the funniest dynamc between my boyfriend and i is the chef/baker divide runs so deep. experimentally my boyfriend is a genius with figuring out what flavor profiles will not just taste good together but also will be enjoyed by the specific audience he is cooking for. a recipe is not a guidebook so much as a suggestion and he will frankenstein ideas together to get exactly what he wants to happen. he also didnt know that sugar will not work properly if you dont mix it with the wet ingredients in banana bread and when i asked 'why didnt you do it in the order of the recipe' he said 'i didnt really think it mattered'. autistically i exploded his head in my mind

There is no possible reality where this is in any way capable of being passed off as self-defense. It was never self-defense. It is, and always has been, a genocide.

Crying babies. Crying babies. This is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, meant to draw out and kill civilians while also making it far more difficult to locate and aid children who are trapped or alone.

So one time I saw a theory on Tumblr about Lanolin doing a sort of betrayal or going too far with trying to stop Eggman during the Urban Warfare Arc. Obviously that never happened, but it would be interesting to see her go down that route.

tbh I was never a fan of that theory of Lanolin being a villain because I never saw her as such xD when people asked the staff they said there was no reason behind the panel (the one made people think she was gonna be a villain) so I always kept in mind the "she won't be a villain" idea

I'm glad she turned out to be fine, I enjoy her as being one of the good guys that doesn't have the typical "good guy" personality y'know? she's sarcastic, she's tired, she's bitter sometimes, she's strict/bossy, she's of short temper, she's VERY insecure and suffers from imposter syndrome but in the end of the day she has good intentions and I love her for that!

She's just a sheep trying her best to make a difference, regardless of her own weaknesses and negative traits

i think that “Silver and Whisper were rushing into this and look pretty crazy with no proof” and “Lanolin is blindly defending a stranger and ignoring the testimonies of two highly experienced resistance members” can both be true, maybe?

Like yeah, Lanolin is right for stopping them from JFK-ing Duo, but she’s also wrong for completely dismissing Silver’s claim that Duo tried to kill him and Whisper’s experience with Mimic without even bothering to investigate.

Nuance, people, nuance. Now let’s sit back and keep enjoying the silly hedgehog comic.

One of my favorite subtle cosmic horror elements of The Amazing World of Gumball is that secondary characters are terrified of being boring. It sticks out, because it'd be more expected for kids to worry that they're "annoying" or "not cool"... boring is an odd choice of descriptor.

In The Storm, Carmen temporarily breaks up with Alan because she fears their "perfect" love is becoming boring. In The Colossus, Hector is sent over the edge by Gumball telling him he's boring. Clayton admits his reason for habitual lying is because he's a loser, and all of his true stories aren't interesting. Tobias feels like he should be entitled to a sidekick and exciting adventures, because he's rich and colorful and he's earned them, and yet his life is mundane.

It's not like they know what happens to you if you're too boring
