celine and suri are taking care of a bunch of puppy orphans.

“i’m going to be honest with you, i’m not much of a pet kind of girl. my parents tried to force a pet onto me when i was younger, you know, like a hobby, but i couldnt take care of it even if my life depended on it.” but then again, who the hell would get an eight year old a puppy and expected her to clean up after it; if anything, she just wanted to play with her dolls at that age, not a living, breathing creature that pees everywhere. “but i promised that i’d help you take care of these puppies, so i can’t break that one.” she shrugged, squatting down to pick up one of the puppies. clearly, she didn’t know how to actually approach a dog, so it squirmed out of her arms and she set it down immediately. “oh, great, it hates me already.”

luciana and celine decide to go camping. celine reads the map upside down and they both become terribly lost.

“look, i know i’m not the best at camping, but i swear the map was right side up!” due to the mistake of celine not being able to follow the map, she had gotten both her and luciana lost in somewhat of the wilderness. celine’s bright idea of camping was due to her attempt of trying to get closer to luciana. “i used to go all the time back in australia when i was younger!” she convinced her friend. but that was then when she had her mother and father and family friends who knew all about camping. though celine was confident that it would go well, it was the complete opposite. “okay, it could be worse. we could’ve been eaten by a bear by now.” she tried to make light of the situation, even though it was probably the last thing that luciana wanted. she observed her surroundings, trying to find any sort of sign that would lead them back to safety.

knox and celine pretend to be in a relationship for the purpose of an undercover mission.

“hey, knox. my dear friend. good ol’ buddy,” celine’s way of attempting to get what she wants is to compliment her friends, and they’ve probably caught on by now. just days before, she received the dreadful phone call from her parents inviting her to one of their cliche dinner parties they threw for the following week. after she had accepted, she impulsively added that she would be bringing someone. of course they were expecting someone well-mannered and luxurious, but she wanted to bring the exact opposite. no offense to knox, but he fit the criteria perfectly. they had met through some mutual friends in brooklyn, but they were never as close as she wishes they could be. she likes to blame it on the fact that he’s a very private person, but it’s also her fault for not making more of an effort. “listen, i received a call from my parents inviting me to a dinner party, and my dumb ass said that i was going with a guest. i know we aren’t that close, but i was hoping if you could fill in for me temporarily? no real offense to you, but they’d hate you, and that’s exactly what i’m aiming for.”

cordelia and celine are at a wild party. cordelia doesn’t want to be there.

“c’mon, cordelia, it’ll be fun!” celine had finally convinced cordelia to join her in brooklyn for a party of her friend’s. it wasn’t the typical, upper class parties that cordelia was probably used to. there were no servants serving champagne along with hors d'oeuvres, no one was dressed in ball gowns, there was no luxury to it, it was the complete opposite, set with red solo cups, tequila and vodka bottles lining the counters of the kitchen, and people going in and out of the bathrooms to probably throw up all that they’ve been drinking. it was rare for women their age to be at this type of party, but this was a special occasion held by a close friend of hers. in attempt to break the ice, celine turned to cordelia, ‘let’s take a shot!” she grabbed her friend by the hand, leading her over to the kitchen where the alcohol was. she grabbed two shot glasses and filled them up with tequila, grabbing two leftover lime wedges off of the cutting board that was on the counter. she clinked her shot glass against cordelia’s before downing it almost immediately, sucking on the lime afterwards.
