to deal with the “oh he’s creepy” and the “oh he has a bad haircut” since day one. But now suddenly he has curly hair and freckles so it’s socially acceptable to say he’s pretty.
Like I won’t say I’m judging you but I will be giving you the biggest side eye if you’re only now hopping on the Rook train.

Oh, so now suddenly EVERYONE thinks Rook is hot. I see how it is. I am watching you.

HE IS MY FATHER, BUT NEVER CONSIDERED HIS DAUGHTER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: would you believe that the outstanding dr. ratio had adopted a teenage daughter? for two years of living together as a daughter and father, never once was there a spark of love and warmth in their shared home and in public. the daughter tried to win her father's attention but it was already caught by an outstanding student. surely, he won't forget about her, right?
pairing: dr. ratio. . . hsr (the reader is included)
genre: angst, adoptive father x adoptive child trope, lack of love from a parent, burdened by academic pressure, visible favoritism, pressured by unrealistic expectations, one-sided affection between father-daughter
note: idk if this will be a short series or not but meh whatever inspiration say, I'll do it

Now that I think about it, somehow the agreement that the helluva boss characters made with the hazbin hotel characters in which they cannot go visit the reader on earth (although they most likely did not like the idea and probably agreed reluctantly) consciously or unconsciously they are protecting the reader from DHORKS agents and a possible kidnapping by them in order to interrogate the reader.
I don't know; it's something that crossed my mind. I hope I don't bother you with this. You don't have to answer it if you feel like you're not in the mood to do so. <3
Yeah they are, now that you mention it.
If I'm being completely honest, I don't think about DHORKS often, but I do see your argument that keeping the characters that can't disguise themself as humans away from reader makes them safer, since DHORKS are probably still scared of Stolas if we're being honest.
The little thing I wrote about Adam has really made me think more about what the Helluva boss characters, specifically the ones who can change their appearance to blend more into the human society, would do with reader on Earth. I literally can't remember if Octavia can change her apperiacne, but if she could, your house is basically her second home. She's isn't to disturbed about your home life, not that she doesn't care but that she knows what it's like to hate your parent.

As someone who is really enthusiastic about the lore of Genshin, your hsr x genshin reader has captivated me. Right now I’m mainly thinking about characters from the IPC and maybe even the Xianzhou being aware of Teyvat’s existence but having no way to interact or make contact with it because of Celestia’s false sky.
So characters like Aventurine, Topaz, and maybe even Dr Ratio since he technically works with the IPC being curious about reader since they’re currently the only look they have into what Teyvat is like.
So I finally finished Penacony and firstly, ouch. Secondly, I have a lot of thoughts.
The idea that Teyvat is on the IPC's radar but they can't come into contact with it because of Celestia is actually such a big brain thought, you should be proud of yourself.
When it comes to the IPC, it's their hob to know what is going on with each planet within the vast universe, and so to discover that there is a planet that they've never heard of, that they aren't able to make contact with in any way definitely raises suspicion. Since Celestia is obviously filled with outside forces, I don't think they would be able to tell that the false sky was made by them. Because of their inability to make contact with the planet, they keep heavy watch in case anything happens and they're able to find a way in. They probably even give Teyvat some long, scientific name since there isn't really a way to figure out what the planet is called.
When it comes to the Luofu, their knowledge of the distant planet is even less. They, like the IPC, aren't able to come in contact with it, so they choose to remain neutral until the time comes. Unlike at the IPC, where I feel as though much discussion around the planet is bureaucratic, on the Luofu talk about the planet is much more lighthearted, spreading rumors on what could be hiding on it, if there is even any life on it.
This brings me to cultural differences, we obviously know that technology wise Teyvat is lacking, they probably see wing gliders and Ruin Guards akin to a child's first invention. But there are other differences too. What happens when the IPC learns that you don't worship the Aeons, that there are gods outside of the Aeons. And this isn't just some offshoot, visions are proof that these "Archons" exist.
Many other planets don't even know you exist, I highly doubt Sunday knew about Teyvat before hearing Aventurine talk about it with Ratio. Most common people aren't really considered with what's happening outside their home planet. So I don't think many of them would really assume you were from an unknown planet until you explicitly tell them.

How would Adam interact with immortal reader? Is he just curious at first and then because obsessive or is he all ready? How would he feel if the reader started to heal their inner child by willingly talking and being coddled by him (if he does that)? Also, love the way you write out the character's, just, muah, chef's kiss 🤌
So I talked about this a bit, but I can't find the posts, but Adam views reader as something rare, something valuable not everyone else has. Where he differs from characters like Val is that he actually has the desire to learn about reader, why they are so scared and timid, it's like a strange fascination he has.
In my mind, Adam is more like an annoying older brother, where he pretends to hate you when in reality he would kill anyone who's mean to you. In the au, after that battle at the hotel, Adam lives but ends up going to Earth to spend time with reader, where he meets readers mother and learns about their home life. He pretends not to care, that it doesn't bother him, but it fills him with rage when he watches you try to convince your very drunk mother leave the couch and go to bed.
He doesn't do anything about it, he knows that Sera is probably already mad at him for loosing to demons, it's not going to help him if he kills a human. So he tries his best to ignore it, in hopes that it just goes away. Besides, when it's just you and him, everything's great, at least from his perspective. A lot of your "friends" from school confuse him for your dad, which makes him wonder what your dad looks like, not he'll be able to find anything, your mom got rid of everything of his.
It's obvious that you don't want him there, he's crude and mean and he eats all your food. You constantly wonder why he doesn't go back to heaven and even if he won't admit it, it's clear as day that he's scared of what will happen to him. He'd rather wallow in his own pity, watch shity reality tv and eat all your food than face the reality of his loss.
When he'll go back isn't really known, honestly you're just going to have to deal with him.
---
Little bonus that I thought of while making it:
Reader: I made this friendship bracelet for you.
Adam: Hah-imagine making something as dumb as that, what are you twelve?
Reader: Dude, you don't have to wear it.
Adam, defensive: No, I'm going to wear it forever, back off.

Good day! I really enjoy your Hades Self Aware AU and wanted to ask a question about it, more specifically about Zagreus' obsession towards the player. From what I've read, is it basically "the force from within that I can't live without"? Because it seems like he has grown dependent of it in a way? Or is it more "the comfort of not being lonely even when you are alone"?
I'm sorry for the ambiguity, I just became curious about the depth of Zagreus' fascination and what does it for him I guess ><
I think it's more of the first one, but a lot of his obsession is driven by the feeling of strength he gets from player. He truly believes a large part of his will and drive is because of them, even though he's been attempting to escape a long time before they came around.
It's truly a mixture of emotions. He feels adoration for the strength you give him, possession due to you being something not anyone seems to understand, pride for being the one you chose to control, and so many more.

I hope people know the whole clockwork mechanic in penacony, the one where you can change people's emotions, or more specially the the ability to give people emotions they are missing is literally just the take hear/give heart mechanic from Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
Like no tea, no shade, but it't kinda crazy how similar they are, even down to the point of "absorbing" other peoples emotions so you can give them to people who are missing them.

I sent you sum a bit ago and it was about your Self aware Zagreus bits. PLS IGNORE THAT. I hadn't realized you already expanded on it.
(T_T)
But uh, can I ask about what if the gamer somehow got sucked into the game, or if Zagreus did find them? Maybe they starts having dreams about the game? Or starts hearing Zag around their world, like in their head as they go about their day without playing. Hi
So I've thought about it for a while, and honestly I don't really know how the player ends up in the game.
I haven't really expanded on it (or maybe I have an I just forgot), but in my mind, while the reader is definitely playing a video game, the things happening in game are completely real. Like it's more than just "reader gets transported into a video game" but more along the lines of reader getting transported into another world. I only say this because I think it's more interesting than a regular self aware au.
Anyway, if reader did somehow find their way into their world, I think they are genuinely shocked to just find a regular mortal. Like, many of them assumed you were some higher being due to your influence on the world. So to see that you're a normal person definitely confused them. This doesn't mean that there feelings for you change however, they still are obsessed with you.
Though, this does leave room for a lot of angst. Seeing these characters, who you love so much, be unable to hide their disappointment when you appear, it hurts. It takes a lot of convincing from characters like Zagreus to finally accept your place amongst them and realize that you're wanted.
I don't know if any of this made sense, but I've been thinking about this a lot and it's just been hard putting it into words.
